Great Vlog Ryno! I built a lightsaber a little over a year ago. Watching your Vlog from when you built yours, Especially seeing how much Disney Magic you felt from the whole experience, was why I wanted to build one! For me, the whole experience of building one was in probably the TOP 3 Most Disney Magical experiences I’ve EVER Had my life. I’m in my 40’s and have been going to the parks since I was about 5 so that says a lot. So point being, Thank you so very much for paying the money to build and buy these and to show us. Hopefully that helps you to feel better about your purchases. Appreciate all you do for all of us!

Think of how many shopping videos where you did not buy anything. How much more meaningful to wait and spend the money on something you really wanted and will enjoy. Also not filling up your space with meaningless merch. but finding the perfect spot to display what you really wanted and will make you happy. Love the videos Ryno!
Just fyi, I had problems with my Savi's light saber I built in '19. I brought it back to them in March & they replaced the core of the hilt, the blade & the carrying case for FREE!! I didn't know if they were going to help me at all, but I was SO HAPPY with my purchase. Highly recommended! So if you did damage your blade, they would replace it for you. Glad you bought it! It's awesome!!

So, I saw you in HS at the end of June. I just yelled hi as you were with a friend. Anyway that very day my daughters bought me the Saavi build experience for Fathers Day and my birthday. The entire time I waffled between excitement and guilt over the cost. Since then I have thoroughly enjoyed my creation and the joy my daughters had watching me build it. Thanks for sharing your guilt, but enjoy your purchase.

I felt the same way the first time I bought a wand at the Wizarding World, especially since I did the choosing ceremony at Olivanders and ended up with a very plain one. But it was fun doing the little interactive trail through the park, and now I have this object that brings me right back there every time I see it. Plus I bought a Loungefly backpack on the same day that I literally still use every day that I was complimented on again just yesterday afternoon, so come on. Throw your change in a jar at home, and when you splurge on something, take the change to the bank, cash it in, and make an extra payment on your credit card.
I remember the time I said I wouldn't spend money on merch as I don't tend to at parks as the merch is usually cheap in quality, but on my trip to Disneyland, I left Galaxy's Edge needing to buy a second suitcase to take everything I bought home. In the end no regrets though because the stuff I bought felt practical for either room decorating, costume ideas for Halloween, and for my desk at my game studio at work. Even snagged a black kyber crystal in my first batch.

Phew...that internal battle you had with yourself was intense!! 😂 Sometimes you have to impulse buy or you would probably never buy anything because you end up talking yourself out of it. I’m glad you bought it!
You are so funny. I admit, I would stress out over this purchase as well, but I haven’t been able to go to GE yet because of the shutdowns. (I had two trips get cancelled last year and the last time I was in a Disney park was 2/2019.) You just enjoy it and let people like me live vicariously through you.
The clip on this one is very much like the one on the Reforged Skywalker hilt, so I'm guessing that "in canon" that's the style Rey found she preferred. It definitely looks like you could attach a D-ring to it, though.
It looks great but I am surprised they couldn’t include the turning activator wheel instead of that button and spring loaded teeth. And a better belt clip. But it does look great. Great show piece. My wife and I built ours at Savi Workshop on opening day at Disneyland and have since worn it twice at the parks. They are heavy and really meant as show pieces, though my wife and I do have the occasional duel in the house.

The reason for the disclaimer inside the box is because a growing number of legacy lightsaber owners are sending their sabers away to be converted from the standard sub-par electronics to superior sound boards with smooth swing. This of course would void any warranty that Disney can provide.
I started recording the video not knowing. Once I saw it at the counter though, I knew there was no going back. What if it had sold out the next day? Then I would have been kicking myself.
You guys have to find a way to get Ryno these light sabers. Like seriously do a video and have Pete show up and surprise Ryno with a $1,000 gift card and go crazy and get all of the hilts. That would be an awesome video. Probably pay for itself. Just Ryno’s reaction would be worth it 😂

Thats why I’m happy I got the Obi-Wan legacy saber. It’s so light and that’s the one I’ll wear to the park bc I barely notice it.
