92.3 WKTU 98.7 KISS 107.5 WBLS Takes me back to my halcyonic early teenage days listening to MASSIVE CLASSIC dance tracks like this back in the day in NY on those 3 radio stations. "Baby Doll" was definitely a jam!!!👍🏾👍🏾🎶🎶
Yep. I was working there when this came out. It was an import that the A&R guy for Warner Bros played us, one Friday afternoon. We liked it, so he called the guy from Sire Records (which was two doors down from his office), and they called the import label (Virgin) right there in front of us! What's incredible is that that Friday and Saturday night, it was played at Paradise Garage and by Monday it was in rotation on WKTU, KISS and WBLS. That's how shit worked in the 80's, even without social media! Lol
Une tuerie que je continue à mixer et aucune radio le joue ! George McFalane à la bass 😎et on est dans l’esprit d’Imagination « Music & light », respect !
Not one girl on the album cover sang one note, not one word of Baby Doll...Kimberle Ames sang the whole song...One of the girls on the cover wasnt even at Rooster studios the night it was recorded...That''s show biz....

All of those! My teen years were spent in art school, 6 days a week. So, I'd always be drawing/painting & jamming
I seen them perform this song in 1983. This was the jam then and its still my jam!!!❤❤❤❤
