- It's always bothered me that this version of "Use Me" was nowhere to be found on RUclips. It is the version that always stuck with me. I love the way they rewrote the verses from the original 1994 Ron Kenoly version and Neal Jones' AMAZING solo work. And unlike the Brooklyn Tabernacle Version, all three verses are used. Other postings from this album says the recording was in 1994. Was this album recorded in Indy in 1997 or 1994?
How Sweet the Sounds The data I had gotten from Allmusic said 1997, but it seems you are correct. Further research showed it was #18 on the Billboard chart April 2, 1994. Thanks for the note--will change it now!
Actually this was recorded in 1993 and was released in 1994.

The Bible says that David was a man after God's heart. The reason for that is, he was willing to be used by the Lord to do whatever he could to advance God's Kingdom. Oh..I know. He made some mistakes along the way but...that did not change his heart. He was willing to be used by the Lord. Are we willing even with our faults willing to say what David said, "If You can use anything Lord, use me"? Are we willing to step out on faith trusting that wherever we are led, that we will be led by The Divine Will of our Great God?
