Thanks for not disclosing the locations of these areas. Seems as soon as a site becomes popular, people decide leave their own stupid mark. The ones least touched I have seen in the basin and Nine Mile, have always been on private property. Very cool vids!
Absolutely and couldn't agree more. It's sad seeing people destroy these old sites. I once found an old Indian Site and the guy I was hiking with wanted to tear apart the rock structures in the hope of finding an arrow head. I of course stopped him. It blew my mind that upon first finding a really cool ancient site (this guy had never seen one before) and all he could think about was tearing it apart. I've learned over the years people can be very destructive.
@@LowBudgetExploration I once showed a friend a cool slot canyon up by Ashley Gorge, and he and some buddies got drunk and knocked over several hoodoo. I'll never understand that mentality. "Hey, cool ancient art! Let's shoot at it" SMH
Excellent site, excellent video. Utes, Horses Petroglyphs obviously after 1500 to 1600. I saw some Ute petroglyphs near the start of the Delicate Arch Trail. First Ute Petro's I ever saw. Maybe Southern Utes did not make them?? Maybe northern Utes did not make them until after the horse came. The script was interesting?? There is a whole panel in central New Mexico that are in the range of 2200 to 2500 years old Aramaic. It is on the Ancient east west trail, generally followed by the B and N Railroad. The so called but sure looks like it petroglyph of the Lost Arc is on the west side of the divide at Pertified National Forest Nat PArk, or Monument. Back southeast at the Three Rivers Site on the cutoff to Texas are petroglyphs of sailing ships , unknown to the central southwest desert. But travelers from the Gulf around Texas or Mexico would have traveled that way. Do you consider the Unita Basin the eastern boundary of the Anasazi?
Aramaic!? 2000 years ago? Are you Retarded? Cleopatra and the Romans... etc? Rhe Americas were settled and colonized 500 years ago. NOT 2000 years ago. Stop being Punked by Fakers.
All the utes are one people. The government split them apart. So, please DO NOT say one tribe did this or one tribe did not do that. We were one tribe thousands of years ago!
How can I DM you. I was told this story 45 years ago by an old man that had a Native American stay with him for the winter that participated in what is pictured
I would love to hear the story. I have an email I use for the channel. It's down in the description, if not just click on my info and it should be in there. I cant post it here, it will get blocked.
Many different ages, including different ages for all the initials amongst the other petroglyphs. My initial impression is that the "script" is more recent than any of the rest of it and is done in a very different pecking style. Interesting panels. Love the music as it gives the sense of 17th century New Spain where they were we can hear the Moorish influence,
Modern petroglyphs. Native Americans still produce rock art ritually today and it can be found throughout the Southwest. Patina or desert varnish will be the clue as to the age, as well as general aesthetics. Middle Eastern music is just so wrong for this video.
Very interesting to say the least. I’d love to be in a position to explore these areas and see what I can find. I’d take pictures only along with my sketching and possible watercolors. Unfortunately, in today’s world nothing is sacred or deemed worth preserving. I’m totally in favor of severe punishment for those who destroy or otherwise deface these petroglyphs. Let them that do this vandalism learn to carve their own glyphs on the walls of their prison home. I enjoy what you have produced. Please keep at it. -OkieSketcher1949
I believe that first panel is modern. It's stylistically unlike anything I've ever seen in Utah and I've visited petroglyph sites all over the state. It also appears to not be pecked very deeply. Almost all of the others look similar to other styles I've seen. The script is interesting. It is very deeply pecked and appears to be old. I'm very curious about it. In one of the canyons that I visit, I found a symbol pecked into the rock that looks like a minors pick with a curved line above it.
Karen, thanks for the comment and providing your input concerning the petroglyphs. I would love to see the Minor's Pick you mention, if you ever wish to share with me just send me a private email. Our understanding of this site the petroglyphs are made by; Spaniards, Ute, Fremont/Desert Archaic Indians. Regarding the script; I apologize, but I am going to be a bit vague to protect the site. The script was sent to a University to be deciphered. They determined it was based on Iberian Text. They translated the text and what they determined in their translation matched perfectly with what we believe is being portrayed at the site. I wish I could say more, but our primary concern is to protect the site from looters.
Galleria, I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Thank you for watching and the comment. There is more to this site!! Perhaps, some day I will be able to elaborate more, but for now I am held to secrecy.

Peter, good question. In my experience, anything that doesn't fit "Academia's Narrative" is instantly dismissed or ignored. Script such as this has been found in locations throughout America, but especially in the American Southwest. All we can do for now is keep documenting it and bringing public attention to these ancient scripts.
If Their god was silver and gold , being just like silver and gold, a god that can't speak, can't see , can't hear , spiritually lame , spiritually blind , spiritually deaf, and spiritually dumb , it's a spiritual condition.
Not "that many herds of livestock." A single herd, with that many different owners. Because cattle are safer and happier in herds, and if you can't afford a whole herd of your own, you band together with your neighbors.
Sam, unfortunately without the ability to go back in time, it is nearly impossible to answer that question. I've read numerous journals from the mountain men, pioneers and prospectors. I would imagine their deaths were not pleasant and torture was involved. Life back then was harsh!
See Bullet holes in many Glyps never fails to Piss me off. Outlining them in Chalk does too. What the Hell is Wrong with People?

Why people look for mines is beyond me. The mines were worked until they didn't produce anymore mineral.
For the same reason a dog chases a car he has no hope of ever catching.

Thank you Noah.

Possibly chalked to make a better photo. That would throw off the ancient patina look!??????????????
Deni, thank you for the comment. Amazing observation regarding the music choice!!
The Spanish Script is telling you there is a cave containing a mission cache of iron and lead/ammunition above to the left.
Lots of glyphs here in Western Colorado. They never cease to amaze me.
You guys have some amazing glyphs, especially the area south of Jenson. Beautiful country too!!
Thanks for sharing this! Fascinating information 👍
Thanks John. I will continue to share stuff like this as much as possible. I want all people to be able to experience our rich history in Utah.
Entertain the thought that the scripts you showed us might have a connection to the "Red haired" giants, No joke.

What are the horned creature's
They look like European cattle- at least, some sort of longhorned breed.
Maybe Buffalo Bonnet Masks!
I'm thinking cattle introduced by the Spaniards.

Also at time 628. It's not cattle tracking or African, it's Spanish script.

Please do!!
Hopefully you are writing a book!
Sadly, it seems like books are dying off and being replaced by social media. Perhaps someday....

You should really look into the Anunnaki and how they spread across the world, everything starts to make sense 🤔
Justin, I also find the Anunnaki very interesting and routinely watch documentaries about them.
The back ground 🪘🎻🪗🥁 is all wrong 🤔. We don't sound like that!!
Needs more rattles, swinging whistles & striking sticks, I suppose.
LOL! Maybe that was the Berber stuff. The Burbers got around and handled desert just fine.

I'd much rather hear you talk about the story than read it with music playing. Not the type of video that will keep me watching at all.
Chose better music
