No they didn't, it's the Sims 4 it was too much to expect. If Sutff packs were still a thing we would probably have had a "my first party" SP like the first pet stuff
I always thought that the glimmerbrook house was someone's awful idea, as a nod to Harry Potter & walking through walls. I'm sure they did it on purpose. I'm also annoyed by it. 1 thing I personally hate is that they still haven't updated all of the public playgrounds to include toddler equipment. I've been expecting an update since "Toddler Stuff" came out.
Something I hate is when you’re doing the science career in the game, you have to use that one item to create potions. Well, if you have Discover University and click “tinker” or “experiment” with that item, every single second you get robotic parts and it’s so annoying. I’m trying to complete the NSB challenge so I have to do the scientist career and this annoying thing is driving me crazy
I wish that when my Sims write a book it would appear in the buy menu or in bookshelves at libraries. Seems sad to write a bestseller only to be forgotten later..
I have removed a ceiling from the basement and didn't have grass, I had a lovely view all the way up and down. I have also do it external from the house as well as making a huge staircase from as fair up as I can go, to the absolutely bottom could go. You have to create a separate room, remove ceiling and then remove floor above from the next floor up. It does work. I have done it so many times
One thing i noticed with the events is that 'Dancy Party' event image has plumbobs and the group icon visible on the sims that are on the dance floor but in the other events you cant see the plumbobs or group icons. Just shows that EA really don't pay attention to what they're doing sometimes 😐. And for the wedding stories pack, the white shirt with the floral tie has **3** color swatches but makes ABSOLUTELY NO DIFFERENCE in the color or pattern of the shirt or makes barely a difference in the overall color..
There's literally aspirations around collecting and adventuring so it would be so cool if your adventurers could send stuff to the museum so there more to look at
I just thought of something else I hate!!! Why don’t spellcasters autonomously use spells 😭 My spellcaster can LITERALLY SUMMON FOOD yet when they were hungry decided to barbecue instead??? Also they choose to bath/shower instead of the scruberoo spell… what’s the point of learning the spells then 😭
The styled looks in CAS I think is such a genius idea, however, they did not make good use of that feature’s potential. Like I have always wished I could save outfits I created and they would show up in the styled looks for two reasons: 1) future use when I’m lazy and just wanna make a sim quickly and 2) imagine if newly spawned townies got a random outfit from your styled looks instead of randomizing pure chaos outfits
My pet peeve is when items in b/b don't show up when you search for them because they're named 'Princess Cordelia's Porcelain Shit Throne' instead of 'Toilet' and the description is just full of lore
Then the rest of the house should've been based on that style, otherwise it just doesn't make sense. But then again, it's not the first time the sims team has forgot things in their builds, there's a whole get famous mansion with 5 bathrooms or something and not a single toilet..
A thing that annoys me so much when I play the Sims 4 is whenever I visit a bar or a restaurant (or actually any other lot which isn‘t residential) all the NPC Sims are wearing these stupid paper bags from Eco Livestyle over their head and it annoys me so much since I can’t see anybody and I don‘t know how to turn it off!!!
The scenario/holiday check list popping back up every time you switch Sim in a household. Yes, I know my strict old grandma really wants to give a garden gnome a present, but I don’t need to see it every time I switch over to another sim in the same household. I closed it 50 times now, please, Sims. I can open it up myself again if I forgot my goal, I swear. Pinky promise.
The other thing about the Dua Lipa hair on kids: it floats in the air. Haven't play sims for over a month, i really hope they finally fixed it (but I don't have much hope)
1. I hate that we have juicefizzing instead of nectar making and wineries. 2. I hate that there's no active kindergarden you could build in your own home. 3. I hate that teenagers look too similar to adults. 4. I hate that supernatural sims use their damn idle animation every 5-10 seconds. 5. I hate that we can't make flour and sugar and have to buy it. 6. I hate that cottage living upgrades are tied to rng quest rewards and each upgrade costs 2-6 rng items. 7. I hate that we only have 5-6 lots in the best worlds and we can't place extra lots like in the sims 3. 8. I hate that we haven't gotten fairies yet. 9. I hate that wood colored swatches down cross-match between packs. 10. I hate that there's indoor snow in the fashion district karaoke bar because it's not recognized as an indoor area. 11. I hate that food spoils before you wrap up events. 12. I hate that your sims pass out after just 1 day of sleep depravation.
