Nice video! Question: Do the clamps at the base of the legs rotate at all, such that you could mount this rack at the BACK of your desk, rather than to the sides? (I have a 160cm width desk) Thanks in advance!
Interesting video. I am about to look at how to rig my cameras in my new shed, I'll probably use wooden joists and clamps for now, but I'll definitely keep this in mind. Thank you for the review.
Thanks for the video. Any shaking or wobbling while using your desk? I've watched a recent video of yours and didn't notice any but wasn't sure if you're doing any video stabilization in post. Thanks!
Hi there! Thanks so much for this amazing video! I absolutely love your gadget setup. It would be great if you could make a video detailing everything on your table, explaining why you use each item and where to buy them-like the monitor and some of the cameras. Absolutely love it. Thanks again!
I was about to order this but I noticed that the maximum length is 120cm and the desk I have is 121.92cm. Do the clamps extend a little further? I'd hate to order it and it not fit!
Terrific video - thinking of adding this rig for an unboxing video. A question please - my desk is wider than the maximum width of the mount. Can I mount the clamps to the rear of the desk, then rotate the side vertical arms so I can still run the top arm between them? Thanks so much in advance - I’m buying this because of your terrific video!
Those clamp handles look obnoxiously large. Will they even be able to tighten if you only have a 2" overhang on your desk? Can they be removed without breaking them?
@@kiphakes That's too bad. They really are a dealbreaker for me. The back of my desk only has a 2 inch overhang, and my desk is 59 inches wide, making it impossible to mount this frame further forward where the clamps would have more space. These c-clamps are poorly designed, and ALL of the recent Neewer products use them. Guess I'll have to give my money to other brands.
the part I hate most for anything is the bit that comes at the end, and that always seems to be the cable management weird that. because even if you do it as you go, it still becomes a rats nest before you finish, I don't really know how or why!!
I bought one and the clamps were not good. They kinda bent a little and also the screw poked through the padding so I returned it. Not good quality in my opinion.
I actually just ordered this after seeing it set up. Pictures never give me what I need to see due to difficulty in determining scale, or they are photoshopped against a white background, whereas seeing it at your desk made it clear what I was getting with this.
I was maybe mistaken, it's a badly laid out sales page, haha. Got it today, and there is documentation for both 5kg and 12kg, so I think both of us could be right, hahaha. Maybe the overhead is 5 and total with both arms it totals 12kg
Looks great, nice setup Kip
Vince! Get to bed!
😂😂😂😂
Nice video!

Yeah that would work
This is SO cool! This rig for a bigger desk would be IDEAL. Thx for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Do you have a sample video of the top down shot as you do stuff? I’m curious to see it there will be micro wiggles that the camera picks up. Thanks!
Just watch any of my videos after this one 👍🏼

Oooh that’d be great to see!

There might be a little bit of wiggle room actually. But I’m not sure nearly two centimetres worth.

Looks decent. Think I'll give it a go
could you mount the clamps along the back side of the desk instead of the sides?
Yeah! I don’t see why not!
Nice new setup, looking good
Thank you!!
Can you unscrew those clamps and put it in standard tripod mount?
Sure
Good video buddy.
Thank you! Much appreciated!
Good vid kip ❤😊
perfect clamp as my desk is nearly 3inches thick
Thank you for the video, Kip. I'm just wondering if you're still using this setup. Thanks!
Yep! Still loving it!
@@kiphakes Thank you for replying!
Can I connect a mointor and camera to a laptop that is using obs?
I don’t see why not!

No it doesn’t
that's nice! I saw that it's over one thousand SAR. Hopefully, it goes on sale soon 😅

Not sure there is a way of removing them

I have several Neewer pruducts. I pronounce it Knee wer 😃I enjoyed the video though.

Nice rig Kip. According to support @ Neewar, it is pronounced NEWER 😅
I will forever call it Neeeeeewweeeeeeeeeeer

Welp. Mine is still standing- sorry to hear yours isn’t
@@kiphakes yeah I prefer two mount points on a single arm like the Tarion myself. Just stronger overall. But glad this one works for you.
I think its 11 pounds not KG
