INGREDIENTS
FRESH SWEET POTATOES
1 CUP PACKED BROWN SUGAR
CINNAMON
NUTMEG
1 STICK OF MELTED BUTTER
2 CAPS MAPLE EXTRACT
2 CAPS VANILLA EXTRACT
3 TBLS BROWN SUGAR SPRINKLED ON TOP
1/4 CUP HONEY
1-1/4 CUP CLEAR KARO SYRUP

It’s good to be prepared! Even before Covid 19 I kept extra cleaning supplies, pantry items, tissue, etc. I’m a planner!

No I don't think your sister is crazy. The bible talks about hard times. My brother is preparing too. This looks so good Iam going to try it. I love your recipes. I have tried your meat loaf, and jello, cream cheese; and whip cream. Both recipes were a hit.

Just went to grocery store bought everything for baked Mac and cheese, dressing, turkey, and candied yams for the 2nd time so glad I found you!! Gina! Love you and all of your videos! My family has that conversation ALL THE TIME. Preparation is always appropriate. I talked with my family about coming up with a plan for several different scenarios. I started growing my own vegetables over the summer. But I've wanted to have bags packed & ready to go for my family as well. Something to do next. Kudos to your sister for being PROACTIVE.👏🏾 💪🏾

Hello Gina, your sister is right on point, my sibling and I was taught to be prepared for anything. Food, water, clothes, blankets, flash light, batteries, candles, etc. Because you never know when you will need to us it, especially like now with this quarantine. Gina, you tell your sister real good doing for her family. My wife and I we have everything ready like bottled water to the ceiling a little can goods, blankets extra pillows clothes set and ready, flash lights and batteries. You know we never thought about the can goods will do that too. Your sister is amazing Gina and you and family do the same, I think we all need to do it.

Yummy recipe. ☺️ We think alike I do the same when making my baked sweet potatoes. the only difference is I add lemon juice from a fresh lemon. (Just a squirt) flavor is amazing. The same way I make my sweet potato pie but w/out the crust. Lol

Mrs. Gina...I used my own recipe BUT I did follow your advice by partially boiling my potatoes first! Thank you for that! It did cut down on the cooking time! My candied yams turned out GREAT!

I been watching you prepare many recipes. I plan on trying many for Thanksgiving! I don't use cinnamon in my candied sweet potatoes, but I do put in some pecans. Other than that, I use your recipe. Praise God for everything. Thank you Gina.

Having lived in Oklahoma over 30 years, I always had a prepared duffle bag ready should the tornado warning sirens sound. My duffle bag had flashlights with extra batteries, shoes, socks, extra medications, water, cans of beanie wieners, dog food for my dog, extra car keys and cash. Always be prepared. You never know. Please tell me where you got the heater on your counter behind you. I have looked all over and cannot find it. Thank you and thank you for you amazing recipes. Love you Gina Young. 🧡
I think your sister has a great idea going for her and her family. Considering the pandemic going on, and the discussion that we will probably have many more cases this winter, I think we should have extra dry beans, canned fruit and frozen foods available in case we can't get to a store or if the store is short on items we need. Remember paper products and other essential items. Great idea, Gina's Sister. Thanks!
