I gotta say as a metalhead I respect punks a lot. I went to a punk/thrash show for this one death metal band was there too. And punks are awesome man there were as many girls as there were guys! And the pit was always crazy not just a giant gap in the middle of the floor.
@adreenalize mate, punks were everywhere. allover the world. In london, Edinburgh, Dublin, Münich, Wien, Rome, Paris, Ljubljana and so on and so on... you couldn't miss. :)
@jadrumkob DON'T BE ASHAMED because u were born in the 90's, it's great u r into punk, being so young, the majority of kids yr age are into rubbish corporate music, so be proud of yrself. take care, Luca
@adreenalize hahaha no, i wasnt around in the 80s... im a 90 kid, and Im prettymuch ashamed of it :(. i wish i saw you, if i was atleast british but im slovenian (from ljubljana). In my city we hang out in a street called Metelkova ulica, there are punk concerts every friday, there was exploited 2 -3 weeks ago. Im 13 tho, Im a punk (the anarchist one). :)
@jadrumkob I know, maybe you didn't understand, I was a punk rocker myself, in a way I still consider myself one, still playing in a punk band and living outside the"system"as much as I can.... I was talking about a specific place in that video, I remember the road, but I can't remember where is it.... it's definitely England though. I don't know who u are but I bet you saw me playing live with at least one of the bands I've been in... were u around in the late 80's? take care, L
can someone tell me, remind me please, what's that place where all those punks seem to be going in the video? is it in London? I remember Dave and all that lot, but I can't remember that place.... can someone help me please?
From the off Morecambe is easily recognisable, the original home of Punk and Womad festivals, as well as the last Northern Soul All Nighters first held on the derelict, condemned Central Pier before finally finishing off late 80s at the Carlton in the West End. Not bothered about famous posers as much as hoping to catch sight of an old mate. The corrupt council has come to regret every choice made. Remember Blobbygate !
i kinda feel like punk is dead, cuz when punk first started that was real true punk but the bands that consider themselves punk today dont really have that same vibe
@adreenalize Im not ashamed of myself, Im ashamed because people think like: oh look at all these youngsters, all listening to that crappy techno shit. I wish there were more punks. I kindda turn out really weird so I got (actually the opponent got) beat up at school. xD thanks fur support mate!
i did a lot more than that in the 80's, gigs every 2 or 3 days, women joined the army went to the falklands and ulster, had kids, so talk for yourself mate because i and everyone i know did more than you
ok i don't know if that was a joke or not but i'm only going to get my hair cut by a profesional, i'm not married yet and even if i was, i wouldn't spit on her as i have respect for females, i don't have any kids and even if i did i would give him or her any alcohol and i don't smoke or do drugs
@emosux94 Maybe it sucks because kids just wanna cop the stuff we did in the 70's and 80's? Go out, do something different. Learn your own dance, don't copy mine. And trust me, the 1970's sucked pretty frigging bad too. I promise. Cheers.
Beautiful.
