About Titan Chaser:
Car. Foggy night. Mystical landscapes. And if you want to work - titans. Titan Chaser is a surrealist driving experience, where your work is to scout giant creatures and use the light to drive them off without fighting or ending them.
Every night you leave the motel and drive through empty fields, looking for something. Your job is to scout wandering giants and drive them away from the sleeping town using light.
It's a meditative experience where you don't need to manage fuel, car maintenance, health, or damage. Just find where to drive and how to use your tools effectively. Or just forget about your work and drive through foggy landscapes to calm down after a hard day.
In Titan Chaser you can:
-Walk and interact with the environment and your car
-Drive your car in a fairly large open world
-Relax and observe mystical landscapes
-Scout Titans
-Do your job and make titans go away using lights and environment
-Discover the story and personality of the main protagonist through her commentaries about her surroundings

It's refreshing to have a game about monsters that doesn't involve you killing them, just observing and gently guiding.
17:23 You're playing as someone with powerful hallucinations and Dr. jasper allow you to live through your hallucination instead of taking care of you. It's a "It was all a dream" twist with extra steps.

@@Simply_better22343 different ways the hallucination ends. I told you, it's a "It was all just a dream" twist with extra steps. Literally anything can fit into that. That's why it's a really lazy twist.

I don't know why but if you watch IGP at like 2-4 am it just hits different it's so much better then watching it during the day so imma see you all at 2
That flying whale gave me a feeling like the first time I saw the Cove Tree in Subnautica. That mesmerizing sense of peace just feels so awesome.

This sounds crazy but IGP's videos are crazy therapeutic for me. When my anxiety gets high my dermatophagia gets really bad, I often put on any of his videos, as soon as that happens, my anxiety drops so far, that I completely relax and usually can fall asleep at night. But Then I wake up at like 4am and I'm my phones playing those videos of those two guys who make pools and houses out of nature lol

I don't understand.
Part of me thinks that if he had instead gone to the beach or gone to Jasper's that the "epilogue" would have played out longer. Basically going to the city or going to the parents place probably does a quick ending while the other two choices have their own ending, or all 4 could have their own endings. I don't know, I don't have the game, but it wouldn't make sense to have that many choices via "go to X, Y, Z, or W locations on the map to chose" to have the end result be the exact same with little to no variation between them.

The kraken looks like a triceratops with tentacles on its face instead of horns, and beautifully terrifying.

If I were to live in a horror/thriller/creepy game, it would be this game. Like don’t get me wrong, titans/kaijus/leviathans are terrifying mostly due to size, but this game makes it so cool, like you’re part of something urban magical.

This game is a great example on how to make some from resold assets. Just need a couple simpler art pieces of creatures, set up on map with some props, some self made others cheap to buy, and then throw in a story, cool atmosphere, and some coding to make it all work and bam you can make a simple but interesting game for relatively little effort/people needed. And at the same time it doesn't feel all obvious and generic with a bunch of random models you recognize from other places being used because of that atmosphere and unique twist on things. For solo or small team devs, great example here.
This is so good. It reminds me of the movies with stranger things and troll hunter. I hope they add more but expand the map with monsters and choices. It’s such a good game and others should know about this. It has so much potential especially when it’s monsters.
I hope they do crossovers like demogorgons or other big creatures that everyone is mostly affiliated with. Please keep up the good work devs!
