I like the exhaust pipe kicking out the gas tank plate too! Love how you take the Jeep to the garage and then to the trail to really show us how it performs. Awesome!!
Have fun at the TrailtoSEMA!! Can’t wait to see your videos!!! ❤️🐞
Thank you!
I'm glad someone else sees how useful that rustoleum bedliner is. Dries in minutes, covers pretty much anything, and doesn't look half bad. Also, really glad to get a good video on coils and coilovers. I've been looking into switching to coilovers for a while, but was always lost about what I needed or even where to start with the process. I've also always wondered what those ridiculous shocks were for and now I know.
Cool videos. Good info, thanks.
I grew up in Vegas area and been using Adams driveshaft for so many years. When I owned a business building trucks, Later I became a Mac tool guy and Adams was one of my stops. Top quality people with best gear. Never ripped people off on parts or repairs in house. The only place I will ever use for driveline, gearing, etc. Many companies can have well designed parts- but honesty and integrity are more rare- they have it all.
That thing sounds like a tank, just crawling across everything like it wasn't there!
If my TJ wasn't my daily driver I would love to build it similar to yours. You do great work and have an awesome Jeep.
Thank you buddy! Its definitely not a daily driver!
When you charge your bumps or your shocks it is always a good idea to fully compress them and then fill for a more precise pressurization.
i just picked up a 1980 CJ7 that I'm turning into a rock crawler. Im from Washington, but now I live in Nevada. I just want to say that I love your videos and your TJ looks bad ass! Happy Jeeping!!
Thanks for watching! I love Nevada
Definitely digging the new look. Doesn’t look so tall and tippy. Nice work bro!!! 😎🤘
The improvements to the jeep were much needed and really rad. Jeep looks great man!
Maaaan you rock! I enjoy your videos so much, I'm about to resurect my XJ project that's been rotting for the past year, all because you make me crave the fab and the wheeling. Those slow-mo tire shots were NUTS and your videos are getting better and better. Can't wait to see how TTS will be for you!
Congrats on the build. Nice, simple and original.
Thanks so much man! Lots of work! Good luck with your xj project!
Great video! I would love to do a stretch similar to this on my TJ. Great inspiration and always love how detailed you are when trying to explain every piece of your builds. Keep up the great work.
Thank you!
Fairly new to your channel but love your editing style and format. Your humble appreciation for your sponsors is inspiring for someone who is thinking of starting a channel. My life is full of all kinds of adventures and I think I could find a niche.
Thanks man! Do it! Its alot of work but you'll have fun 👍
Almost every paintball store or paintball field will fill that 3000 psi powertank/paintball tank you're using to tune the bumpstops. That is for sure a paintball tank. Should be like $3 - $5 to fill.
Really? I thought paintball guns used co2. But I don't know anything about paintball lol. I'll try a paint ball store next
@@DirtLifestyle yeah, old school paintball gun use co2, anything made after like 2000 uses compressed air/nitrogen. The real nice tanks will do 4500 PSI too
Thanks for the heads up about Adams Driveshafts. Needed one for my CJ and got one on order.
Log jam just got changed up two weeks ago was out there with Franz and roger at a work party helping mix things up
I ws once told that in German, when i and e are together, you pronounce the second one long. So Bilstein would be pronounced "bill stine" unless the owner says it differently. Has worked fof me for years. 😁
I work with Germans and they say “Bil-sh-tine”
This ain’t Germany…. Bill-Steen all the way
Really amazing what upgrading your suspension does for your ability to wheel!!! My wife just shakes her head and thinks I’m an idiot. Totally impressed with your TJ build and your fabrication skills. One other thing, the exhaust coming through the rear plate is freaking awesome! Nice touch.
Hell yeah brother! I appreciate the kind words!
Fuel tank and skid are killer on this build: great work man keep it up
Thanks buddy!
I drive around that area frequently, I always hope someday I’d be seeing your Jeep trailered on the freeway.
Your Jeep is the Jeep my jeep wants to Jeep in the Jeep future. But seriously I absolutely love all the self made gear. You have inspired me to try and make a new front chin skid plate for my JKUR
Thanks man! I'm glad you're finding some inspiration from the videos!
Love this channel. I love that you show us how it is done and walk through the pluses and minuses. Plus I get nostalgic for the PNW watching your wheeling clips (I grew up in Puyallup).
Thanks man! I'm in the Graham spanaway area. I'm from south hill 🤘
@@DirtLifestyle dang. I went to Rogers and lived in South Hill. My grandparents lived in Graham and my cousins in Spanaway. Small world
Welcome to the stretched jeep club. Hopefully I see you at KOH this year. I'll show you the good trails and make sure you don't get lost.
Thanks! Not sure about KOH this year. I have a pretty big opportunity in January. If everything pans out I'll be working on a pretty special project with some really cool folks! But spending some time on the good trails instead of lost sounds great! 😂
@@DirtLifestyle Oh nice! sounds like some really great fun (and content)! In your shoes, I would do that as well. Well you went to KOH last year, so you know what it's about. Do a subscriber run, let's wheel.
Those sweet sweet edits! Not only was this informative, but completely badass! Keep up the good work and keep killing it!
