What an honor to listen to this great man. And thanks to the family for helping. I’d imagine there’d be maybe some reticence to put Dad through this, but it’s very important that we know what they went through. Thanks again sir, and to your comrades for putting your lives on the line when it was needed most!

An absolute honor to have met Cash twice.
If you’re ever visiting anywhere close to Pensacola then go visit the Aviation museum on the Naval base on Tuesday. He’ll be there to share his stories and talk about the plane he was on.
God bless you Cash and your family. We look forward to seeing you again.

Great subject for interview. God bless him for his service. I wish the people interviewing these veterans would have some knowledge of the military. There were about 50 questions that could have been asked to make this more interesting and less repetitive of the information the subject already gave.

Thank you for watching and for your comment. Please note that every oral history interview can have a different purpose. Not always are they about gathering information for an academic or historical treatise. What specific military questions would you be interested in?

@MakingHistoryProject I wish people leaving these comments would have some knowledge of military. So they would know what questions to recommend. Lol

I am always open to suggestions. One theme I have is to guide the Veteran to tell their story as it is uniquely theirs. I do not want to turn their story into an interrogation or just a quest for dates and facts. In other words, what was their experience? What did it look and feel like? And finally, what impact did that experience have on you later in life? Those are the areas that I generally like to explore. @@jbatt6088

@@MakingHistoryProjectYour doing an amazing job. Keep up the hard work. I literally close my eyes and try to live there words. I do have one question suggestion ask the next veteran you interview or is the country they are living in today the same country they fought for back then.
