i totally agree that Lan Xichen is the happiest person in the story after A'Xian got resurrected.....
coz his little brother's heart got to beat again.... 16 years of loneliness and melancholy is not only hard for Lan Wangji, it was also hard for his bro coz its not easy for him to see his little brother suffer like that ....
im the eldest child in my family too, i understand the pain of seeing your family member suffer while not being able to do anything about it.
I think in Episode 42(?) where WWX and LZ flee from the palace and they get surrounded, Lan XiChen has such a sweet body language. He's worried when they're caught and WWX has to unmask. He doesn't say anything, but you can clearly see in his face how worried he is that his brother either gets pulled into a conflict or get forced into another separation (which might simply be too much to bear).
Agree. I also think that's one of the biggest reasons he helps A'Xian because he knows that if Wangji loses him a second time, it might push him over the edge and he might lose his brother forever.
...in the drama yeah but in the novel he even gets angry and tells wei ying that he was lan wangjis greatest mistake. He might be the most relieved that his brother could move on. But happy...is...a bit... wrongly worded
@@LilyUnicorn well my interpretation on that part was LXC was disappointed with WWX coz he doesnt seem to realise how deep LWJs love & care for him..... I didnt see the anger for me it was just an outburst becoz WWX was so freaking dense & as a big bro it hurts to see his little brother not understood by the love of his life
@@LilyUnicorn I do remember him saying that at some point out of worry for his brother. Whom he's seen suffering like a dog for years to then be faced with a returned WeiYing who doesn't even get it X'DDDD But in the end he is protective and acceptinng of them and knows WeiYings potential to set his brother free, the way I see it.

ok I said this once, I’ll say it again. LAN XICHEN’S ACTORS VOICE IS SO SOOTHING AND SOFT
Tbh, I didn't expect that they would be able to pull it off the same as with the novel but after watching the drama, it really exceeded my expectations. They even added plots that answered some of the mysteries left in the completed novel. Everything made sense here. Sometimes, during the drama, I would pick scenes that were added that isn't in the novel and it makes me go "ah, so that explains it!" They added supporting moments that stands with the essential plot without compromising it. I'm so amazed and satisfied. The scriptwriter did so well. They really did a good job with the casts, production, and settings. I applaud everyone for a job well done. Although, they cannot disclose the two MC's as lovers (in the novel and surely in the drama) the chemistry is on-point. I hope everyone will support this drama with its cast alongside its novel, donghua, manhua, and anime.

one drama that has everything. so good direction, cinematography, good looking casting, everything. mostly all character played their role so well, i love them all. cant move on from the drama after so many months........ thats why rewatching the drama, behind the scenes, their interviews, concerts, fan meetings........ lastly Zhan Ge Wo Ai ni, can stare at your face nd your smile till death.

When I saw the behind the scenes fancams last year I didn't really have any expectations, specially when they said that it's going to only be loosely based on the novel but when the first trailer came out I was genuinely shocked because I didn't expect it. After watching it you can really see that they really put some extra effort in everything, starting from the costumes up to the actors. The actors know their characters well and you can see that in their acting. The bgm are really great too and suits the scene where it's played. The script was well written because even though this is the 3rd adaptation of MDZS, it was still able to pull the audiences to the story and make them cry and laugh.

What a great interview! It's so nice to see the actors talk about their characters in detail. The actor of Xiao Xingchen would absolutely kill it as an evil character. He was stunning as the righteous Xiao Xingchen, with such grace and natural presence, but don't forget that he actually played Xue Yang for a while. That scene was my favourite interpretation of our beloved villain in the whole drama. I wouldn't want to see Jin Guanyang switched out because his actor was perfectly cast imo, but I do believe that Xiao Xingchen's actor would have made a really interesting interpretation of the role had he been cast as him instead.
