    This bloke has given a lot of free information on youtube for people wanting to start up, not many if any will be that generous. I went on to buy the training for a t-shirt business and Martin always replied to my queries and always straight to the point. Inspired me 3 years ago and I am still going, best years of my life. Hats of to Martin Butler, he deserves a lot more credit for his hard work. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to All.

    Hi Martin. I bought both of your videos about three years ago My mug business is now doing very well and just getting into T Shirts. Absolutely love it! Your videos are down to earth and very informative. As long as people understand that building a business is a gradual but enjoyable journey. Funny enough 3 years ago I was rushed in hospital after feeling sick and a very high temperature. Same as you they pumped me full of antibiotics and I was in for 5 days too. I’m ok now but I have a feeling it was Sepsis. I wish you well and hope to be watching your videos for many years to come👍🏻

    Hi Martin! I just purchased your videos for my 14 yr old son. I want him to start his own business and try to run it. In the US college is pushed on kids & I think my son needs to compare how he feels about owning his own vs college. I'm not against college at all. My daughter went to university. But kids should know ALL the options to make an informed decision. Thank you for these vids & your easy to understand info. I'm looking forward to your courses & to seeing what path my son chooses. Good to see you back hope you are fully recovered. A little tip, the shirt you did with the 66 design why not cut the whole design instead of leaving a space for the jaguar. Then cut the jaguar and overlay it exactly the one in white and press. The white jag will stick to be back of the gold jag and the gold jag will print onto the shirt. one press no cutting out and filling gaps. Obviously won't work with the youtube logo.

    Good to see you back. Hope you are on the mend? Yep, sizing different supplier garments is a pain. The worst is when someone wants a load of ladies t shirts & gives you ladies sizes. The conversion can vary between suppliers & products quite a bit. And yes, so many people are chancers out there. Also beware of scams. I recently had an email asking for 350 t shirts. A simple one line job so well worth it. But I smelt a rat from the off. I quoted him over 2 grand after giving a good discount on each garment due to the volume involved to which he agreed. Then he hit me with the sting. Could I set up credit card payments with my bank.
    I sent him to Vistaprint. Like I couldn't see that chargeback coming! Gotta have your wits about you.

      We didn't use it as the Cameo did everything we wanted. Not only that, there were limitations with the Roland as it couldn't cut small off cuts of vinyls but you can on the Silhouette by attaching them to the carrier sheet.

      Make sure the CISS is not higher than the printer and if the CISS ink bottles have little bungs in them, Remove the bungs and it shouldn't happen.

    • @billschmidt1747
      @billschmidt1747 5 лет назад

      Martin Butler thanks for your response, the CISS has a large & small holes per colour, I normally leave bung in big hole and when I top up ink, I bung up small holes then fill ink into big hole. Are you suggesting I leave both holes open? Hope that makes sense, cheers Bill

    When doing heat transfers, how is the quality? How many times can you wash the shirt before the ink starts deteriorating?

    Hi, what heat press machine would you recommend for a beginner with a budget of up to £150?

    • @reviewthat
      @reviewthat  5 лет назад +2

      None in that price bracket if you are going to do this to sell t shirts bud. You'd need around £500 maybe for a Galaxy heat press but not the Neptune.