For 14: u can remove the grass by clicking on the basement room, going back up to the first floor, and clicking on the yellow gold rimmed basement room
I love your videos, they're honestly the best and they make my days better, so thank you!😊 One random thing that I hate is the main menu with all its news and ads that I really don't care about. All I want is to play the game in peace. I also hate the fact that there is no dark theme option.
I hope you make a video with some of the small things that your viewers hate. It would be interesting to see what bugs people out there, and that might not be among your pet peeves (or that you haven't noticed). Here's mine. Building styles. You can use the filters in the build/buy mode in order to only see items matching one style. Here's the BUT, several BUTs in fact : - there's usually a few NEW styles per DLC, and then they're never updated again ; - they're not full sets ! Some will have big and small windows, some only small windows, for instance ; - if you are building/renovating something, and you've already placed, say, a door. Now you want to find the windows in the matching style, of course, but it turns out YOU CANNOT REVERSE ENGINEER IT. You can't find what style an item is part of. You have to enable the filters one by one until you find your door, and that'll mean you've now finally found the right style with the matching windows. I can't begin to tell you how nuts it drives me. Why implement a thing noone will use ? Because the consequence is, noone uses it.
Maybe he mentioned this in one of his previous videos, but what about the ugly eyelashes that look like eyeliner and you can't get rid of them? :( (and I laughed about the spa chairs - a very detail-oriented observing :D)
bc then you'd immediately see how bad gameplay is :/ They want to start you off with one of the best parts of the game and they know CAS and building is all they have.
@@papayapapaya4024 yes. they know full well people are exhausted creating a whole family of sims with their personality + outfit so about the time you're in live mode you close the game and don't see how bland the gameplay is

For me, the random thing I really dislike is that how some Retro Fit kit tops are in cold weather category. When I think of cold weather, I think of winter, so I see no reason to have some body exposed. Well, it's just because I live in colder climates...
I was trying to make this sound cooler then it is but screw it- I created myself, my partner + the kiddo in the Sims 4 game (as well as our house) because that's what you do in the Sims games. My partner walks into the upstairs bathroom and pranks the toilet. Previously, I had been watching (and trying to deflect) him from pranking the other toilets in the house. This time I thought 'just desserts' might be the right play- so when he needed to pee I had him use that same toilet he pranked. Long story made longer- he died laughing. (And that's when I found the mod where you can block certain traits!)
I really hate when Sims prank the toilet of their own house, if I know who did it I normally make them use the bathroom so that they fall in their own prank.
I believe clothes should have to be purchased as well. I think in the initial create a sim, obviously not but once in live mode, to get new clothes you should need to shop either online or at a store or makeover salon. It would give purpose to game play
What!! I did not know you could woohoo in the lighthouse that is If I got it right in Brindleton bay! I'm so going to test that. I have beem playing this tragick game since launch...well I quess theres always something new to learn😅
I always have an issue with deleting floors around staircases. It’ll delete my entire floor upstairs or it spawns back. It was so much easier to have open staircases in previous games because I could delete single floor pieces.
Beginning in CAS was the first huge let down for me, and right away when I played Sims 4 for the first time. In Sims 3 I loved to just choose an existing household to play with. I hate creating Sims in CAS and I hate that sims 4 forces me to do it every single time I want to play with a new family.
Number 16- Random Townie Outfits 😅😅😅 OMG, so much truth there! I call the Townies Fashion Victims. Eye Twitchingly bad clothing combos have been a thorn in my side since I played Sims2, but Sims 4 takes it to a whole other level because of the accessories CAS can generate.
