Days Gone is missing from your list. It is extremely underrated and well worth playing. It gets a slow start but opens up into a great game after a little while. It also goes on sale for peanuts every few months on Steam.
@@digitalworms Damn.. didn’t know they cancelled it. Days Gone was one of my favorite games the last 5 years. Well.. maybe they go for a Concord 2 this time..
Days gone is fantastic. But they hated it as it was anti woke and had a white male hero dating a white woman. Cannot have a white male hero anymore. And cannot have a white woman dating a white male.
Cyberpunk 2077 had a rough release, but it's one of the best games I've ever played. If you haven't picked it up since Phantom Liberty and 2.0+, it's an absolute masterpiece.
Agreed. I waited about a year or so after release to buy it and then wait for it to be properly patched, just after 1.5 when everyone was super happy with the patch. I was very glad I waited as it was an exciting and immersive gaming experience. I loved the main character and his interaction with Keanu Silverhand Reeves and all the other characters. Top notch voice acting, beautiful environment, definitely happy with how it all turned out once properly fixed. I will say though Witcher 3 was by far my best single player gaming experience, no coincidence by the same developer. Can't wait to see what they do next.
@@inked_icons Well worth it my friend. At the time I played it (about a year ago) it did need a mod for the cars and motorcycles to add a little traction, but otherwise, was a brilliant game, fun experience.
Metro exodus on pc: hands down one of the best games ive ever played and Ive been gaming for 30 years! The story is awesome and the gameplay though frustrating at the start; when you get into it youll be hooked! I havent finished it yet but do intend to go back to it at some point. Watch out for the graveyard boss fight! There are youtube tips to beat it if you search!
Is it that good? I was a few hours into in and didn't like the combat, everything felt clunky, and I just didn't have enough interest to go any further. I keep hearing people rave about it. Maybe I will take another look.
@hannible1002 okay thanks. I'll give it a to. I read one person write "it is such a great game, I wish I never played it so I could play it for the first time". This game must open up in a big way!
Kingdom Come is incredible. I bought it last week it has blown me away. It is so immersive its crazy. You have to pay attention to all the details and really live the character. It is by far the most realistic game I've ever played. So cool.
Whats also cool is that they very accurately designed the area and the cities and towns up to the streets and buildings. There are many videos here from people who went to bohemia and made "game vs real world" videos and its great how accurateley warhorse studios designed this world. Im really happy they are working on part 2 now.
Good to hear, I bought this a while ago on sale and have been meaning to pick it up. This winter will be back to gaming time, so will definitely dive into Kingdom Come.
It's my number 1 favorite game I've spent over 150hours on it and just from January till now I'm obsessed with KCS and Im Soo pumped for the second one
Except for Ghost of Tsushima, I'm surprised how cheap these games are on Steam. They look absolutely stunning. I'm playing Ghost of Tsushima at the moment and probably have many hours to go. Love the game.
Would have wished to experience the twist in Banishers myself. But anyway, I am not too sensitive when it comes to spoilers. Better add a warning fpr others, though 😉
i think he meant more in a twist of the mechanics, like something new to try out with and how that affects the greater portion of the game and how it plays... not really a surprise twist in storyline and plot points
Great video, we know that there are many more great games, but these are the ones you wanted to showcase, and I appreciate your suggestions. Keep making more. First time on your channel. Not the last. I am a huge fan of sigle player games. I grew up on these and I haven't ever fully embraced the online model of game play just yet. I only say that to say I truely appreciate your video.
I'd say games like Cyberpunk, Elden Ring, Horizon, Sekiro, God of War, Subnautica, Hollow Knight, Ori, Kena, Ratchet & Clank, and more recently Black Myth Wukong and Stellar Blade are all worth single player games, most companies and people that say online games are better don't really know what they're talking about, every year we get 3-4 single player games that are literally a master piece. I'm so sad for people that say things like "single player games are dead"...
This is how you make a list, and a pretty good list too. But a lot of info and I will actually try a couple of these now thanks to this list. I would have added RDR2 if that counts, and Days Gone. But I’ll have to check out some of your other videos now as well. And give you a follow.
I bought Witcher 3 and Metro Exodus at Steam when they were on huge discount, around 80%. I feel like I am doing robbery there. Both are really some of the most immersive games I've experienced. Great main games that accompanied with great DLCs.
Horizon Zero Dawn was a great immersive experience with a unique story that is a must-play. RDR2 is another that transports you back to the wild west like no other game - which is probably why it still has the highest game rating all these years later. I loved Witcher3 & Metro Exodus. Games that stand the test of time and strike a chord with so many people all have distinct environments and stories that keep your attention. I tend to go for games that don't make you engage in criminal behavior and gratuitous violence just because you can.....just my 2 cents
@@theBeT95metro exedous was pretty one dimensional. It hols on to the mistakes of the series and ultimately feels like a mishmash of borrowed ideas that aren't put together well enough for a sequel.
13:32 When I first played KC:D, I gave up within a few hours. I later went back to it and actually stuck with it. Being on a console, I lack the benefits of having mods to help me when it comes to UI etc. Learning the bow tho, I found a neat trick and saw that others done this too. Before swapping over to bow or anything else, you will see a dot in the center of the screen. If you take a tiny piece of paper or whatever and stick it over the dot that is the same size, you can use this to aim and practice your bow skills and level them up. You can practice at the place in one of the bigger towns that have three targets and its used as an archery tournament. If you select practice, you will have unlimited arrows and if you begin right as it opens, you can practice until it closes. You can also bet money on yourself later on when you enter. Practicing sword play is even easier. When you go into the square to practice moves, instead of doing the actual moves they want you to do, you can just keep swinging and the weapon you have will level up your skill with that weapon. Nobody dies as they are practice weapons so you can do this all day too. Potions IIRC, all you need to do is add the ingredients and create, no need to crush stuff, pull the cord 'X' amount of times to raise the fire etc.
