But everyone is different and if there had been another crowd it could have been extremely different. I think the main problem here is that while Sweden is a bilingual country the level of knowledge about English varies a lot. My generation and younger know English quite well, but the people in the audience seem to be around mostly 40-50 and while English was taught in school during their school years as well, it wasn't in the same extent that it is now. Therefore the reason the crowd is rather quiet is more likely to be because of a language barrier than because swedes are "more quiet"

As a fellow swedish person i can tell you all that not all swedish people are like this, just the people from stockholm. I'm born and raised in Stockholm myself and this is the reason i rarely ever go into Stockholm city, the majority of the people are awful there and they get offended by almost everything. This is the reason why swedish comedians are just terrible to watch, they can't joke about anything that might be seen as offensive, so they do bits with childish humour that might be entertaining for children to watch. I get embaressed watching swedish comedians trying way to hard to please crowds with awful comedy, Sloss deserved way more appreciation for his genius bits and awesome punchlines.

They just didn't laugh out loud as much as opposed to smiling and giggling. I think it looked better from his perspective, but via RUclips, if you don't hear them, "they're not laughing" apparently