I just noticed that in toddler (boy) swimwear some of the pre made outfits are shown differently than what’s actually put on your sim toddler eg wings and cute hats
Everything here, in your previous video, plus a few more all equally frustrating; non-playable pets(thank goodness that mod works), no cars, and no way tho customize clothes, hair, skin, and objects the way you could in the Sims 3. I got this game when it was first released in 2014 and it had fewer features than Sims 1.
And don't forget about random career outfits. I don't think I could ever play without mccc, I just had a sim reach level 8 of the author career and her career outfit was a blue swimsuit, bunch of piercings, fedora, sport socks and ankle boots... I wasn't even surprised tbh. And this is something they "fixed" not too long ago. I guess it didn't work or the problem is just back, like often happens.
It’s so sad that the Sims 2 and the Sims 3 were so much better than the Sims four, they put so much thought into everything, and the whole world felt interactive(like you could explore it) , this is unacceptable. There is no reason for the game to be so glitchy so boring, so bland, the lack of consequences, it seems like a water down kids game and they suck the life out of it. Maxis, please please please just combine the Sims two in the Sims three and create the Sims five and we will be happy I swear.
Something I find very annoying and it can be time consuming is the friends page. Say I want to browse their sims or builds. I choose one but it's not to my taste. I can't just go back and choose another one. I literally have to go through the entire process of getting back to their profile. In the end I just copy their name on the main gallery.
you can actually delete the floor of basements. its just really difficult. you have to select the basement and then click delete ceiling + delete the floor of the ground level
The thing the annoys me the most about this game is the fact that there are a whole bunch of random bugs and they don’t always get fixed. Whenever they fix old bugs, it’s not uncommon for new bugs to pop up and some bugs stick around for a weirdly long time. You think that an 8 year old game which has had constant support for this long would be less glitchy but apparently not.
I wouldn’t mind starting out in CAS as much if they would let me save!!! 😭😭 you spend hours on a sim and the story but can’t save anything until you place them and sometimes i’m not finished lmao
Easy way to live in vacation worlds: 1. Enter edit the world mode, go to Selvadorada/Granite Falls 2. Choose the house 3. Enter it and mark it as haunted house instead of rental. Congratulations, now you can enjoy living in South America jungle or the forest if haunted house doesn't spook you ;)
I feel like it would be nice if they gave us the option, not everyone actually plays the game or wants to play with premades, sad but true...but I think it would be nice if when you started a save it said give you the option to create a new family or play with a current npc home
You getting lag is relatable. My mods are off right now cause they all broke and I am just too damn lazy to deal with it so I'm playing an alt save with no mods on, and with NO MODS I get lag spikes like that. Ex-frickin-cuse me, game
The toilet part made me laugh so hard, in University my sim was living in one of the dorms and I thought it was super odd that the toilets kept breaking so damn often, thought it was a glitch or my game was broken, turns out it was just pranks, but since I'd never stopped to watch the animation of the toilet prank actually happening to a sim, I didnt know it breaks the whole friggen toilet lmfao 🤣🤣
I would like to have ladders that aren't clunky with the big rails, and be able to have trapdoors. I wanted to build a cabin with a basement under a trapdoor hidden under a rug but it's not possible
I feel like the museums would be cool if they had like exclusive paintings and items. Why would I go to a museum to see a sculpture I can buy in BB and put in my garden?
I _HATE_ when other sims prank my toilet. I don’t even like inviting anyone over because I had my sim’s daughter come over once and _she bloody pranked the toilet!_ Like, that’s your mom’s toilet girlie!
Quick question: Does anyone else experience a bug where in the list that shows the remaining days till the Sims birthday is working backwards? Like, for example my young adult´s next lifestage is shown to be child, my teens lifestage shows adult at the end (NOT young adult, adult!!). When I move my mouse over the symbols they still show the correct lifestage, it´s only the symbol that is bugged. Does this happen to anyone else? (Also, excuse my english, it´s not my naitve language xd)
Mine ageing is glitched too exempt my life span days are all the same I’m trying to a legacy challenge but I only want it on shor life span but no matter what lifespan I put it on it’s the same amount of days as normal lifespan would be and it’s very annoying

The only time I ever go to museums in the sims is for my klepto sim to steal the most random item
I have done it so many times
thanks for sharing, its nice to know!
i think it works if the build is on a “platform” like elevated of the ground, but if you have a build that is ground level you’ll get the grass
@@noahkirschtein8169 I have no platform, and I don't have grass
i will sit on the grass. gracias...
