So sweet! I used to have a little Yorkie named Bo who was given to me by an ex-boyfriend. I loved❤️that dog more than words could say and of course, spoiled him rotten. I would give him a milkbone everyday as his afternoon treat but he never ate them, instead would hide them all throughout the house. I would be finding bones in my shoes, under pillows, under furniture and anywhere else he could find. Even though it has been many years since he passed away I still miss finding those bones!
It's just his little way of saying he's still with you and he's watching over you. One of those bitter sweet times in life.
My little guy does the same thing. I find it, and I give it back to him the next day, it works, plus I give him another kind of treat he eats right away... makes life happy and exciting for him, and for me. I'm am sorry to read about your loss. I know you have to miss him so much.

Chipmunks are one of the cutest and curiously ambitious and friendly animals. I had the fortune of discovering they existed as a very young boy. They are pretty amazing and this friendship is very heart warming.