Thanks so much man 👍 lots of work here
Yes the exhaust set up looks amazing and should not be able to have any negative results
🤘 thanks bud
Great video!
Hi I live in BC. Love the vids. Great quality. Love the jeep you have. Alot of great parts on it. I have done a build on a JKU. Currently buying an LJ 40's on tons.
Man you have done such an amazing job on your Jeep, the brand, the channel. Man I love watching your videos I started with bleepin Jeep and always thought dude nates stuff is more understandable and he seems professional, the other guys are great and I love the xj stuff I learn because that’s why I have but honestly your content is amazing! Keep it up and have a great time man
Thanks so much for the big compliment buddy 👍. Happy to have you as a sub
I absolutely have found my favorite Jeep build channel here. You have a fan here. Jeep on.
Thanks!
I recently saw a TJ on currie 60's, LS swap, coilover rears and leaf springs up front.... They cut off the coil set up and put leaves on it. Blew my mind.
A guy in our group has a 4runner with a spring over front and coiled rear. Works great.
Man that stance 🤤 love the wheelin footage too. I really want to upgrade my camera setup. Safe travels man
Thanks buddy 👍
Awesome to finally see it back on the trails man!
Videos are getting better and better, love the b-roll
Thank you very much! I'm putting in a ton of work to make the best video possible 👍
I Love this channel.
Nate is spot on at all kinds of things.
Dude all that work really paid off, it was just rinsing over those obstacles like they weren't even there :)
Thank you! It's awesome!
Another great video, I appreciate how much info you share. Since you asked, the pronunciation is Bilstine, not Bilsteen. In German, the second vowel is the sound that's used.
I too have been using Adams driveshaft and I'm very impressed. I called Kevin at Adams driveshaft today and let him know that all rigs with Adams driveshafts did not break it hoodoo this weekend.
excellent way of explaining triple bypass shocks!
dont read into it too much but i binge watched all your videos and watch alot of fab and jeep stuff and youtube never showed me this upload at all.. or the accidental one you made today and ive refreshed my recommended and from subscriptions a few times.. i seen you text post and came to the channel to find not 1 but 2 unviewed videos
Thanks for the heads up! I think something is going on with a algorithm. I've angered it in some way lol
Nate, your videos are not just informative but also entertaining. Keep up the great work!
You never disappoint Nate! Good to see you finally get to enjoy the fruits of your labor 😊 can wait for the SEMA trail content!
Thanks man! 👍
Just a helpful piece of info if your near a paintball shop they fill those nitrogen tanks.. because they either use co2 or Nitrogen for paintball and now a days mainly nitrogen
Thanks again Nate. Your B-Roll is getting really good too. You gotta come north lad, the BC Four Wheel Drive Association would dig on dragging you through our trails. Take a look at Hut Lake in Squamish, you would like it.
Thanks brother! I would love that!
you have answered so many questions I have had to upgrade my 95 Tacoma. Thanks brother!
Awesome man! I'm happy to help 👊
I really dig your TJ. It's a well thought out, sensible build.
Thanks man!
Nice sweatshirt, I'm a UA Local 464 apprentice and absolutely love it!
Thanks man!
Sooooo nice to see Bilstein reservoir coils (coilovers) in the video pic for an offroad channel!!! Been putting them on VW's for 2 decades now and i love them. Even their regular shocks are frikin amazing.
P.s.- it's pronounced "Bill-steen"
nice to see all that work out on the trail
Very good and helpful. Thank Nate.
Sweet content and the first Jeep I would throw my own money at - I’m a new subscriber. Love the diesel !
Thanks! Happy to have you aboard!
What's under the hood. ?
I love adams drive shaft! They’re based out of my hometown and re built the rear end and drove shaft on my pickup!
loved the build nate thanks man....i love all your stuff keep it coming
Thanks!
Adams front and rear on my rig, love them!
That Jeep is so Bad! Awesome work. Such a great video! Thank you!
I'd be willing to bet you could put that TJ on some Street wheels and tires like some 20 inch for 22in Wheels with low pro street tires and wrench those coils down and stiffen up the reservoirs and that thing would probably handle really good! Pretty light and flat torque curve.
Awesome! Keep up the work I'm planning on solid axle swapping my 4runner and go coilsprung front on radius arms all on a dana 44. This video gave me some motivation so for that thank you!
Thanks man! Nice! Happy to give you some motivation! Sounds like a fun project 🤘
Super excited to see you hitting the trails to Sema
Me too!
You are a natural born teacher, well done 👍🏻
First video of yours I've seen, and i loved the whole thing. Great quality production value, and lots of good information. Thanks a bunch for sharing man, also dreaming of a diesel jeep in my future.
Great build especially the diesel. So badazz
Thanks man 🤘
I thought i wouldnt like the look without a tire carrier.. But damn it looks so badass.. Glad it all came together so well! Also love how the tail pipe looks.. 🤘
Thanks man!
Adams Driveshafts is the whip and I bought a 8.8 yoke too.
I run locked off-road bumps in the front of my Jeep too. They are bulletproof
The exhaust note seems a lot different. You don't hear the turbo spool/whistle as much.
