Michele thanks for another great lesson today. I must say that I really missed your teaching. Also so pleased to hear that you are fit and well and blooming. We were all worried about you. 👍🏌⛳
RUclips pushed your videos to me only lately. I love them all. Your explanation and tips are so clear and helpful. After viewing this video, I just practiced for 10 minutes and I can now chip 99% successfully. Thank you so much.
Thanks for yet another new tip about chipping 'tempo' . There is so much engineering skills involved just to chip and land the ball at the right spot on the green for it to roll accurately near enough if not ideally straight into the hole.
Thanks Michele this has worked great for me😊As you explained it's so vital to practise tempo to get consistency - it's key for me. Every chip is different and when you only have one shot at it on the course - tempo helps me minimise the pressure👍
Congratulations for expecting baby 💖. So wonderful news! We are living at the moment here in Finland in the middle of heaps of snow, but luckily we have opportunities to practice inside halls. All the best for you and blessings Pepe
Thanks you always seem to have just the right instruction to help me. I always recognize my issue and hear and see your solution. Very helpful. Thanks for your efforts.
Tossing the ball is a great insight. I've already improved a lot from your previous chipping video and you are correct that finding that distance depends on the toss routine or how far one should toss it. Now, that I've done that, I feel that my distances are controllable within short putting distance (even almost holing it). Thank you again. 😊
Thanks for this Video! Incredible improvement of my chipping! Every video from you motivates me and helps me to improve! Looking forward to More Videos (maybe pitching? 😃😇)
Wow, so much knowledge in that lesson. The handsy thing kills a lot of us club golfers. I’m glad you emphasize rotating that front hip. Not many teachers address that. You are looking healthy mommy. Thank you.
Excellent video. The tips you gave are really good and hit home with me. I especially love the tossing a ball drill. That makes so much sense. Thank you again!!
Welcome back ….. Though we have been locked down for last 2 month here in HK …. Could you share some self training practice at home , so we we could do that at home …
It's great to have you back, we were missing you! Consistent chipping continue to be a challenge because of so many variables eg the lie, slope, green condition etc. Highly appreciate your valuable tips as usual. My question: where should be the focus through the back swing & impact - top of the ball (one dimple) or impact point on the ball? Stay well
Do you have an online golf instruction course subscription? If not, you should do it IMO? Your teaching is excellent, and I’m sure you could build a great course that us amateurs would be glad to join at a reasonable cost.
Thank you Michelle, my other question is when you have a downhill chipping thus relying on a shorter backswing, does it mean that the tempo changes then?
Thank you- Great Stuff. Question I have a 9 wood, 7,5 and 3 wood. I am learning to hit these clubs, problem is the ball placement to be consistent in the setup. Any info would help. Thanks
Hello Michelle this is Ulrike from Switzerland. I regularly watch your videos and they helped me a lot! I chipped good but all of a sudden I again produce sockets. I am now afraid of chipping and v often use the putter which is of course not the way to go. How to overcome this? Keep trying? Ah it is so difficult! Tx for a hint!
Welcome back Michelle...I have a question for you. Watching a number of your videos I notice that just before you start your backswing you turn your head slightly to the right...it seems like it might just be a triggering motion, but I wonder if it is an important aspect of the backswing?
Michelle why the inconsistency? I believe a major reason is we (certainly me) is not knowing how far is the ball going to travel. through the air and then roll. Club loft and speed are critical - along with green speed, lie break etc - but assuming flat green and 10' green speed. with the tempo you use and backswing to 9 o'clock how far does Your ball) travel? And if I replicate then mine should +/- be the same. for each club and loft the air and roll out vary eg 7 iron 1 air = 4 roll, 8 iron= 1 and 3 and so on but when it comes to the lofted clubs e.g 60o/56o/52o and W 48o is it 1 = 0.25. Is it best to use 1 or 2 clubs for all chipping and vary the backswing length whilst keeping tempo the same? My club has 2 putting greens but nothing for chipping so I use my back garden of 90' But with a greenhouse growing my wifes chillis, Garlic and lemon Grass i daren't go anywhere near it. I just need the information please. Stay well and thx for another fine lesson.
Michele, does the stiffness and weight of the shaft matter? I used to play a P from my set and it has a graphite shaft and I controlled my pitch/chip quite well, but now I use a 50 degree with True Temper steel shaft of 115 g and I lost the control I used to have. What can I do to fix this problem?
Hi Michelle I chipped pretty well. All of a sudden I shank every chip and I am afraid of chipping in a tournament! 😔. I lost my tempo and my confidence. What can I do? Thanks!
Knowing you will not be very mobile for awhile (congratulations!), how about more on putting? Particularly how to read the line better, speed and direction.
Michele thanks for another great lesson today. I must say that I really missed your teaching. Also so pleased to hear that you are fit and well and blooming. We were all worried about you. 👍🏌⛳
Thank you
Thanks Michelle……you are simply the best coach…..clear easy and simple to follow. Thanks

RUclips pushed your videos to me only lately. I love them all. Your explanation and tips are so clear and helpful. After viewing this video, I just practiced for 10 minutes and I can now chip 99% successfully. Thank you so much.

informative, basic, simple = a great video! Thank you!!
So glad to see you back and congrats again!!!!!
Thank you
Excellent lesson on maintaining the tempo of chipping. Thanks for imparting such a good lesson and it will be very successful in the game.
Thanks for yet another new tip about chipping 'tempo' . There is so much engineering skills involved just to chip and land the ball at the right spot on the green for it to roll accurately near enough if not ideally straight into the hole.
Welcome back. Hope you are doing well and taking it easy. You have no idea how much I needed this video. Thank you
Thank you

my clubs distance improve a lot after watching your video.
Thank you, Michelle.
Can you tell me, which club is best (once the chipping tempo is established please?
Thank you- Great Stuff. Question I have a 9 wood, 7,5 and 3 wood. I am learning to hit these clubs, problem is the ball placement to be consistent in the setup. Any info would help. Thanks

Had to have a refresher course on tempo on chipping.. How are you feeling these days Michele?

What club are you chipping with?

Nice video! Long time no see
Thank you
thanks 🥰
等于我要找到一个往下的感觉,包括挥杆也是,在下杆的时候做出骨盆后倾回正胯的动作,感觉是往下压而不是去想转动,这样可以吗
Hi Michelle I chipped pretty well. All of a sudden I shank every chip and I am afraid of chipping in a tournament! 😔. I lost my tempo and my confidence. What can I do? Thanks!
Simple systematic process
Thanks
Well done
Thank you
that’s true 👍
Do you use tempo with longer shots?
Grt info
👍
Knowing you will not be very mobile for awhile (congratulations!), how about more on putting? Particularly how to read the line better, speed and direction.
Good idea.. thank you
Nice video, but isn’t this more pitching than chipping?
