Blair Underwood was such an inspiration in this role. It was so rare to see a highly educated, well-spoken, intelligent, professional, cultured and successful black man back then in entertainment. Another reason I loved LA Law.
LA Law promoted all the values and questioned real problems I can identify with. Race, homosexualism, AIDS, gender, age equality, eutanasia etc. However, on realistic level, not on snowflake level we see nowadays where problems are artificially created just to get attention.
He was like a younger Denzel. Definitely had all time great potential somewhere between a Brad Pitt and Denzel Washington. Played roles with dignity, good looks and intelligence. Very good actor that isn’t mentioned all the time. Top 20 black actor of all time imo
The ease with which he plays the race card shows he knows how to play on liberals’ guilt. Especially since it’s not necessary given his credentials and record.

mario van peebles was on the first season..
he said he interviewed Barack Obama at Harvard to prep for the role!
Barack Obama coached him for the role. He helped him research his role. Obama was 26.

Happy Birthday to Legendary Actor Blair Underwood!!
One of my favorite all time characters of the 80's
"so much for your doctrine of less is more" LMAO
Yes, know your worth. Love it.
Wot a Beauty Full first scene I Love Blairs character in this I never watched L A Law but that scene was great
Why ask … What would you be expecting in way of compensation ?…” if you have a ‘going rate’ ?
Because they want to see if he knows his worth and if he came in less than the "going rate" they would hire him at that lower salary.
I feel kind of bad that I'd never watched this show at all when I was going up
this is not a negotiation lol
Yngwe Malmsteen would have approved the line "Sometimes more is more".
The best
douglous brachman, bald is beautiful.
Actually his first scene was when he had lunch with Abby. Eventually both she and victor would find out how much he us making
*is
That was impressive
Gangster
Sometimes More Is More1!$
La law series finns inte på tv. Nu
2:11
WTF is that in the background 0:21
Wtf? Looks like a KKK man sculpture? That’s completely unbelievable
Exactly! I saw that too
Wth
KkK shiet hmmmmm
I think it is what it looks like, and strategically placed I might add...
Joe Biden says that Mr. Rollins is smart, articulate and clean!
Meanwhile Donald Trump would falsely accuse him of murder, and refuse to apologise even when proven wrong
Talk about a career that went nowhere.