Sims prank themselves... Wasn't sims 4 about... smarter sims? I think they lied XD they just got a 'smartphone'.. the sims themselves became dumb :')
" So smart it's weird "
More like:
" So dumb it's weird "
Sims pranking their own toilet drives me mad. MAD!!!!
Yes, i just bought the Genius GeekO-Matic-Vision Plasmatron Pro 4000 for 13,555 Simoleons.
Try and guess what it is...
I live in the southern US. There are many old houses here with random staircases leading to nowhere. It might have been intentional.
Then the rest of the house should've been based on that style, otherwise it just doesn't make sense. But then again, it's not the first time the sims team has forgot things in their builds, there's a whole get famous mansion with 5 bathrooms or something and not a single toilet..
@@Stixxi I mean, there's no specific style of house I was referring to... Just some houses have random stairs. They're not all the same.
@@kittee6409 ah, yeah I know what you mean. But usually the houses are at least a little bit similar, right?
the type of videos where he speaks facts LOVE IT
A thing that annoys me so much when I play the Sims 4 is whenever I visit a bar or a restaurant (or actually any other lot which isn‘t residential) all the NPC Sims are wearing these stupid paper bags from Eco Livestyle over their head and it annoys me so much since I can’t see anybody and I don‘t know how to turn it off!!!
it’s because that’s what they voted on in the eco life board, i don’t think it’s the same in every city
everybody gangsta 'til everyone wears a paper bag
So Lucky sims4 are smarter then all previous sims. (Sarcasm on the toilet prank). 🤣🤣🤣
The only times I go to a museum is to look at 3 paintings for the aspiration. Would've been so cool if HSY came with field trips!
For 14: u can remove the grass by clicking on the basement room, going back up to the first floor, and clicking on the yellow gold rimmed basement room
thank u this is what I was thinken too like when James turner made a entire open basement home
I love your videos, they're honestly the best and they make my days better, so thank you!😊
One random thing that I hate is the main menu with all its news and ads that I really don't care about.
Here's the BUT, several BUTs in fact :
- there's usually a few NEW styles per DLC, and then they're never updated again ;
- they're not full sets ! Some will have big and small windows, some only small windows, for instance ;
- if you are building/renovating something, and you've already placed, say, a door.
What I’ve learnt…. Sims 3 is superior 🥲
I feel like sims 4 is similar to sims free play
Maybe he mentioned this in one of his previous videos, but what about the ugly eyelashes that look like eyeliner and you can't get rid of them? :(
(and I laughed about the spa chairs - a very detail-oriented observing :D)
sorry for the late reply but there is a mod for removing the ea eyelashes
He did, his last vid talked about the cardboard eyelashes...
i so agree with the first one. why can't i start with any premades right away
bc then you'd immediately see how bad gameplay is :/ They want to start you off with one of the best parts of the game and they know CAS and building is all they have.
@@papayapapaya4024 yes. they know full well people are exhausted creating a whole family of sims with their personality + outfit so about the time you're in live mode you close the game and don't see how bland the gameplay is
@@eloeden2056 this is so true, sometimes i get excited to play the sims again. i make a sim, build a house and then i realize there is nothing amusing to do except get a job, find a man and have 6 children :I
@@omenapiiras totally
Having to enter CAS every time you start a new game is the most maddening thing ever.
NO, I do not want to make a Sim. I want to play as The Goths or build a house!
For me, the random thing I really dislike is that how some Retro Fit kit tops are in cold weather category. When I think of cold weather, I think of winter, so I see no reason to have some body exposed.
Well, it's just because I live in colder climates...
