I apologize to those who were confused because of the cuts. This is my first youtube video! i learned a lot. I deeply appreciate the recognition it has and i am so so grateful! I am willing to re-record this video and reduce the cutting. please comment below if you would like me to remake this tutorial! 💗
No hate at all but will you please remake this video because it was a cute pattern but the instructions were confusing the pattern itself wasn’t super hard.
If y’all are having issues w the last row, make sure you’re doing your first single crochet into the same stitch you just did slip stitch and chain 1. Maybe I’m just dumb but I was having sm trouble until I figured that out!
WRITTEN PATTERN - magic ring - 15 dc - 15 inc, (2 dc per stich) - hdc, dc (in the same stich, triple dc, ch 1, triple dc) dc, hd - st to the next - make 4 poins of star more ✨ 🎀💌
thank you so much!! this was my first crochet project and I appreciate you being close up and specific! it was really fun and turned out not bad at all!
this video was easy to follow thru, i appreciate how u explained stuff and i bet beginners would find it helpful. the star itself is hella cute. thanks for sharing the tutorial and i hope u have a great week

Thank you so much for this! I really love the way you broke down how to do each stitch and wrote it out as well! This was my first introduction to a lot of these stitches (up until now I've been practicing with granny squares), and the way you showed how they work was really helpful! Hope to see more of these from you in the future, you're a great teacher!
as a beginner who has yet to actually finish something, i loved the way you explained things! was actually able to finish this without wanting to cry haha,, thank youu!!
written pattern (for myself🎀) Mr 2 chains 14 dc slipstitch chain 2 & then increase (2) in all the 14 DC and the 2 chain thingy we did in the starting (so 30 stitches total) slip stitch and chain 1 now, do a hdc, DC (both of them in seperate stitches) and then thc, ch1 and then tc again! (In the same stitch) And then DC in the next stitch and then hdc in the next one and finally ss in the next stitch
I just finished a couple of these and I can definitely see where people got confused… it’s more like advanced beginner friendly! Still a good tutorial but i know it would probably not be as easy to understand if you don’t know how to kinda read your own crochet work because that’s the problem I kept having with a lot of tutorials when I fiiiiiiirst started.
this was my first crochet project and i was able to follow your instructions easily! it turned out very cute, thank you for the comprehensive tutorial :-)
Hi! Thank you soooooo much for this tutorial! I struggle with patterns and knowing which stitch to go into - this was the first video that actually showed which stitch we needed to crochet into - like including the chain two in our count. Thank you so so much. I really appreciate creators like you who take your time to post these tutorials. I will make sure to purchase something on your Etsy as a thank you! ⭐️⭐️☀️☀️. Also, you owe no one apologies! You took your time to walk us through this tutorial, edit it, made it ridiculously clear. ❤❤❤
Tbh idek what yall on this was easy as hell and good to follow. Im a beginner Crocheter and even so this was easy to follow. Idk maybe yall need to practice a bit more but overall good tutorial keep going
You´re an amazing teacher!!! I love that you show exactly where the stitch is. I learned so much from this video!! Just subscribed and can't wait to watch the others tutorials
This is a wonderful tutorial!! So easy to follow, only confusing part for me is the last row but everything else was perfect :) thank you for making this and explaining all the terms because a lot of people forget to do that 🩷🩷
@4:09 double crochet into each stitch, she did two already so 28 more. = 30 stitches Ngl it was a bit hard to follow. Mine look like a star like yours but a little wonky... I'll have to figure out why.
Was so simple, can't understand all the complaints..... Any ideas on how to join the stars,I'm keen on making a bag. Many thanks for your time and effort to share this. Much appreciated and hugs from South Africa
i like this but maybe its just the type of yarn i used, mine seemed more rounded than pointed on the edges? i used 100% cotton but it almost looks like a flower shape to me
