I agree with everything you all said. Absolutely heartbreaking, but you are right.. Not all stories have a good ending. Especially in the animal rescue world, but I love my job working with dogs❤
There is no more sweeter being on the face of the earth than a dog. I've seen my own dog express the same emotions and actions over loss. As she approaches 13, is losing weight and not eating like she should, I burst into tears over this video and the inevitable loss I will encounter in the not too distant future.
What a sweet adorable little creature. How sad he didn't get to enjoy a full chipmunk life, but he had a short beautiful life thanks to you and Charlie. Charlie is a sweetie.
I think so too! Charlie ( I think he is the breed Newfoundland ) needs a furbaby friend, and would make a very good foster dad, for orphaned baby animals that needed comfort, a warm body to nuzzle into, like this little chipmunk did, just like a real momma animal would do. I've seen many rescue groups have a nurturing dog care for the smaller orphans , until they got a little bigger and stronger, then gently play with them even outside until they are able to make it in the rescue on their own. These are very touching to watch too, except the endings are happy. Charlie could possibly be tested to be a foster dad doggie! His deep feelings over his orphan friend's passing touched me deeply too!😥😊😊🐶🐿️💜💜💜💙💙💙🙏🙏🌺🌺🌺

Oreo was very calm, and lost a foot from the real (Sinning wheel broke her foot and she started eating the dead flesh, eventually it was just a skeletal foot sticking out, And she eventually broke that off. We had gotten twipper to keep her company. Oreo passed around the age of 5. Twipper was about 3 when we got Maria. what a beautiful story about Kip and Charlie. In the past, I have owned ferrets while also owning dogs. It is amazing how curious, compassionate and playful the dogs were with the ferrets. They would play together and sleep together. Our "pets" are way more intelligent than they are given credit for.
My eight year old daughter and I watched this video. She cried all afternoon and made me promise that Kip is in heaven, happy and healthy and waiting for Charlie.
Charlie has a beautiful heart. I’m sad his friend passed. But, his beautiful eyes glowed when his parents bought him that plush toy that resembled his friend. What a blessing to have parents that understands and support u when u grieve.
Friday night viewing in this household is all about our animals and this left me in tears. Animals are better teachers than the human variety. RIP Kip!
"Maybe Kip wasn't mean to be long for the world, but he was certainly a gift to us and to Charlie." I couldn't stop the tears from flowing out at this moment. I had a puppy and she passed away too early, age of 9. It's been a few years, and I feel like I had a happy dream when I think about the moment we spent together. Clips of Kip after the doll Bring out the feeling again. Rest in peace both Dare and Kip.

I’m crying so hard right now….Kip and Charlie, both, have touched my Soul. It hurts so much to see animals pass and animals grieve. I’m so happy Charlie has his stuffed chipmunk 🐿; something tangible to help ease his grief.
The love Kip was given allowed him to have a secure and happy life each day he was on this earth. The life of a wild animal is often hard. They must constantly search for food and sometimes experience deprivation. Kipp had no such struggles and when his time came he simply went to sleep. He touched the humans and the animal in his life. That tiny bit of life That was kip made a big impact in the world. Blessings to all involved
Man, this was a tearjerker. I grew up a dog lover & am a full blown cat daddy fanatic. I adore rabbits, squirrels & chipmunks too. When I was a kid I has a squirrel & chipmunk stuffed animals & I made a clay chipmunk sculpture in elementary school art class. I have always loved chipmunks. Thanks for trying to save the little guy. Charlie is such a big teddy bear. You can tell he is so sweet from his eyes. Seeing Charlie & the chipmunk bond was amazing. So adorable. It is heartbreaking that he didn’t make it. Such a bummer & it’s sad Charlie was bummed. Our pets are incredible. They really have a profound affect on us & I’d argue vital to a healthy & happy life.
It's nice to know that there are still loving and caring people in this World. What a heartwarming story even though it didn't work out. You were able to give the Chipmunk what he needed when he needed it. God Bless You.
Recently we had same experience, our little cute burrito had fallen down from a height, we noticed and tried to take it to trees so that his mom can take care. It didn't work. Burrito was with us only for four days, but it changed our life. I totally agree, in it's last days, it found comfort in my and my daughter's palm, left us forever peacefully. Leaving behind so many innocent, loving , emotional memories.
This video brought tears to my eyes because life is sooooo fragile. Our fur babies have feelings, they grieve, go through depression and bounce back just like us!!! 😌
I am literally shedding some tears for the cute little dude and for the mourning of Charlie. So glad you showed him a glimpse of humanity for his short but sweet life.

