Ford guy here, to get rid of the tinny sound when closing the doors and a much quieter ride, put Dynamat in the lid, doors, behind the seat/and/or tank, floors, etc...I realize you said you were on a budget and Dynamat is fairly expensive, but it's worth it. I restored a '79 F26 last year, finishing up a '71 F26 currently and I'm going to be putting it in my '72 F25 and a '76 as well. The difference is amazing. You've got a really nice Slickside there. Good job on it. I had a '61 F11 and a '64 F10. Absolutely loved both of them.
I agree dynomat does wonders, when I have door panels off I try to ensure every tiny little thing is tight, samething as for the whole truck any little thing can cause a squeaky rattle. Door clips, mirror bolts, window cranks, glass slides, the list goes on. Also just wanted to say the best aligned and closing doors to ever roll off the assembly were the bump side ford trucks!
Lookin good! Love the paint
Beautiful bed. Nice work all around! Love that color.
Thank you
As suspected the ole girl is looking sharp with her custom flatbed installed. Nice work very cool ride ..... 😎
Thank you, more to follow just taking some time.
