It was cool to see that one of the original fates of Huey, Dewey, and Louie’s dad was actually the fate of Donald and Della’s dad. Leaving us with a bigger mystery on what happened to the triplets dad.

I love the implication in this, rockerduck was frozen at the same age as the outlaw of Scrooge McDuck and it shows here that f.o.w.l. was founded in the '60s which means that they just found his frozen body and he just joined upon being thawed because why not.
Korporal K. Reep rocker duck likely wanted revenge on Scrooge so he joined fowl in order to get his vengeance, much like how the phantom blot joined fowl to get revenge on Magica de spell.
@@LordRumshi i do hope Rockerduck becomes more then just a member of Fowl since in the Comics he is the replacement for Glomgold and so the 2nd richest Duck and he was a really nice counterpart to Scrooge so i do hope they will bring this into the show maybe in a new Season where its about him taking over Glomgolds Place and then it being a Rivalry between the 3 Richest Ducks
A correction, here - Bradford attended Scrooge's party in most likely 1972 or 73 (as that was a recession and we know it's around that time because Bradford has lost his hair but the Scrooge we see from the past wore the clothing we saw when he lived in the 1960s).
The Papyrus mission took place in 1992 (Della and Duck are canonically 36 by season 2 and appear to be about 10 in the episode making the date 1992).

But what year was it when he went adventuring with Isabella? It's crucial for my OC villain's perception of reality (he embodies a 20's/30's horror comic villain)
It was interesting to see how Bradford started F.O.W.L., and the recent episode certainly explained a lot as too why Scrooge and family didn't know that Bradford was the brains of the outfit...but like it was good to see younger Donald and Della again!
FOWL's history is interesting. I love the fact that Black Herron was just a cliche super villain while Bradford was trying to do things practically and cunningly.
Black Heron certainly wasn't one for being subtle, cunning, or even low key given how Bradford wanted to remain in the shadows and managed to luck out on not being remembered as the leader of FOWL.
Hot take: I think Black Heron had a crush on Bradford, but not the vice versa.
Ever since the Darkwing Duck Crossover episode, It's about time that Launchpad, the Triplets and especially Scrooge McDuck have find out that Bradford and the Business Vultures are the ones leading F.O.W.L.
Season 3 has gotten very interesting, I'm actually both excited and nervous on what's to come especially during the Season 3 Finale.

In a sense Bradford is a main antagonist even though he claims he isn't a villain, despite he works with quite a few note worthy villains.
Until this Ducktales episode "The First Adventure", the idea was that this was the second incarnation of FOWL after Mrs. Beakley told in the episode "Escape from the Impossibin" that FOWL was destroyed by SHUSH in the 60s and by the fact that Black Heron being the only FOWL agent to be part in the old FOWL and the new one led by the Buzzard Vultures. Now we know that since the beginning was always the same FOWL incarnation because Bradford and Black Heron were its founders and the reason because the organisation vanished was because they retreat into the shadows and hoped for the day that they would step up from secrecy and larceny the world under Scrooge's nose.

The latest episode makes sense as to when FOWL got a feather in one of the more recent episodes! If it wasn't from one of the other kids then they might be making a clone-child of Scrooge like in the Doctor Who episode (The Doctor's Daughter) and Superboy in the (Young Justice League) series!

Since Scrooge is the duck version of Batman, I think that Glomgold is his Joker, while Bradford is his Ra's al Ghul.

