My main concern is that my ACOS of PPC campaign is way too high. it was 400% for few days, i made alot of adjustments and now it stays between 315-350% ACOS.
Please read my story below and guide me. Sorry for my broken english.
I have launched my product few months ago, it arrived in Amazon Warehouse on Nov9,2022. I placed PPC ads but I was not getting any sales. On first day I spent 150 usd on PPC with no sales. Then i decided to stop PPC and get high quality pictures of the product, A+ content and also vine reviews before doing PPC again. This product had 3 color variations, so I separated the variations and submitted 90 units for VIne reviews. in last last week of december 2022 i reached 70 reviews total and joined back all 3 color variations into 1 family again.
The average price of the product is 25-36 usd. I priced my product at $32 in beginning (target price is 39.99 after few months) because I have significantly improved the product in every aspect and made it a Luxury option in the market. You can clearly differentiate my product from rest of the competitors because I spent 5+ months and many thousands of dollars in effort to significantly improve the product look, quality and durability and also bundled with other very small items that customers buy with this type of product. I also have a luxurious giftable package box.
The vine reviews have provided very positive feedback and they all loved the design, and durability of the product.
in last week of december,2022, i only had 16 sales in total with total PPC ad spend of 2200 usd! So I decided to find a way to take my listing to first page organically. Although I only had 16 sales, my listing was showing up on 3rd page for my top keyword and also showing up on 2nd and 3rd pages of many keywords. My listing was also showing up on 1st page for some less competitive keywords.
I was also running instagram ads but did not get any sales at this point thru instagram ads.
The average sales of products on first page are doing 15-20 sales per day. So i decided to find a way to giveaway 15-20 units each day for 7-10 days to get organically ranked on first page for the top keyword. I tried to look around but was unable to find a legit way to giveaway units and rank on first page.
Than I watched Bradly Sutton from Helium 10 few days ago and saw how he suggests to really drop the price in beginning and get certain amount of sales for 7-10 days within the launch honeymoon period.
On jan1,2023, I set the sale price of the product to 12.99usd from jan1 to jan10,2023. I also put extra 5% clip coupon.
And started running ppc ads with EXACT campaigns and product targeting campaigns. I got 22 sales yesterday (jan2,2023) and 16 sales so far today (jan3,2022).
ACOS is still above 300%, daily total budget for PPC campaigns is 450usd.
Another weird thing that happened is this at this point, from dec27,2022 to Jan1,2022 my organic listing was on page 3 for the top keyword.
If we take a look at my current gameplan above, I will spend around 5000 usd more in PPC and only manage to sell around 150-200 units in next 7-10 days.
I have already spent 3000 usd on PPC and dont want to spend another 5000 usd on PPC because the 1st product batch that I ordered costed me 8000 usd. Here basically the PPC is costing as much as the amount of the 1st order. Please tell me if this is normal, I doubt that it is not normal.
how can I launch my product by maybe spending less than 1500 usd more on ppc ads, or external instagram giveaway techniques with unique URLs, etc..
