Haha I love Jimmy. The points system is firmly established at the beginning but once the totals come out at the end he’s like “No freaking way am I giving Joez 1800+ points for that… you get 3 points”

I feel like there must be a disqualification agreement for that bridge. Every kid uses the same technique to get across not one kid has tried jumping as far out as possible and grabbing on to the chains. Everyone walks across
I mean, there was ONE time it looked like the guy got in the way, lol, but yeah, he's been hyper aware of that moment ever since.
After the soccer event, Mike asked the red kid about the event as a soccer MVP. I think the kid was confused and didn't know how to answer because BLUE was the soccer MVP.

Season kickoff is huge. Joez the obvious underdog, Jake the presumed favorite, Jimmy the agent of chaos.
I would argue jimmy is the favorite considering the winning streak he went on the preseason.

Jake's pick absolutely riffling the footballs into the tire was hilarious.
Let me tell you what it was difficult with them yanking on the bungees constantly. The crew was experimenting with us on these events. I played football was a QB so there was no way i was losing that lol
SO proud of my team Joez and Zach. The stars aligned for this one boys. 1st place off of a 3rd round pick is such a steal. Great way to start off the year. Congrats on the first win of many!!!!! LFG!!!!!!

Special notes:
- It was the first time an event ended in a three way tie
- The first time a contestant was “disqualified”; although they were still given points (100)
- It gets less and less impressive but this was the third time Red has finished first in the Crag; and when you analyze the stats for those three finishes, Red was also either leading or tied for the lead going into the crag suggesting perhaps the red crag track isn’t the factor, just the “best” competitors aren’t put in red.
How are you going to give only 3 points for a win?? What I've learned from GUTS is that it's 300 for first, 200 for second, and 100 for third :)
Feel like this could get changed by next episode, it's such a good idea and they seemingly read the comments.
Not sure if it was intentional, or they just weren't paying attention or forgot, but it was nice to see them not fast forward through the highlights leading into the Aggro Crag. I've said a few times there could be some Mike O'Malley gold in there.
please score this season like an episode of guts is scored. 100,200,300 etc. then have a special crag episode at the end with more points.
Making them do a "victory" lap around the track with a medal bopping around in their face after that whole competition is crazyy

Joez getting so hyped as soon as Craig hit the switch at the top of the Crag is absolutely fantastic.
I watch these while I am eating lunch and I get too excited when there's an event happening and I forget to take sensible bites.

Craig getting disrespected. The obvious first pick yet gets passed over for an Elastic Enthusiast and a girl who thinks she climbed the statue of liberty.
To his credit, Elastic Enthusiast did dominate the elastic jungle which is typically the deciding factor on that event. It's wild that his Soccer MVP skills got him DQ'd though.
Also if that girl climbed the Statue of Liberty like she did the Crag, it must have taken her forever.
Season premiere! Let's go! Looks like a solid format. I'm excited to see dreams realized and hopes crushed.

That's a good point. I also thought that they didn't really have the technology to watch the line so closely to see if the balls are crossing over it completely, so they made the box to simplify that.

Hey guys, I'd like to suggest that for week 4 5 6 you switch the 2nd and 3rd picks. This way in week 4 for example you don't have a complete repeat of Jake Jimmy Joez in week 1, you get Jake Joez Jimmy and end up getting every permutation of the orders.
We have game night every week and started our own league alongside you guys! I got 2nd this week!

For all Jake’s crying, kid was given 100 points, you would think a DQ would get you zero points but if you can do math, a lead by first place going into the crag if less than 400 anyone can win so his dude was fine.

It's a huge day for fans of Joez/Zach. Couldn't ask for a better start to the inaugural season
Season 1 begins LEZ GO
It'll be great to see the spirit of competition bring out the worst in our competitors.
There need to be 7 episode seasons. Each episode needs to be worth 100, 200, and 300. Then the 7th episode is like the crag, the points leader through the first 6 episodes gets first pick, 2nd next, then 3rd, and the points in the final episode are 375, 550, and 725.
You guys should find three former contestants and recreate an episode in the warehouse.

Don’t know if y’all caught it but on the soccer game, dude said “he blocked 21 out of 40”. Doesn’t change anything but at least it puts us 1 step closer to figuring out some of the idiosyncrasies of the rules.
so each kid has the same number of balls fired at them. Then why the time limit? what actually counts as a "block"? I have so many questions about this event. lol.
