This song played on the airplane when i was finding my seat on the airplane ride home after backpacking for over a few years. It just hit me so hard.

This is one of those songs that you suddenly overhear in the most unexpected places and you think to yourself "what the hell am I doing with my life"

Finally found my favourite comment section, no one begging for likes, just everyone appreciating good music.

Groove Armada and Air...the two most underrated bands of the 90's whose music would still be relevant today.

I remember my van broke down in the middle of the desert in Australia and I stuck on this song and danced like everyone was watching

some time in the future .. when they take me off life support, they should play this over a good pair of headphones and let me drift to sleep to eternity..

OK. I had to come here to type this out because, well only you people will understand, I guess. The people around me just don't get it. I subscribe to RUclips Premium. I use RUclips Music a lot. I love to pick a song I love and let Google serve up music it knows I love as a sort of radio station. Sometimes it delivers songs I've never heard. It delivered "At The River" to me a couple of months ago. I WAS STRUCK DUMB. I'd never heard it before. I've been an avid music fan since childhood, and I'm 58 years old. Somehow this song got past me upon release. Anyway, I listened to it a few times after Google delivered it to me and kind of moved on. Then the other day it came up in rotation again on RUclips Music. I CRIED. I've listened to it probably 20 times over the last couple of days. This morning while listening to it I was thinking how I might want this played at my funeral after a long and healthy life. It is in my top 100 songs of all time at this point, a song you can put on "repeat" and I can listen to it all freaking day without ever tiring of it. It HURTS to hear, in the sweetest way. A moment of complete bliss, of finally letting it all fall away and enjoying that moment in the sand. That beach moment.

Just rediscovered this song by hearing the original Old Cape Cod that’s sampled. I listened to this song countless times as a kid. Now I have my own kid to share it with.

This may sound crazy but this song to me sounds like a funeral of good kind hearted person who's done nothing but good to others in the world....love this track

I can’t even tell you how much this song is amazing. The way it makes you feel. No matter what mood you’re in. I’m stating (and realizing) this is my favorite song of all times. I know it sounds crazy but I’m gonna get “if you’re fond of sand dunes and salty air” tattooed on my arm
