My favorite part about the gentle fist Neji uses is that it's specifically designed to kill. Striking a single chakra point in the correct way can kill someone in a single strike. The 8 trigrams 64 palms technique is especially supposed to kill opponents. Naruto is extremely lucky he survived it.

If you start saying like that, then the Tsunade, Karin and Nagato or kushina don't easily di is also plot armor. If you have time to talk bs about plot armor without thinking anything, try to understand it a little better.
