I'm an American who only just this year got into watching snooker regularly. The actual physics of cue ball manipulation and control are the same as pool, but breaking is so different. I'm used to watching players try to destroy the rack in a game of 9-ball or straight pool while this is so delicate.
1. why would the red come up at the first break off? Is there an obvious reason for that? 2. Was looking forward to him doing the Mark Williams break off :P
Smaller contact the better the shot cause then reds dont generate enough power to move far away from that pack pretty common sense i mean more u hit the red bigger the impact
@@joulupukki1607 this is what I mean, and what different people have told me where I play snooker… some say to hot the reds as thin as you can with RH side to get the white into the corner…. Others say hit the red half ball with little to none RH side to get the white deep into the corner. I wish Ron had mentioned about how thick he’s hitting that red 👍
Lol u said that thing with your chest like ronnie didnt land cue 1cm away from cushin 2x in row no go find snooker hall and try do that with your perfect technique
honestly idk what the other two people above me are saying, Ronnie himself would tell you he has things he can improve, just because he’s thought of as the greatest, doesnt mean he cant be greater, otherwise i doubt he’d still play
As much as people hate it, Mark Williams has the best break off shot. Any of the star long range potters get their panties in a wad over that break off. Then again, that is what that type of break off is all about, putting the muzzle on the long potters, and making it a short pot game. Ronnie O'Sullivan, Stephen Hendry, and a few of the other older players do not have the eyesight they once had and this type of break off would help keep them more competitive. This, of course is my personal opinion and I am sure there are people standing in line to protest against it, but it is still my opinion whether you like it or not.
Ronnie has lost 85% of his matches in the last 5 years due to bad safeties and poor breakoffs. Get some lessons son and you can keep winning another ten years. Lol.
Just shows how natural his ability is, he can’t explain easily what he’s doing but is a master of it
Which bit couldn’t he explain?
The experts are in force in the comments.. sausages 😂
This guy will win a lot in Snooker

Because he caught it too thick.
Always thought Quinten hann had the best break off shot
The funniest part of this comment section is the fact that all replies (besides this one) are from the same person posting from multiple accounts! 🤣🤣
I think the best break off ever was this one ruclips.net/video/6mRCbGk3b6s/видео.html heheheheh
Hann had the best break 👍🏻🍀
And when you've mastered the break off, see if you can break off left handed.
he should explain if he hits the red half ball, just under half ball or one third ball? im always interested in what that part of the shot consists of
Hit as much of the last red as you can

Despite being a legend of the game, there's still room to improve his break off. 🚀
Hahaha oky bro 😂 when you speak & play, it’s always difficult.
He is pure genius & he knows how to break v. Well

🐐
The best ever. As the Americans say, period.
I break straight down the table with enough side to leave the cue ball at the back of the reds
If he work hard He can play good snooker
Mr Bean of snooker lol 😂🤣🤣🤣
He’s still ur dad nmw!!!
Willo made the best break off shot, but he ended up using that method.

Not bad but not perfect ... Measure heart with your opponent to wait for the shot's mistake :)
Has any one noticed that ronnie used his left hand in the video, probably to flex on us that he can use both left and right hands.
He pretty much always breaks off left handed, has done for a number of years, think he said it helps him get more side on the cue ball
sifuuu !!!
Why didn't he shoot till he got a perfect break off and use that one in the video?
If he keeps practicing he could be quite good as this
🚀❤️
Love You 😘👄👄
Not perfect

I don't think this player is qualified to give out snooker tips. He's average at best.
Sarcasm?,😂