no idea how you came to the conclusion he was batman when Darkwing is a character.
So yesterday, I watched online the newest episode of Ducktales. This showed the origins of FOWL but also how Donald and Della winded up in Scrooge's care. They just used the same thing that happened to the nephews in the comics of why they ended in Donald's care. Nice touch, and for those who actually are aware of that fact.
Now when it comes down to Bradford, head of FOWL, he reminded me of the villains we had in Legend of Korra. Extreme ideologists who took their ideology too far. Nor did any of those villains like this vulture think they did anything wrong or were evil.
But as Toph pointed out to Korra and I'll point out to this villain, they are completely out of balance. Also, for the Head of FOWL desire to 'control chaos and save money?"
The point is life is chaos, and you can't predict or control any of it. We've free will, for god sake, and unless you found a way to take that away, you can control anything in life. And seeing how sentient beings are free will you can't separate them anymore and separate mass from an object.
In fact, that would be Hawkmoth on Ladybug problem being too much of a control freak and not realizing you can't ever control everything.
The guy in Jurassic Park said it best. Life will not be contained; it will find a way.
As for getting angry at what Black Heron was doing with her showboating, that actually normal. Ask any psychologist who talked to a real-world criminal, in particular serial killers.
They are all narcissists, and they WANT the attention. They want to show off how smart and clever they are. It's a game to them. And they want the attention on them.
So, it makes perfect sense for Black Heron to be showboating as that be the normal mindset of a narcissist who wants the attention.
It also makes this incredibly tragic seeing Donald and Della as kids with Scrooge on their first adventure because it will lead to the Spear of Selene, which will break apart the family for a decade while Della is stuck on the Moon for one.
And that only makes life even harder when Della finally gets back, and then FOWL rears its ugly head again so that you know the ripple in a pond effect.
As for the children?
Huey- he needs to learn flexibility and a little risk-taking. Allowing himself to get angry when he needs to and not always use logic and reason.
Dewey- Needs to learn self-control, so he's not so impulsive and too much of a risk-taker. Also, he needs to stop wanting so much attention on him and learn some humility. And when to be serious.
Louie- Needs to learn work effort and not to be lazy or take shortcuts. Also, how to be honest and responsible.
Webby- again needs to still work on learning social skills, thinking before speaking. Learn not to obsess or attack and mellow out some. And still some personal space.
One correction. The episode "The First Adventure" takes place in two different timeframes. The founding of F.O.W.L. and a few decades later (where the main part of the episodes takes place). So the discovery of the papyrus was not at the same time. You can see some of the changes in the timeframe in Bradford's appearance. There is also the fact that F.O.W.L. goes from being just then formed to suddenly being well known by S.H.U.S.H.
If you think about it. At the beginning of the series FOWL had already won. Scrooge had quit adventuring and was just sitting around doing nothing. So basically exactly what Bradford wants. It makes me think maybe Bradford had a hand in Della her stranding on the moon. I am sure Bradford would have known about the construction of the spacecraft since he oversees Scrooge his finances. Maybe he could have made sure that Della found out about the rocket (I think he could have easily predicted that Della would try to fly it no matter what) and sabotaged it beforehand. The Storm might have just been a lucky break for Bradford. That way he could have torn apart the adventuring trio that was Della, Donald and Scrooge.
Felt like SHIELD being infiltrated by Hydra. Also, what’s up with the strong foreshadowing with Agent 22? When the harp said she was still lying, her aggressive behavior in the Impossible Vault episode, and now Scrooge saying Bradford came with her recommendation and anyone she trusts he will trust. Something is going on here...
Possibly but there's also a chance that Beakley was fooled as well.
You can see the change of the Herring's arm and Bradford's hair that mean time has passed after the recruitment.
After the destruction of the hunts clan could magical creatures be more open. We don't see much in American Dragon but it exist in the same universe as Lilo &Stitch . Or Stitch Anime. And the Yokia aren't hidding much. There no secret at all. Why everyone is more open minded to aliens. They aren't wearing their wigs . Stitch is speaking in complete sentences to regular people he doesn't speak in complete sentences among his family in a other aliens.
But can he just prefers his pertiauan language.

I might start binge watching ducktales. Which one should I start with. The original or 2017 version?
Maybe the original; but you can decide.
If you want pure fun adventures then go for the original. If you want the storyline the. 2017
I prefer 2017. It's easier to look at and has cool story
I love the original but that is pure nostalgia, it can be very tedious and there are very few episodes that has an actual exciting storyline, but sure the episodes are fun but quite dated, it looks very very 80's/early 90's when you look at all the sidecharacters fashion and stuff. Though it is quite charming.
2017 is better plot-vise, and has a better storyformula as it is more plotdriven of course.
Both are good in different ways.
I think you should start with the 2017 one, and later watch 1987 to check the references.

For the last adventure, Bradford plans on erasing everything and everyone the could bring adventure and chaos. The duck, anyone they know, their villians, even his own clone brothers and subordinate Black Haren. Bradford says he is not a bad guy, but he is probably the most villainous antagonist in not just ducktales, but in the entire history of disney. He literally dropped Donald into the rift that deletes anything from existence while Scrooge is weak and promised to stop adventuring. He went back on his deal, and almost killed Donald. He is pure evil

Bradford claims he isn't a villain but perhaps at some point he may realize that he's no different than the other villains. His plan does make sense by making sure there is no one to cause chaos/destruction there would be order but Ludwig didn't wish to listen and saw an opportunity with black heron to do his own thing. Scrooge did in a way cause events like the shadow war from Magica De Spell and the moon invasion which almost caused an end to the world and Duckberg, so with FOWL in control they could prevent future chaotic catastrophes just like those events.
In the darkwing duck special episode of DuckTales Bulba say that the Fearsome four could help f o w l take over the world but Bradford says no he needs the fearsome four because they have super powers and Bradford doesn’t know that they could help
Bradford wants FOWL to make chaos in the world from the shadows in order to profit from that but without publicly interfering in great decisions. He is not interested that FOWL became a dictariorial organisation which controls everybody with an iron fist. It's because of this ideological diference that Bradford and the other High Command leaders have problems with some members of FOWL inner circle like Black Heron, Steelbeak or Taurus Bulba who want to operate in the open and show that FOWL is an organisation to be feared by everybody.