thank you for the video!! if i had any feedback, it would be maybe when you cut videos sometimes it's hard to know if you've already done a step or are about to - maybe speed up instead? and also possibly replace "that stitch" with "same stitch" / "next stitch" 🥹 just for accessibility purposes, i really enjoyed otherwise though and it came out cute
i love this tutorial! It was very easy to follow. But as I began to make the points, my star was not flat. It didn’t look like points but I did all the steps right. How do I fix that?
Such a good tutorial but mine doesn’t look I quite right, the corners are too tiny and square-ish, does anyone know why it happened and how I could fix it ? thank u for the tutorial 😁
Same thing happened with mine. It looks more like a flower than a star. Could it be that you also make the stitches fairly tight? I always have trouble with that, so I just figured that might be the problem haha
I had to add one more row bc of the size, so if you have the same problem: •Make another row with 1dc, 1inc (2dc in the same st), 1dc, 1inc..... you must have 45st at the end •The next part: 1sc, 1hdc, 1dc, 1tc-1ch-1tc, 1dc, 1hdc, 1sc, 2 sl st.. Only in this way you'll have 5 points(?) -At the start, you have 1sl st when joined the past row, so at the end of the row, you must have 1sl st, in that form you have the 2sl st between the points •Last row: 3sc, 1inc, 1sc-1ch-1sc, 1inc, 3sc, 2sl st in the same form she did.. At the end of the row make the 1sl st, then join the points with a 'normal' sl st, chain 1 or 2 and cut the yarn At the end, mine is 10cm aprox, from point to point.. I hope it helps
no hate but the cuts are real confusing and sometimes its either really slow or really fast i cant catch up and the written pattern is so confusing. like it was fine at first but at the end where u outline the star i gave up cuz i had no idea what u were doing and there wasn't a lot of explaination
I know it's too late for this, and maybe already finished.. I had the same problem and believe me, it was a little bit hard.. But if you wanna try yeah, make another row with 1dc, 1inc (2dc in the same st), 1dc, 1inc..... Until you have 45st at the end; then the next part I did 1sc, 1hdc, 1dc, 1tc-1ch-1tc, 1dc, 1hdc, 1sc, 2 sl st.. Only in that form can make the 5 (idk how it say but 'puntas').. And for the last row 3sc, 1inc, 1sc-1ch-1sc, 1inc, 3sc, 2sl st in the same form she did, and repeat till end
is there a way to use this star pattern to make a bag? im just trying to figure out how to crochet a star to get started but I have been wanting to make a star bag! ❤
Omg girl you gotta out the link to ur Etsy in ur RUclips bio! I almost thought u didn’t have one. These are literally so cute I need to make a bunch asap🥰
The cuts are a bit confusing. I could follow at the beginning, but at the end when you did the star edges, i had to rewatch the steps a lot. And even then i ended up with only 4 edges XD Still don't know why. So in conclusion, the beginning is good, just the end is a bit difficult to understand c: Still thank you for the tutorial. The star you made looks really cute
this video was good but try to lessen the cuts it makes it very confusing and with some of the stitches it was hard to know where to put them since you didn’t specify everytime but overall great vid
My star may not be perfpect but this tut was very good and YOU WERETHE ONLT ONE WHO FINALLY TAUGJT ME HOW TO DO MAHIC TRING PROPER AFTER A MONTH OF DOING IT INCORRECTLY
I’m confused. At 6:46 is the half double crochet in the same stitch of the double crochet? Or are they in separate stitches? That wasn’t really clear to me
I just finished and no hdc is NOT in the same stitch as the dc, the half double crochet is in the NEXT stitch. the only ones that are in the same stitch for that row are the treble ch 1 treble. she did go kinda fast right there and didn’t say “in the next stitch” but I tried it and they came out perfect
make sure you're counting you're stitches along the way and at the end of every round. you probably forgot some increases along the way and were short a few stitches when making the points
I just did this with my cuz cuz and i have to say it blowed okay, we followed your pattern to a T and it still came out garbage mama. But that’s probably our fault LOL😂
I apologize to those who were confused because of the cuts. This is my first youtube video! i learned a lot.

