useful and straight to the point knowledge. this is why I keep coming to this channel keep up the great work! And a custom tune will always be better than flash for anyone debating
I just wish Cobb would fix the issue with the diverter valve control. At part throttle at like 3000 RPM or so, there is a lot of fluctuation in boost pressure which can be clearly seen in data logs. EQT supposedly has a fix for this with their tunes, but I honestly think the OTS Cobb maps would be fine by me if they could fix the diverter valve control.
@@96xMediax I had engine failure on my 2015 at 40k miles. Engine was replaced with a brand new engine and turbo in 2019 under warranty. That was my experience with a 2015. However my troubles were rare so I was told by the reps at Volkswagen of America.. still have the car. Made 325hp and 363tq with a jb4 and full bolt ons and 4 gallons of e85 but my Accessport just came in so I'll be flashing soon. When I had engine failure only mods on the car were a catless downpipe and modified stock intake and was still covered under warranty because I was not tuned.
I'm currently JB4. I really have no complaints except that I'm catless and even with the Vibrant spacer I keep getting codes for slow response. Does sneeky tune that out? It seems like sneeky is right there with any other tuner and if I were to do anything other than JB4....it would be then tuning
From your experience with the Cobb OTS stage 1 tune, what were some of the negatives? I watched your video when you gave your initial thoughts and it seemed at that time it drove relatively smooth. Did OTS tune have knocking issues?
Felt different not filming in the mk7. Thanks for watching!
Did you get the base map or pro tuner ? For sneekytune
@@yayo_mk7 pro tune

great video! keep em coming
I appreciate!
U should do a video explaining the e85 transition
This is actually one of the upcoming vids
@@JewelCity1 glad to hear it. After seeing all your racing videos im like hmmmmmmmmm 🤔 ethanol ayyyye?
Dosent cobb ap comes pre loaded with all the other maps you can flash
Cobb ots are not the best for long term. A custom tune will give much more power but also run smoother on the engine
hey man how's your Sachs Performance holding up any problems or regrets with it thanks love the videos man
It’s holding up well. I’ve been getting a lot of request about this clutch lately so I’ll be doing an in depth review about it on the next coming vids
Yes... if you've upgraded your fuel system.
Also, for my build, I waited until I found a mk7 S from 2016/17 that had 40-70k and avoided the 2015s.
What's wrong with the 2015s if you don't mind me asking

yes a custom tune like sneeky can get the CEL removed
What made you choose Sneaky Tuned over EQT/5150/Stratified
Mostly positive feedback. Im also not new to the etuning process
Cobb protune all the way. Sneeky tuned hooked me up and i wont look back
I agree. What a difference

Main issue was knocks. Cobb ots maps are notorious for this
Mrblipblop thanks for the insight!
Thoughts on Integrated Engineering?
Good company and the new v2 intake from them has become popular on mk7
so you click on a VW video thumbnail and you get a Mercedes footages.
Lmao. Ay in my defense gti was down during this video
Haha I always wanted upgrade from a cobb to a Samsung
samsung boii
I’ve heard and read nothing but bad things, about aggressive tune, engine knocks and harming the engine.
not if you choose a good tuner
