That stupid bs of "...I am not a ma'am..." happened to me for real with some officer who could not leave her childhood complexes at home. I was at the airport, had just addressed as "sir" every single male officer with no problem at all, nobody was offended. Then this lady in uniform is next and I called her "ma'am" and she blew a gasket and started telling me that I was supposed to call them "officers". I mentioned that I had called the male officers "sir" for the last 5 minutes several times and none of them objected. She became even more irate. By the way, I was in the service and we did call officers "sir" and "ma'am" and that was never an issue. I guess, when you have nothing to live for or remote to a normal life, you have the time to get furious over words of respect that are not your preferred words.

There was a cable TV show, Stories from the E.R., a few years ago about things that happened in the emergency room in various hospitals. in more than one episode, it showed someone having something impaled in their body, even through their head. Do not remove the object; let the medical professionals do it! One of the funniest episodes was when a lady sat down on a toilet and got stuck on it. Her husband had left the seat up. 😂 then there was the other one about the man who was high on marijuana trying to have sex with a campsite barbecue grill and got his dick stuck in it. I'm not joking; this really happened at a state park somewhere.

I hear "oh I have an idea" and turn around to see my aunt tying the FUCKING ROPE AROUND HER FAT ASS! she is somehow under the impression that all she has to do to pull this tree that is ACTIVELY BEING CUT down is to lean back! as I'm yelling at her to untie herself, the tree starts to fall...the wrong way. turns out a 40 foot tree weighs more that 280lbs cause it yanks her to the ground and starts tightening around her waist. I am now the only one keeping this tree from falling on a house and launching my aunt into orbit because her dumb ass decided to become the rock IN A GOD DAMN TREBUCHET!!! Eventually my grandfather gets to us, unties her and we manage to wrangle this fucking tree. my opinion suddenly matter now

All because I knew I didn’t do anything wrong and demanded the officer tell me why he pulled me over. He made up several things and I called him on his lies. Eventually I collected business cards from each of the 9 officers and told them how they were the issue. They listened quietly as I ranted then I drove away. They were smug and I was furious. For those saying she's arrogant or ignorant actually look at the context of the situation she is in.
She's been asked to investigate a crime in the wilderness alone except for the suspected criminal, who is known as the chief enforcer for the most feared family in the state that there are a ton of bad rumors about.
If I was her, I'd have just flat out refused to go without back up (her superiors are fucking morons for sending her without a partner). She got lucky Rip is a better man than any rumor will make him out to be or the Dutton's allow him to be.

Given the combination of a high strung horse, a sh1tty high strung rider and the riders own general idiocy, a horsefly could absolutely cause a horse to flip out like that.
