London is a world-class treasure trove of history and architecture. In fact there is no such “class” - London is totally unique. It beats all our American cities, even NY and Boston (which I love), with a big Churchillian walking stick ! I hope the Brits appreciate what they’ve accomplished, in keeping London, old and new, so awesome. There will truly always be an England, as long as there is London.
I used to do almost exactly the same walk every day for five years when I was a student at the London School of Economics and lived near Russell Square. As you can imagine, it brought back many many memories! Thank you.
So did I but only for 3 undergraduate years and not necessarily every day if I didn't feel like it! Thankfully not much has changed, apart from the tiramisu phone boxes and changing the name of the Russell Hotel (sacrilege).
I looooove Bloomsbury and their surrondings!! I hope you film more videos in this area, there are a lot of beautiful alleys, side streets and squares 💕💕💕 Thank you!
Hello Sanpo Woohoo 30k subscribers. Russel Square a most place to visit for Sherlock Holmes TV series fans. The show starts right there. Side visit would be Russel Square tube station which is an older station and it is in classic red colour. Take Care Chris and Sandra of Canada.
Thank you so much Chris and Sandra. I didn't know about the Sherlock Holmes TV series being filmed here, I will have to try to find and re-watch. Stay safe.
I stayed in a hotel around the corner from the former Russell Hotel (now Kimpton Fitzroy), used the Russell Square Tube station and tried eel at a nearby restaurant near the University of London, all on my first trip to this amazing city.
With the covid, travel has become almost impossible. So being able to walk the streets of London and discover new places is a real luxury that you offer us. Thanks for sharing ! Merci ! 😁
Love seeing your strolls. They bring back many memories. We would like to see strolls along Lambs Conduit and Walton Street. Thanks from Milwaukee Wisconsin
It is an astonishing area of London and yet I know little of it's history. I was always impressed by the huge Portland stone buildings with bronze windows and doors, and such impressive names on some of them.
Sanpo I must say you do have a wealth of knowledge in the history of the buildings and these walks. In this video as well love the Telephone Box Tiramisu shop. Thank you. very informative

Once again thank you for a different walk around London. I didn't know that there was a remaining tram track, absolutely fascinating. Please keep the videos coming. 🙂👍
👍🏽😉 Take care Sanpo
Merci Frantz.
Thanks for the stroll Sanpo, some nice architecture. I know its not possible but it would be nice to be able to have a stroll down the tram way tunnel :)

@@sanpostroll2107 Actually, shouldn't every street be done two times? Whenever I watch walkers, I wish that they get this idea. First you shoot the left side (from the right pavement), then the right side (from the left pavement). There is nothing wrong with that, that's how I get the full experience. Thankfully, in some rare occasions, this actually happens, :) .

I love your videos. London is so vacant of life. I have never seen it so empty, it’s quite scary. Thank you so much.

15.41 what did that use to be??? a subway?????
Can I ask why you double back on yourself on your walks?
Because I like it that way, :) .
Hi Stella, it was to show more of the buildings or it depends what is up ahead.

Just like Berlin, people are walking around without masks on, and with London having the new variant I am surprised