It fills my heart with joy whenever I see a popular simmer who doesn’t have the Sims 4 Journey to Batuu
I hate how you can’t make your sim 1 an occult.. you have to add another sim to make them occult. Unless if I’m doing something wrong.
I’m sick of them giving the kids the same exact hairstyles as the adults rather than creating something new for kids.
Number 16- Random Townie Outfits 😅😅😅 OMG, so much truth there! I call the Townies Fashion Victims. Eye Twitchingly bad clothing combos have been a thorn in my side since I played Sims2, but Sims 4 takes it to a whole other level because of the accessories CAS can generate.
still haven't fixed the toddler walking animation & i absolutely hate it😭 they look so stupid & glitched out. Deffo sticking to sims 2/3
The pranking toilet is a deal breaker, if my sims partner is into those pranks, the break up is in the horizon. 👋🏻😌
I got this game when it was first released in 2014 and it had fewer features than Sims 1.
that hottub was made for 20th anniversary of sims and you couldn;t use it unless u have Patio stuff pack, which is even more saddest xD
😭😭
😂😂
#4 wedding stories 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Nothing else was said yet I was cackling 😂
I truly love your videos. Your personality is to die for as well as your level of shade. Thank you.
Also random thing I hate that one rug that has the black box on it... I thought it was broken cc for the longest time 🤦🏻♀️
starting in cas is the most annoying. i used to play with preexisting households more often than ones i made myself when i played ts3
Some of this stuff I never thought about but now they will always bother me.
The thing the annoys me the most about this game is the fact that there are a whole bunch of random bugs and they don’t always get fixed. Whenever they fix old bugs, it’s not uncommon for new bugs to pop up and some bugs stick around for a weirdly long time. You think that an 8 year old game which has had constant support for this long would be less glitchy but apparently not.
i remember the first time i went to that house and thinking i must've done something by accident that deleted the door, but no, it's just not there
Yay bringing out the content! Keep it up! 🌞
To be fair, I have fallen for many of my own pranks trying to prank my partner. I forget things way too easily
me: Pranks the toilet
My Sim: Time to take a pi---
the toilet: BREAKS
I wouldn’t mind starting out in CAS as much if they would let me save!!! 😭😭 you spend hours on a sim and the story but can’t save anything until you place them and sometimes i’m not finished lmao
the fact that you have to make cold and hot weather outfits in base game when you have to purchase seasons for them to be relevant
I was changing around some of the apartments and there were parts of walls left unpainted...
That one couch thumbnail from the Industrial Kit. It's even worse than those chairs
Easy way to live in vacation worlds:
1. Enter edit the world mode, go to Selvadorada/Granite Falls
2. Choose the house
I'm glad you brought up curved walls. I REALLY hope they fix them...
I actually changed a museum from the base game to an exhibition about princess cordelia
i strongly dislike the fact that there's barely any medium wall height doors that dont have some part of it made out of glass
I actually love My Wedding Stories... for the tea set and some new cakes 😀
Let the people who made the glimmerbrook be stupid it isn't their fault
i’m genuinely obsessed with all your videos
I feel like the museums would be cool if they had like exclusive paintings and items. Why would I go to a museum to see a sculpture I can buy in BB and put in my garden?
What I love in the Sims4 is the Mods and CC's creators ! ❤🤣
I _HATE_ when other sims prank my toilet. I don’t even like inviting anyone over because I had my sim’s daughter come over once and _she bloody pranked the toilet!_ Like, that’s your mom’s toilet girlie!
vacation worlds are nice to be locked, but this worked in sims 2, and 3, its not needed in sims 4 really.
I need an Option in build and buy mode where I can switch out the seasons just like I can switch the day times 🙄🙄🙄
“And then I torture Eliza” SUBSCRIBEDDDDDDD😂😂😂
I have been playing the sims since the sims 2 I believe and I’ve never played with a household that I did not create 🫢
"And then I can torture Eliza I mean Then i can play with the pancake household" -Satchonsims 2022
Also how tf am I not subscribed when I constantly watch your videos?? You show up so often I figured I was 😂 Oh well I am now, my bad💅
