Ahh I had to leave my family back with my parents as I went to film this on Maui... still it was a great time to join up with them in Laie for the rest of the trip!
best motovlogger on the planet!!! You certainly have a gift to make every dirt rider jealous its not enough that you live in the offroaders disneyland but you are also riding some of the most beautiful places on the planet maybe one day ill get to experience some of that for myself
I'm so glad I was blessed to go as well! Everything lined up pretty well... if it weren't for the kindness of others letting me stay at their places, ride their motorcycles, etc then this never would have happened. Hawaii is an expensive place and it's good to have friends there!
eveRide ADV certainly not necessary; but certainly wouldn't go to waste! (Size medium) Love the chan chan and look forward to making it out to meet you and redeem that brohug! Much love Tyler
I was really really blessed to be able to take this trip. I never would have been able to afford it without friends who let me crash at their places, Greg to let me ride his bike, etc etc. It's very good to have close friends in beautiful places haha :)
Buddy that's fantastic! You'll love the Pyrenees if you liked Maui, bendy roads, endless trails, small villages cropping out on inaccessible hills and mountains churches and chapels crowning the most obscure rocks cliffs and summits... and let's not talk about food .... well you just have to sample it! :D Let's see what I can roll out this summer! :-)
Your videos are always so great. I have been to Maui a couple times, seriously one of the most beautiful places on earth once you get out of the towns. You did such an awesome job capturing it as you always do. Riding a dual sport there would be seriously epic!!
The first time I visited Maui, and especially the Big Island, all I could say to my companions was "damn I wish I had a Dual Sport here." I may plan an trips to the Big Island in December and plan a DS rental, so thank you for the inspiration/reminder. I'm not picky what I ride so long as it's reliable enough. ;)
Wow im glad u had a good time i live on oahu and when we have tourist friends that cone they always say theres nothing to do but they just dint know where to look ive ridden on the big island where the mauna kea 200 was held but ive never ridden on maui before and i would love to
What an epic adventure! Looks like a great week with excellent riders and excellent rides, thanks for sharing this amazing footage! Loved the whales, I mean seriously!
Awe man! Seeing this on my second to last day on Oahu makes me think that I should have taken a closer look at the scheduling and tried harder to make this happen. Next time! Great video too!
I've officially added this to my adventure bucket list. Tyler can you update your gear head family how your doing and if your still moving forward with your awesome biker rental accommodations? Thanks WADZ
Epic adventure! That must be one of the most beautifuly edited video you have made so far. We can see how much your edition skills have stepped up over the time. Keep riding safe and sharing your adventures with us. Greetings from a French fan of yours. Hope our Klr's will have the chance to meet up one day ;)
Excellent video man! I don't know how, but I have to make a trip like this happen one day. I love how you were able to capture it all and then tell the story. Really good stuff!
Great video as always. Have you ever tested a honda nx650 ? It seems that they were mostly sold in Europe, I wanted to know what you think of it since we find it here for less than 1500 € in good condition.
I wonder if my wife would let me do that the whole time if I take to Maui for vacation. How did you like the 449? I'm debating on that or the smaller 310.
If you ever wanted to get into another job, you could narrate or read books on audio. LOL. Seriously. Enjoy your videos man. FINALLY got another bike after a 15 year hiatus from riding. Used to ride dirt bikes growing up and have be yearning to ride again. Picked up a cheap little dual sport to get back into it.
Legendary channel..... I just rode all over costa rica wish I had footage like yours. Hit me up when you go to southeast asia or central america I'll join you brother!
Yep I'm going back for sure!! I started in san jose went to playa hermosa guanacaste, playas del coco, took pacific route down to tamarindo, marbella, samara etc.... My favorite part was going from samara to montezuma there are two routes... a pacific route and a paved route if its raining to hard... I made a friend in playa avellanas and he bought a bike there too and joined me for a month as well. I stayed in total two months I went all the way to puerto jimenez and several other spots a long the way. I put over 3k kilometers on that bike within 2 months. I will definitely join you guys on your next trip!!
eveRide, when are you going to start putting together a Dakar / Tuareg Rally or similar effort? I'd love to see you do a series of videos on the whole thing from prep to entry... I'm sure you be able to get some funding/sponsorship together? Hell I'd slip you a lazy few $$ to help out!!
i'm Jason s, from stlouis. it's so hard to find places to ride off road. all the land is for private use farmland and these farmers will kill you for tearing up their Farms so yes , you're right! places to ride is getting very hard to find! so much so that I bought a Kawasaki versys 300X . and I'm an off-road guy turned dual sport because of this the police will put you in jail if you don't have license plates and turn signals. but anyway I've been watching your videos for years and love Adv riding if and when possible
I have a new co-worker who recently left Maui for California. After seeing this I'm wondering why the hell she would have moved from Maui to the worst state in the US. Especially since she claims to love dual sports
Thank you so much for putting these videos out there. They are just so inspiring to people all over the world. I have to tell you that watching your channel has made me want more out of life. Maybe one day you'll come down to sunny Guatemala and ride here. After much drooling over your footage, I finally drove on my first single track. Along a river. Here's that story advrider.com/index.php?threads/my-very-first-single-track-in-the-east-of-guatemala.1234450/#post-32545908 Thank you for the inspiration. I got my gear using your links too!
I live in a country with lots of roads like that. Sometimes a car or truck takes up the whole available lane and you've gotta be ready to stop on a dime. It's super challenging when you've got large objects coming at you. I generally ride my SMR 510, so no knobbies and a big brembo disk, which is an advantage.
Greg IS the Hox! I got to meat AB on this trip but only for a few minutes because he was super busy. However I got to meet him again in Moab and we had a blast!
Kahakuloa...more memories...the north-east end of the island has its own charms. This Maui series is outstanding!
Such a beautiful EveRide rendition of dat' dark wet jungle we've all heard about! It is on my bucket list fo sho!!!! Well done bud, beautiful!!
Always well filmed and edited...looked like a blast! Very happy that you and the family got to experience that!
Ahh I had to leave my family back with my parents as I went to film this on Maui... still it was a great time to join up with them in Laie for the rest of the trip!

