One reason I like your style and page Sir, your always trying your best to get people to just get out there and do the work themselves.
What it's all about, building and doing the work. You'll have and take so much more pride in doing it yourself. It may not look or be perfect but in reality nothing is but the more work you do yourself the better and more confidence you'll have and you'll learn from your imperfections and with time, you'll be the guy everyone comes to for help or guidance.

I remember back in 93' or 94' my buddy had a used car lot in Ft. Lauderdale,Florida. He painted his square body Gun Metal Grey Metallic. I was in love. I'd never seen a metallic paint or a pearl. Brother the car looks so good brother. At least you have the balls to do it.

great video brew2l. coming from a guy who's paint jobs gets criticized by 1-5 different " professionals" who just hold a paint pen, your doing great work on paint and body. comparing any real life budget to a business budget is night and day. Dads are the best. iam hoping one of my kids will want to soak up my auto paint knowledge one day. cheers and lets keep it going.

Between brew2l , foxcast , TIP, 417, this foxbody community is amazing and inspiring to me to get out there and just dive into it . I have a long road ahead on my build but thats because ive took on more of a project than i was used to doing and im telling you that what i thought was impossible for me to achieve is not that far out of arm reach . Ive started on something and i cant wait to see the outcome and ive got my kids along for the ride ! This is amazing seeing how much work poppa t saw in this project and its special that ur able to do these things for him. My goal in life is to have 4 cars to hand down to 4 kids and also get my dad his car that he had when i was little and the car he had to
Sell to make ends meet for us all ! Im ready for it all !

Seeing this video and the reaction from Papa T was really awesome, and truthfully I can say that y’all are a lot of the reason I pursued my dreams of buying a non running fox and taking on the task to build it into the car that I want. I’ve never swapped an engine, but only one way to learn and it’s by getting out there and just doing it!

I do believe telling people they have done a good job or giving them credit for something they have worked hard on helps more than you know. I have been messing with foxbodys a long time and turned some wore out cars into some nice rides but i was always criticized and never got any kind of recognition for it so it definitely kills your drive to keep doing what you love when it seems like nobody notices. I have a 89 lx turbo car that i have built from the ground up and literally started with a hull that was about to be hauled off for scrap and never got any kind recognition for it and now the car just sits and i have no drive to even mess with it anymore so yea its definitely is a big deal to tell people when they have done a good job in my opinion because everyone needs to hear it whether they want to admit it or not.

Your dad's reaction made me so happy for you all like others have said I never had my dad react to anything I've done the way papa T did. I lost my dad in 1994 when I was 27 years old love this.
Spot on with the comments at the end. I’ll tell you I didn’t have that encouragement as a kid but always busted my butt to work harder and be better and have a lot to be thankful for. Built multiple cars from ground up all on my own including a full respray of my ‘93 in the garage. Just finished a massive house addition from foundation to roof and all the details inside all on my own. I’m no pro but I like to figure things out. It’s about getting out and trying and giving it your best no matter who tells you that you can’t do it. Now I’m bringing my kids and my dad together on a project ‘91 GT build and I’d be lying if you didn’t inspire me to to that. So Brew2l - I’m proud of you sir for doing what you’re doing. Keep it up!

If yer not careful, 🤧 yer become the "Tele Evangelist" of the Fox body and early mustang community brother !!! 😉. My dad passed on 2002, my parents had divorced when I was like 5 years old. So visitation was everything for me, to see my dad. We worked on cars, most of that time, and some of the best memories I have, is that smile on his face, after when he'd give me a box of parts, let me have at it, 😉.. then come back, be so happy at what I'd done... And yes, 🤣 sometimes, it was constructive criticism as well.. That's what made it so great, I got a the skills to do almost anything trade related from those times. Thanks 🙏 for playing yer dads reaction, it brought tears to my eyes.. Keep at it brother, it's a family affair!!!

Your car, but I think the Shelby clone is way over done, my Father and I restored a 65 coupe together in a one car garage, no power tools all done by hand, most people didn't believe us, won several trophies with it, hit a deer coming home one night, major damage, I rebuilt it but it was just not the same, I sold it when I was getting my house, wish I never got rid of it, now both the car and Dad are gone, but I still have the memories, and like 1 picture
