The worst three way performance on the obstacle course is probably the greatest moment in Guts history.
The fact 2 of them were within 2 seconds from each other when the first one was the slowest moving contestant was Insane, and then Jake's kid falling off the chain walk lmfao what was going on

I was so not disappointed, they all went high, Brent fell off, the black girl was intentionally slow. This was the best ep ever

Also, it's definitely an advantage to sit far back in the goal: gives you more time to react to the balls coming and block them. A good DQ imo

I kept thinking every time he said it's "a disadvantage" that the opposite is true. Further distance for the ball to travel to contestant equals more reaction time. Hence, the box.
@@matthewarrojas5183 yup, I think they have to dq the person outside of the box because they can’t determine what balls have been deflected but actually went by through the goal line, and which have been legally deflected.

Joez’s comment “there is something about brad that makes me feel like he does have control of all his extremities” has to be the most accurate draft analysis of the season so far.
Was very spot on with that. I am glad you brought attention to it. I watched this one three times now to just get all the laughs I can and that really stands out now. What a hilarious episode.

Absolutely love that almost every episode Jake's pick has one seriously bad flop, causing the guys to pause and die from laughter.
In the Tiff/Christa/Brent episode Tiff got 1st place points and the other two got 2nd place points in the Spike It event.
Falling off the chain bridge is an all time Guts moment
They give third place points to the single person that doesn't tie for first place points, but if two people tie in second they both get second place points. That's been the standard.

I started following you guys a few years ago for the stellar baseball content. Now the baseball content is a distant 3rd to the warehouse games and the Guts drafts. You boys are doing something right.
Talkin' Yanks is still my top. But this has passed Talkin' Baseball for sure. I have never gotten into Warehouse games. I am a huge JM guy and watch tons of their stuff but I have just never gotten into it.
Joez experienced the same emotional switch that the kids felt during the high jump event. Happiness to immediate crippling sadness

SO MANY EMOTIONS FOR THE OBSTACLE COURSE! Adding Joez to these episodes was the greatest addition to "Playing, Watching Guts!"

The leftover crew is 100% a thing. They run the kids thru similar smaller scaled test to group them together prior to the actual guts show.
I believe the "false start" was with the timing official. The clock shown on TV was added in post but the actual clock on the field was off from the whistle and that's why they made her start over.
26:07 the tiebreak rules are that if 2 people tie for first, the odd one out gets third place. But if its the other way around, the odd one out gets their 300, but the two other get 200 because they tied for second.
Its similar to ranking in golf tournaments; if there are 10 people tied for first, the person one shot back from the group would be in 11th place.
Only just started Jake's kids basic training run and this is an all-timer episode. Unreal.

I just kept pausing and unpausing the reaction to Brad's fall. That was so hilarious. Jake just looked kind of shocked at first and then a little embarrassed and then he started laughing too. Just priceless sequence of events and great reactions.
Just saying thanks for the “Guts”. This is my favorite segment lol. Appreciate the hard work and for giving me something to watch.

Mike had so many comments on how slow Julina was during the obstacle course. Soft shoeing it, "this is a race", "get in the pool (already)". That was just great.

God, this episode is so good. Just got done with a rewatch. Joez falling to the floor laughing is so iconic. Reminds me of Sal in Impractical Jokers when he loses it.

Some times I worry about these titles getting too clickbaity, but this one was accurate. There were so many ridiculous moments in this one!
