    Nice video. Couple of comments. It would be better to mount the Lipo on top as it blocks the airflow of the Tello if mounted at the bottom. The video feed should be better from the FPV camera as compared to the Tello camera due to Wifi transmission slack. Use a Goggle with built in DVR for recording and we would be happy campers. Happy flying

    funny how you learned that "new" trick just recently . I'm in my mid 50's and I use to do that way before the internet. like when I was 14 years old, messing around with tearing down my dad's stereo system . just so I could see how it worked. and fix it, before he threw it out. But I can remember doing that with matches ( not sure we had Bic lighters back in mid 70's? ) but I wouldn't have been allowed to use one anyways . But great video. been trying to figure out how to take a FPV camera and use it elsewhere?

  • @jaymoge

    Fyi, burning the wire the way you did caused the copper to get a burnt plastic film on it which is why you had a hard time getting the solder to "wet" the two wires together. Next time either don't use the Bic trick or scrape that layer off with a razor or emery cloth. I learn from my mistakes and because if that I'm a genius.... And I've made a lot of mistakes.

  • @jayjayhooksch1
    @jayjayhooksch1 4 года назад +1

    Hey, I'm new to cameras and drones. Quick question - is it simply a better quality camera that you installed or is better because you are dividing the processing needed between two devices?

    • @AsgardStudios
      @AsgardStudios  4 года назад +1

      Like I said at the beginning of the video, the main reason is because the signal from the FPV camera is lower bandwidth and therefore faster, so you get a near-real-time experience flying. The normal Tello feed is a bit too laggy for FPV.
