  • In this video, I teach and play through the solo mode of Life of the Amazonia by Jamie Bloom and Bad Comet Games. In Life of the Amazonia, you are trying to build out a rainforest and gather animals into it. In the solo mode, you play one of several scenarios that have different setups and scoring goals.

I've had this set up on my table for about 3 weeks but hadn't had time to read the rulebook clear though to learn it. Decided to watch your video, and it was so fantastic that I am ready to head to the table now!! Thanks so much for the playthrough--fabulous!

    Great play-through. Gotta a soft-spot for bag-builders.

Need my online shops to get this one back in stock. Amazon and B&N Brick and mortar have it as full MSRP, so waiting for it to restock online to bring the cost down....

This game looks fun to play but I have little interest in adding it to my collection - it doesn't really fill any gaps or improve on anything I already own. But I came here and watched the playthrough because I truly enjoy your videos, Daniel. Please keep up the great work! I'm looking forward to your continued success.

Thank you for your kind words! I totally get it. It has some interesting mechanics, and it is fun, but yeah, plenty of games in the collection.

Love the art work and it looks interesting. Had similar thoughts to the previois comment as it reminds me of Earth but as a bag builder. I like earth & nature themed games when the art work is appealing so considering adding to my list. Would you recommend this as a 1st bag builder for my collection?

I don't own a lot of bag builders. I think Orleans does it best, then Resurgence (although less bag building), and then this one. Since you enjoy the theme, I'd recommend it over the others. Although, be aware of the cost of the game. They put a lot of money into the animeeples, but less into the cardboard quality. I'm quite disappointed in the cardboard thickness all around.

Not at all. I disliked earth enough to get rid of my copy after 2 plays and I looooove this one. This is more Cascadia with bag building than earth.

@lajeit thanks for that input. This game looks awesome & I think would compliment my growing collection.

i never claim to be an origami master..i like the game its very interesting but for the 100$ price tag id rather the boat and other pieces to just be wooden