I am so glad that you were granted this awesome experience, Tyler.
I'm so glad I was blessed to go as well! Everything lined up pretty well... if it weren't for the kindness of others letting me stay at their places, ride their motorcycles, etc then this never would have happened. Hawaii is an expensive place and it's good to have friends there!
Its crazy how your commentary makes the entire thing better, you got an awsome talent there!
I've been on this road before. It is absolutely paradise
My wife and I were just in that area a month ago! loved seeing familiar sights! thanks! great footage!
Definitely a bucket list trip!
Thank you AAron and FIRST AGAIN! Dude you need a free shirt or something! :D
eveRide ADV certainly not necessary; but certainly wouldn't go to waste! (Size medium) Love the chan chan and look forward to making it out to meet you and redeem that brohug! Much love Tyler
Im glad you got to experience something that amazing dude.
I was really really blessed to be able to take this trip. I never would have been able to afford it without friends who let me crash at their places, Greg to let me ride his bike, etc etc. It's very good to have close friends in beautiful places haha :)
Very true man. Ive just started a new job im looking to get into dual sports. Hoping to buy a used DRZ at some point soon
More great stuff from eveRide! Fabulous scenery shared with your trademark expertise. Anxious for more!
I figured I would have to sit on the beach or something in Hawaii. Lol poor Juanita!
Everide, you are my spirit animal.
The dark wet jungle "EveRide Style"... Love it!
I actually emerged! hahaha :D
The dream ride! Hopefully one day I will ride there too, AWESOME video!
Awesome video!! Thx!! Added Maui to my adventure bucket list!
This video is just pure awesomeness!
Buddy that's fantastic! Love your videos!!! Definitely wanting a bike... and now a drone.
Maui is now on the list!

That is some scenery! Great production as well!
Awe man! Seeing this on my second to last day on Oahu makes me think that I should have taken a closer look at the scheduling and tried harder to make this happen. Next time! Great video too!
just looked up the roads on Maui, some seriously squiggly lines along the coast.
unreal Tyler, that was EPIC!!!! Thanks for letting me TAG along, please cone back soooooooon!
I guess this is added to my list, I got to ride a KTM through Bali a few months back and I'm.craving more island dirt.
Definitely a beautiful place and a beautiful video, but I really enjoy watching the videos from Utah, something about that state!!! Lol
Man that is what I need. Mts beaches nice weather. I love that Afro mic you had
I've officially added this to my adventure bucket list. Tyler can you update your gear head family how your doing and if your still moving forward with your awesome biker rental accommodations? Thanks WADZ

I think they ate that cat.
8:28 "Delicious food."
Sorry, I couldn't resist. :)
lol! Nah we didn't eat the cat, but beautiful cats like that are all around the island. Most are strays but they're still awesome!

Ok, now I have to go to Hawaii.
It's a pretty excellent place for the dual sports!
Epic adventure! That must be one of the most beautifuly edited video you have made so far. We can see how much your edition skills have stepped up over the time. how are you getting such smooth video out of your onboard camera?
I almost didn't watch this but I'm glad I did. 5/5
Nice Man! Maui, my favorite. Glad you're back, how are you after your ordeal?

Pretty awesome dude!
Where is this!? I am in maui for 10 days and would love to do this
love the videos! very inspiring. can you do a video about fitness to improve off road riding?
Great video as always. Have you ever tested a honda nx650 ? It seems that they were mostly sold in Europe,
I wanted to know what you think of it since we find it here for less than 1500 € in good condition.

Damn tourist cagers
Well to be fair it was also our fault (and I'm also a tourist) haha :D Going around those curves is just plain spooky, even for locals like Curt.
I live in a country with lots of roads like that. Sometimes a car or truck takes up the whole available lane and you've gotta be ready to stop on a dime. Hence the name dirt bike you don't put Street stuff on one
