Excellent tale; the humor is just great! It has all the trappings of a great animated feature film. The ogre's relationship with the fair maiden is the best part. He seems to be a quite complex and conflicted villain. ha ha!

..simplistic telling..albeit not unfeasible, as similar giants' mounds litter all over north America..said to be resting places of giants by the native Americans..well done

I read about this in a book once. T's awesome that someone came with this. I actually live close to Ngong hills. But, what does it mean? "knuckles that came about during the ogre's demise or rhinoceros spring(i got this from wikipedia).

Hi, there are two names to these hills, 1. Enkongu, Meaning the eyes in maa language. Since the ngong hills are the source of Nairobi River, the word source can also mean the same as the eye. Hence the name enkong'u NGONG is a "corrupted" version.
      2. Oldonyio lolaiser, oldonyo means mountain, lolaiser means we'll of the rhino. Laiser means rhino. Along time ago rhinos would Roam Freey On The NGONG HILLS AND GO UP TO THE SRINGS TO DRINK WATER.
THE STORY OF KNUKLES IS PART OF THE GIANT STORY.

There's something in this story. Shapeshifter and three eyed. I've been curious about extraterrestrials in the ancient times. There is evidence that shapeshifters still exist. They sure must've been in Africa before and that explains Africa's mysticism regarding our religio-cultural beliefs.
