Man, I was there Saturday and walked all over the pits looking for Clay and somehow couldn't find him. I lucked into Tower Suite seats with a friend pretty much right where you stood for the national anthem, it was awesome.

I just watched you race at freedom 500 and you bring a level of excitement and energy like no one else. You let it all out and really go for it. never apologise for accidentally taking some one out or settling a payback. You got taken out like four times and came from the bacl of the field to first place. Your a class act man. You took it like a man. So much fun watching you race.

I'm from the UK so we don't really have such a big drag racing culture, Santa Pod isn't far from me which is a very well known strip but it's not really something us Brits usually do, unfortunately.

Thanks KSR! So this Truck Driver grew up on the circle tracks here in the tri-state area of IN/OH/MI! I have been to the US Nationals twice I was hooked instantly! When I started at the county hwy dept that I work for know one of our mechanics did the drag and drive in his oldsmobile 442. He showed my the Hot Rod issue photo his car made it into. Have become a big fan of Clay! Hope to meet you and him someday. Most likely Indy or Norwalk!

Glad I got to travel with Ray Price (Harley) and crew when we set the world record speed. When Ray quit riding the race bike I left the crew & my little speed shop did well. Life's sure been a learning time...huggzz to all yall speed freaks

Also in UK (Hants) and wasn't much into drag racing - I was a circuit and road/special stage driver - but Kevin's channel got me interested. I'm hoping Clay (and Kevin) will be at Bradenton on 15 April when we'll be visiting our son just some 120 miles South, and we'll get up there to see them.
Man I had high hopes for Clay this race. Sucks to go out first round but I believe he will get it together.

Nitro fumes can wipe out a sinus infection. I was happy to learn that one time when my band played at the IHRA Nitro Nationals at Tulsa Raceway Park. 😁

Kevin, I've been twice to the Gator's, the first time it rained, the next year if I'm mistaken, I went again and i too was there when KB set the record.....very cool, that same year at the Southern Nats i seen Pat Austin run the second 300 plus run......always been a big Clay fan 👍👍👍👍👍✅✅✅✅✅

Wish I was there , haven't seen top fuel in a long time , and as for daylight savings time, our representative's aren't supposed to dictate to us what we do but uphold our Constitutional rights, I think they need to be reminded of their place and job .Thanks for taking is along Kevin , God Bless 👍

Clay as one of the most genuine and nicest dudes.
Time change was for the farmers back in the day so they could have a longer work day due to the change of the season shorter days in the winter.