what a beautiful story about Kip and Charlie. In the past, I have owned ferrets while also owning dogs. It is amazing how curious, compassionate and playful the dogs were with the ferrets. They would play together and sleep together. Our "pets" are way more intelligent than they are given credit for.
"Our pets are way more intelligent"... meanwhile the dogs running around with a stuffed animal it thinks is Kip 😂
My eight year old daughter and I watched this video. She cried all afternoon and made me promise that Kip is in heaven, happy and healthy and waiting for Charlie.
😢 Awe. This made me cry on top of crying from hearing Kip died.
...God bless this girl !!! kinde regards from Switzerland !!!
Of course you made this promise. Because it's true. 💙
How sweet your daughter is.♥️🌹💞
Jesus. The video was sad but your comment was heartbreaking. 😭
Charlie has a beautiful heart. I’m sad his friend passed. But, his beautiful eyes glowed when his parents bought him that plush toy that resembled his friend. What a blessing to have parents that understands and support u when u grieve.
charlie passed away too in october of 2021
Me: *opening to watch a cute, cheerful story *
Also me: * _proceeds to cry for the next 2 hours_ *
IKR??!!
This sh%t was awful. 😞
@@madmartian2 But also beautiful.
Same ... Now I feel horrible.
@@madmartian2 hahahahaha
Charlie is why we domesticated dogs. Their capacity to reflect and show empathy reminds us to be good owners and better humans.
Didn't expect to be bawling halfway through..
Friday night viewing in this household is all about our animals and this left me in tears. Animals are better teachers than the human variety. RIP Kip!
So glad you helped him have a comfortable life. He was adorable and so is Charlie! Precious dog!
"Maybe Kip wasn't mean to be long for the world, but he was certainly a gift to us and to Charlie."
I couldn't stop the tears from flowing out at this moment.
I had a puppy and she passed away too early, age of 9.
It's been a few years, and I feel like I had a happy dream when I think about the moment we spent together.
Clips of Kip after the doll Bring out the feeling again.
Rest in peace both Dare and Kip.
What a wonderful story, even if I'm crying like a baby. You and Charlie were angels to Kip. He had a special time with you both.
It's okay Debbie. We are all crying with you.
@@whocares11222 Big Ben and Debbie Mullen, a big hug to both of you .

Even though little Kip didn't make it, I'm so glad that you and Charlie gave him so much happiness with the little time he had left on this earth. God bless you and most of all Charlie.🙏 Kip is in heaven.
I am at my keyboard at 2:55 in the afternoon crying my eyes out. Thanks RUclips. LOL. RIP KIP.... Good boy, Charlie.
This is the first vid that doesn't have a happy ending...but at least Kip was loved & Charlie found consolation. 😢💔
My heart breaks for Charlie. What a sweet dog. Kip had the best life he could with Charlie as a friend and Kristin's nursing care.
The most important thing out of this was Kip given a chance and lived out the best moments before his passing.
Charlie's tenderness and warmth is so beautiful. He gave Kip a lifetime's worth of love and companionship.
I’m crying so hard right now….Kip and Charlie, both, have touched my Soul. It hurts so much to see animals pass and animals grieve. I’m so happy Charlie has his stuffed chipmunk 🐿; something tangible to help ease his grief.
This is enough to make a grown man cry.
It breaks my heart that this precious little chipmunk didn't survive but so glad that he had such great times with his buddy. Love, love, this story.
Rest in Peace, Kip.
You left your mark in this world better than most people could.
And it's a good mark. Rest easy now, little buddy.
Rest In Peace little guy, prayers to his family and friends
The love Kip was given allowed him to have a secure and happy life each day he was on this earth. The life of a wild animal is often hard. They must constantly search for food and sometimes experience deprivation. Kipp had no such struggles and when his time came he simply went to sleep. He touched the humans and the animal in his life. That tiny bit of life That was kip made a big impact in the world. Blessings to all involved
Hello Linda, how are you doing?
Damn, I wasn't ready for that ending! What a good boy Charlie is 🐶 Rip Kip😢
Made a full grown old man bawl like a baby.
This just shows how important dogs are for the world! Respect Charlie
So sad yet so beautiful.Poor Charlie. I’m glad he was able to get some comfort. 🤗🥺💝
Kip had a good time and probably loved it 🥰 so much
He was so cute So sad I cried
Found in a forest
Kip struggled to live his life
And Charlie loved him
RIP Kip, and Charlie, you're a good boy.
It's nice to know that there are still loving and caring people in this World. What a heartwarming story even though it didn't work out. You were able to give the Chipmunk what he needed when he needed it. God Bless You.
Gee what a great story…I’m definitely not going to cry myself to sleep and think about it constantly for the next two weeks
RIIIIGHT. 😢😢😢. Me too
Full on sobbing. Was not prepared for this.
Yeah , same.
SAME!
My dog eats chipmunks
Recently we had same experience, our little cute burrito had fallen down from a height, we noticed and tried to take it to trees so that his mom can take care. It didn't work. Burrito was with us only for four days, but it changed our life. I totally agree, in it's last days, it found comfort in my and my daughter's palm, left us forever peacefully. Leaving behind so many innocent, loving , emotional memories.
Oh man...this one made me cry.
RIP kip....and bless Charlie and his humans. Such a sweet story
Watching the video, feeing happy.... then my heart is suddenly torn out and stepped on... :(
Same here 😞
Then follow Charlie's example, hold a stuffed heart and heal yourself... :-)
Same here.🥺
you described what just happened to me too. 😔
Me to ..😪😪😪😪
This video brought tears to my eyes because life is sooooo fragile. Our fur babies have feelings, they grieve, go through depression and bounce back just like us!!! 😌
Y’all did all you could do. So cool Charlie has a new friend
This is the kind of story that makes tough, grown men cry, when they're sure they're alone. Truly a touching story.
Sorry I hit the wrong button because of my tears. Grown man of 74years and I still cry makes me human 💔💔
Do you have to announce in a public forum that you are a grown man, more likely than not you are not a grown man.
@@robertclarke8456 I hope you're doing amazing Robert, you sound like an awesome guy
@@DerFroschsCrackedEgg one thing for certain. You aren’t. Maybe you’ll get lucky.

This is so so sweet 😭RIP Kip!
Sad & beautiful story all at the same time. Yes I needed a tissue for this ! Bless you little Kip !
God bless you for caring for that little animal.
I am literally shedding some tears for the cute little dude and for the mourning of Charlie. So glad you showed him a glimpse of humanity for his short but sweet life.

I'm crying as well Eric. I'm a grown ass man and this literally broke me.
That bought a tear to my eyes, sooo sad & beautiful at the same time, that got me.
