I been burn cutting for 10 years.. your going way to slow If you can’t change the speed, turn the gas down a little to not make it so hot.

What causes the cut metal to pull so far away at the starting side of the cut? Is that just from heat?
Heat expands metal+the weight of the cut piece pulling away from the solid sheet
