This has always been true. It’s the trap of the beginner to think “if only I had x camera, then I’ll get work”. Nope, getting work allows you to have x camera. You’re in the right track now. I’ve been at it 12 years and counting. Being polite and hardworking are the 2 most important factors in success.

I wish I had a Sony FX6 so I could not get clients... luckily my Panasonic GH5 has taken me to 10-11 countries and counting 😋

its very true, i undestand this with 3 cameras in may bag and a lot of other equipment, but now im mastering my craft and try to offer the best of me, not necesarely the best equipment. In my defense, work is the excuse to get and by tech but still

This was awesome thank you. I really felt this deep. This is also true in fpv. When I first got into it I thought that if I built a cinelifter I would get pro gigs rolling in the door. Never made a dime with it but I've made a LOT with a tiny little cinewhoop lol
