I thought the fire arrow came from the finger bearers. Because they did a similar projectile move. The first one used it against sukuna and he stopped it when he regenerated yuji's hand and the second one used it against megumi when he opened his domain. Similar to Dow yuji is getting sukuna's techniques from having his soul inside him for so long. Its similar to that with having sukunas fingers in them he got their moves.

But he has shown that every technique he uses is essentially just him refining his cursed technique into a different element. None of the explanation actually connects to the cursed technique itself. It’s more like he is creating his own technique.
Your explanation is awesome though, it explains literally the creation of any technique. You even highlight out the sheer fact that the black box itself is not special because everyone has one.
Sukuna is essentially human. He has a black box unlike an actual curse. Domains are simply constructions using cursed energy. All cursed techniques are a specific application of cursed energy. Yuta’s domain is a reflection of his soul and the domain itself is not the technique, but the new from where the technique will come.
Everything inside of the domain is constructed out of cursed energy. But techniques are just coded cursed energy. And they are accessed through language which is also connected to the prefrontal cortex, the source of negative emotion. Thus, it makes sense that Sukuna, the one who is the peak of jujutsu, who actively uses chants and binding vows (linguistic functions to enhance the effectiveness or how something may even act) as a perfect extension of his power.
Nanami didn’t want to SAY anything to Yuji prior to his death so he wouldn’t curse him. Ironically, Megumi’s father was banking on the fact that his son would have the Zenin clan’s prized technique. His dad literally cursed him, giving him an innate technique. But, Sukuna, being a “cursed, wretched” kid, was likely cursed to never be loved or something resulting in double the cursed energy of Yuta, but no technique.
Sukuna is a savant of jujutsu. He has likely figured out just how the black box works and probably created “Cleave” and “Dismantle.”
This is just where my mind went. Obviously, I could be wrong, what do you think?🤔