The papyrus isn't really cursed as much as using it will end badly for you unless you're extremely specific.

Can you do a theory about what could happened to Snow White's father, The King, before the events of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves? YellowBeak has a long history. Captain Morgan and his parrot yellowbeak were the linchpin for the first Carl Barks/Donald Duck story (Donald Duck Finds Pirate Gold) from 1942.

So can we not ignore the fact that F.O.W.L is like 60 years old? Bradford has been formulating a plan for THAT long, with that much people?! Whatever it is, it HAS to be worth the wait, maybe 3x longer than an ordinary episode! Also, how they portray members of the organization as well, so clever and entertaining!
I really hope Lunaris is tied in with F.O.W.L, seeing he's an enemy to Scrooge and needs help from others to get revenge.
I don’t think Lunaris is coming back, but we'll have to wait and see.

This was a very good episode. Loved how they made family the important component of enjoying the adventures for Scrooge.
But, Bradford's brothers don't get any characterization in the whole series, let alone any single episode.
Maybe they will give them distinctive characters in future episodes as they did with Huey, Dewey & Louie. I think Bradford is the Huey of the Buzzard Brothers (the brains), despite being the middle one. Bentley looks the oldest, while Buford looks the youngest.

I like some of your thoughts on this particular episode.
THE FIRST ADVENTURE and ESCAPE FROM THE IMPOSSIBIN are my favorite episodes of Season 3.
The more that they delve into the origins of S.H.U.S.H. and F.O.W.L. the more I want an entire series dedicated to this period of time in the DuckTales reboot timeline.
I have even figured out what the S.H.U.S.H. acronym stands for: Supreme Headquarters Unifying Spies and Heroes.
I also suspect that the end of this arc will see the dismantling of F.O.W.L. and the reformation of S.H.U.S.H. by Scrooge McDuck as his corporate backed spy agency to protect the world from known and unknown threats.
And Scrooge is going to have to audit his business transactions to see how much of his own fortune was used to assist F.O.W.L. over the years without his knowledge.
He cannot, and will not, allow this to happen again.
Ever since the vultures first appearance in series, they’ve a f.o.w.l. Shadow cabinet vibe way before the reveal
none else has pointed out that we saw black heron in the confidential case files of agent 22 and that was when scrooge and beacly met but this episode takes place after that one but black heron says shes apart of fowl an organization that doesn't exist yet that's why I believe the hoping clip takes place a year or 2 before the rest

*U forgot about louie Bradford clearly knew the magical protection could have been important but he didnt warn louie. And he had a button ready for that like it was planned maybe bradford found a loophole in louies fortune and getting him killed could make him aquire it and Scrooge will be quite powerless with no assets. Thats my theory pls review it. Not many ppl considered this but i considered it right after that episode which was before fowl was reaveled this could have been a way to tell us.*
Most villains don't see themselves as evil. They actually think they are doing good. That was Bradford to a T!
My OC the Smiler functions similarly, except he secretly fears the concept because it would unjustify every 'necessary sin' (the most common being cannibalism and torture of evil) he ever did.

I hope you do a video about Prince Eric's full story. Because I want to know what happened to Eric's parents, if his parents died when Eric was a child, how he met and adopted his loyal dog Max and how many princesses from different kingdoms beyond the "princess of Glowerhaven", Prince Eric met and has turned down on them before falling in love for Princess Ariel!

When Jumba was surprised to find out Hamstervil is Alive 😯 I thought there was some kinda of prequel accident. But it seems to forgotten in latter series movies comics and anime when go back just before Making 626. And Jumba knows Hamstervil is Alive. When could he have assumed Hamstervil's death.

I’m confuse about timeline wise of the the Ducktales episode of the Origin of Fowl because we know that Beakley and Scrooge known each other since that mission of the bounce elixir and Heron was part of FOWL. It looks to me that that was reckoned by the current episode by knowing that Beakley and Scooge have know each other before the creation of FOWL. But I don’t know, I’m confused where the episode is in the timeline.
@jf k Ohhhh actually looking back yeah buzzard looks older than at the begging of the episode but the thing that is puzzling is that in the bounce elixir episode Scrooge is recalling the last time he met Heron was at the 1st attempt of bounce elixir but the last time he should recall Heron should be the current episode with the Papyrus right.
