I'm not an LSU fan, but I really enjoyed watching them this year. They were fun to watch and an easy team to like. And how can you not like Coach O? He's one of the genuinely good guys in the business. This was a great interview for him and I like how he always says it's all the players and not about him at all. That's so refreshing to hear. So even though I'm not an LSU fan, I can say I am a fan of LSU now. Great season LSU and Geaux Tigers (just once for Coach O)!

@@lukeskywalker9580 yes I know that's why I think most likely Mac will start, considering the circumstances he did pretty good when he had to step in and showed much potential in the Auburn game which minus those two picks he had a monster game against a legit defense and what he didn't do right is very fixable with more experience in which he turned around and had a excellent game against Michigan so I'm thinking he'll hold onto his job while the others learn the offensive system more behind him to get them more ready that's just my guess on what to expect at the QB position for 2020.

How could he not go to LSU and win? The one thing that's been holding LSU back for so many years was its lack of offense. Finally, LSU has found an offense to compliment its defense. I'm not an LSU fan but I've seen a lot of LSU games and know a lot of LSU fans. Congratulations to LSU and your fanbase, y'all waited a while for this one. Well done Coach O, and just this once GEAUX TIGAHS!

Galen Merrick I meant everyone who is trying deny that. But les miles did do good job but the reason is why he got fired because of when LSU approach to him telling they wants him to fired Cameron but he did not do it.
Well in college football, it's like what Lou Holz said...you're fired the day you're hired. The fans will love you as long as you win, but a couple of 4-7 or 5-6 seasons will put any coach on the hot seat, especially at LSU. They will always love Coach O for who he is, but he is not immune from being told by LSU, "we want the team to go in another direction."

"Greatest College Football Team Ever"? Let's wait until we pass that heavy of judgment. Lot's of great teams have played over the years. That's a pretty weighty title to be giving out.
None of them have ever beat the preseason top 4. None of them beat 5 of the final top 8 of which the other 3 were them and 2 teams that lost to teams that LSU beat. None of them beat 7 top 10 teams. None of them had the Heisman, Broyles, Belietnikoff, Thorpe, Best OL trophy (cant remember name), and the COY. There may be a team somewhere in history that could beat them on the field but no team in the history of college football comes close to what LSU did. The teams they beat and the accolades they collected are second to none.