Best looking and performing jeep that I have seen, excellent.
The rear wheel location will provide a great departure angle.
Mike Hoffman I believe if you go over 90° departure angle, It means you’re a boss (King, the winner, unstoppable)
Mike absolutely lol. And Evan, I'm not sure if I'm the king... but king dirtlifestyle Nate does have a ring to it lol
Another great video!!!! Love to see one of limiting straps or bumps!!! Come to Colorado sometime!!!
Man, you are absolutely killing it. You improved so much with your video skills since your days with bleepin jeep. It is way, way, way, way harder than it looks to do what you are doing. I hope someday I will be invited to trail to SEMA! Have fun.
Thanks so much man! Lots of work going into my editing and photography. Very happy to see someone noticed lol
Wow Nate your Heep turned out awesome !! Good shake down run 👍
Thanks!
That Jeep is a thing of beauty!
Adam's shafts are a good old brand. Good sponsor
This seems like a pretty big channel and keeps growing! Thanks for all the great content, keep it coming man!🤙
Thanks!
Good night that videography in the end was creamy! Wow I love your stuff!
Thank you!
MR. PICKLE
I too like the look of the exhaust port !!! I think you did a HELL of a job with your TJ
like the way it sits also,,the rear tires set back of the rear of the tub,, just looks TOUGH!!!
like the info on the shocks also
Well let me get to the point>>>> it looks like you need another project soooo I would like to be the first to
volunteer my 2005 TJ for the job!!!
keep up the videos and great information
Thanks man! I agree, the new look is awesome! And lol strick policy, I only work on my junk 👍
Still trying to figure out the folks giving your vidz the thumbs down???? Lovin' every episode.
Living it! Really love your welds nice burn in & flow! Whole setup on TJ is awesome! I'm jealous!
Great video. Great channel. Just what I needed. Well done! 👍
Thank you!
Makes me more excited to see what's to come!
Nate that rig looks soooo awesome!! It has to be great driving her again 🤘🏻
Thanks man! Yeah it's a completely different animal now 🤘
The beat at 3:40 had me dancin in the kitchen
UA baby, now I am an even bigger fan. LU 420 here!
Thanks brother 👍
New to your channel. Awesome content. Love the build. Really like the TDI swap, gonna do some research of my own.
Nate, you’re killing brother ! Amazing video !
Thanks buddy 👊
right on !! another great vid. ..... i didnt break anything ... yet... beat it!!!
This video is making me want to take out my credit card and order parts... Thank you
Lol dont do it!😂
That is so cool. Love the diesel man wow. Also nice explanation different shock setups.
Thank brother!
Great work man .
thanks for sharing .
Looks dope I'm only 3 min in but love it and the exhaust dump
Thanks bro!
I would be a little bit uncomfortable routing my exaust next to my gas tank so close. Running good shocks (love my Kings) will have you driving faster off road with the smooth and control added. The external bypass is nice so is a bigger shock. I am considering coil overs up front but after weighing my Bronco front rear and whole truck Bret King tuned them GREAT. Not sure about the rear I have Deavers and a strong frame to frame two tube upper mount for shock length. Coils would require space inside and tubbing in the body but ? The off roading done with well built trucks at higher speed still has surprises. Most are handled when built well but exhaust next to the gas tank and a surprise could be to much surprise. Maybe some heat wrap at the location would be a option ?
awesome cinematography in this one!!
Thank you!
Phoenix has some sick trails.
Yes they do!
Good stuff man! Glad to see it out on the trails!
Thanks! Me too!
I work for 4WP!
Love it bud. Thank you for the videos I know it takes time
Thanks!
Absolutely spectacular. Love the bass music in you video. You leave an old man wishing he was young and wealthy. Love your videos. My new crack cocaine (bad humor). Keep these videos rollin. Got a 1994 gmc sierra k1500 on 37x13.5r18 toyo mt. Getting some front shocks from bilstine. Not as complicated as yours just simple bolt ons. But very excited to see the difference on overall performance especially after this video.
Was that a park or a trail? Either way, I'm jealous. Looks like a gorgeous place to wheel. And I am loving the sound of that diesel!
Thanks man! First trail was in Liberty. It's a orv area near cle elum Washington. The second place was a park that we call Elbe. It's near the town of Elbe but I think the orv area is actually called Mt. tahoma trails. We have alot of public land up here. We are very lucky 👍
Hey Nate, i like your channel! U have a great videos, great ideas and great skills.
Thank you! Much appreciated!
Hey buddy all that stuff looks so good did a really nice job I just happened to come across your channel and started watching your very informative and seems to that you know your stuff about Wheeling pretty cool oh your exhaust looks great only one thing I would change I would put a flat cut on it straight across with your pan just looking at it on the TV man it just look like that would be the cool thing to do cheers brother keep making the videos
Well made video Nate!! Love the content!
Thank you!
The question I've always had is how do you decide what type of shocks for a heavy vehicle?
Great video again man! Bunch of good info!
Thank you!
Might do coil over on my cj7 eventually. First plan is usuing yj springs because im on a budget 😅