Pls make another video like this cause u kept cutting and i sisnt understand my star looks bad make another video like this plssss
If y’all are having issues w the last row, make sure you’re doing your first single crochet into the same stitch you just did slip stitch and chain 1. Maybe I’m just dumb but I was having sm trouble until I figured that out!
that was helpful, thank you! ❤️
if only i looked into the comments before i finnished it🥹
Y’all I’m still stuck on the last row, the cut is confusing me. Is she increasing all the way round the edge or just once? 😭

Thanks for the tutorial! I’m doing a space-themed desk setup and these are a perfect addition 🥰
Perfect tutorial! Thank you for this pattern!
TYSM FOR THIS TUTORIAL!! I LOVE THIS COASTER!!
This is a wonderful tutorial!! So easy to follow, only confusing part for me is the last row but everything else was perfect :) thank you for making this and explaining all the terms because a lot of people forget to do that 🩷🩷

Any ideas on how to join the stars,I'm keen on making a bag.
Many thanks for your time and effort to share this. Much appreciated and hugs from South Africa
mine came out to be a flower instead of a star but it was still cute so thank you!!!
Mine too lol
you can block it (wetting the star and pinning it on a board to dry)
Same Same ended up with 6 sides instead of 5
ME TOO HAHA, I’m so glad to see I’m not the only one cause I was just wondering where I went wrong 😅😅
Your explanation is wonderful
Super easy to follow along! I forgot the chain 1 as I was finishing each tip but still v cute!
I love it! Thank you. Im looking for a cute coaster to make and this is perfect.❤
Really love the proccess and explanation ❤
thank u for an easy explanation i could make it easily
If anyone wants to watch this crochet video it was hard as hell
I really like your teachings❤
good tutorial thank u its very cute

just replay for every star point, that's what I did and ik what you mean. its difficult lol
Is there a way to add one more row to make it a little bigger? with the yarn and tension i have mines just a little small

She has made a video on how to make one on her channel xx
Are you going under or into the first double crochet for the first slip stitch because I go into it but it looks like you might be going under.
Thank you for the tutorial! I got a very beautiful star:)
i love this!! please post more tutorials when you can they are so easy to follow 😊
I just saw your tik tok a few hours ago ab this so I saved it for later. now it's later and I found your yt video 😂
Thanks, i love it! ❤😊
Omg girl you gotta out the link to ur Etsy in ur RUclips bio! I almost thought u didn’t have one. These are literally so cute I need to make a bunch asap🥰
Instructions for the last row was quite confusing
I don’t understand magic rings at all and I was so sad when you started doing because these look really cute :(
I' wondering if it's possible to make a granny square out of this?
lol!! How did I get a flower?!?! 😂 but thank you for this video! ❤
Hi where’d you get your yarn?
what type of yarn is this? can't seem to find this kind of blended yarn
Is there any way to make the star into a granny square?
7:06 repeat star 3 more times
Great video

Can someone help me- after my first double crochet what do i do to do the second one-
im struggling with that as well :((
Can you make a video on how to connect them together!!!!
mine didnt come out as big how would i fix that? would i just do the last row again our the circle part one more time

I ended up with 6 points :D?
Mine isn't close together its sepearte and looks weird. Any tips
So cute ☺️ thank you so much.
Tyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy😊
It was hard for me to make the pointsss but mine looks cute
Round 2: HELP MEEE I CANT . I MADE 35 STITCHES
you have to count your 15 stitch first. then you have to dc 2 into the same stitch.
I’m confused. At 6:46 is the half double crochet in the same stitch of the double crochet? Or are they in separate stitches? That wasn’t really clear to me
This is where I got confused too lol 😩
I just finished and no hdc is NOT in the same stitch as the dc, the half double crochet is in the NEXT stitch. the only ones that are in the same stitch for that row are the treble ch 1 treble. she did go kinda fast right there and didn’t say “in the next stitch” but I tried it and they came out perfect
@@brendalu9652 omg thank you so much😭😭I haven’t even kept going because I was confused and a beginner so I didn’t want to mess it up.
I came from Instagram i really like your work its sooo cutee we need more tutorials
am I the only one who had a left over space at the end of the star 🙃
When you don’t have a needle and now you can’t make the star ⭐️🥲😭😭
You can also use your crochet hook, insert it into the stitch, grab the yarn, pull it through, turn the star, and repeat
How to do it bigger tho 😢sorry im not that far
Idk how but I ended up with 4 points instead of 5??? 😭😭
make sure you're counting you're stitches along the way and at the end of every round. you probably forgot some increases along the way and were short a few stitches when making the points
WRITTEN PATTERN!❤❤👇

15 double croches
15 increases [2 double croches in each stitch]

The last part kind of confusing. Mine looks like a flower. lol. Thanks by the way :)
Just depends on your yarn and hook gauge. Blocking it might help :)
Mine doesn’t look like yours😭😭
Same happened to me but i did another one and it's kinda the same, so if your gonna do it again pay REALLY close attention, not saying you didn't tho-
9:39 single crochet increase
wdym?
@@kupo-du2hqa lot of people time stamp and say random stuff for their own notes lol i do it too
Idk what these comments are talking about because this was really easy 💀
I did this project in 45 to 55 minutes it was really easy i stared crocheting last mouth this is VERY helpful
i messed up first time somehow i ended up with six points so i had to go again and see if i was bieng stupid
I dont have a needle 😢
Why am I only able to get 6 points rather than 5? 😭
I just did this with my cuz cuz and i have to say it blowed okay, we followed your pattern to a T and it still came out garbage mama. But that’s probably our fault LOL😂
