I worked in Louisiana for years and this interview is the first time I have understood him..lol I worked as a Towboat Captain with several of my crew members on the boat were Cajuns. I also had to talk to the other Captains and about every fifth boat on average was likely a piloted by a Cajun. This is a really good interview and shows him in a good light. This is the first interview I have ever seen him in that I could understand everything he was saying. lol Him and Sark and hopefully even Kiffin have finally matured and at least O and Sark have changed a lot. I know Sark does not drink at all anymore not sure about Coach O or if he ever had any of the problems Lane and Sark had. I think like Coach O one day Sark will get another chance if he wants it. Lane more or less drank himself out of a job but he is awful quite these days so maybe he has matured. That was a hell of a staff Carroll had and also Jimmy Johnson during Miami's reign as the best. I wish him great success except against UA. This year's game will be exciting if Tua is able to play and I think he will be. However if it is as bad as his ankle was hurt in the UGA game he will not be back for LSU. I know he said that he did not completely heal until after Spring Practice and the SEC CG was in Dec.. He was able to play in about 4 Weeks but he was not close to 100%. Jalen had the same surgery last year and he could not even walk for two weeks. He took at least 4 weeks to heal enough to play. Both had Level 3 sprains which swell and have tendon or ligament tears. I do not think it is a 3 and hope it is a 1 if so he will be back for the game. If the loser does not have another loss it may be possible for two SEC teams to get in it depends on OU and OSU. At least 4 SEC teams would go unbeaten with Clemson's schedule. It will be hard for any of us not to lost a game. Good luck I certainly did not know he was ever at Miami.
I'm a big Elephant fan, but you have to like this guy. He came all the way to Alabama to see a very sick child who was a fan of his. This guy is first class all the way.

He's quite a man, My Christian brother. I'm from Alabama, old enough to have listened to that game when Billy Cannon ran the touchdown against Ole Miss. I'm still fascinated with the Cajun culture of Louisiana, as are many, many people. We used to love to hear those French names of the LSU players, and we still do. My favorite LSU cheer is the "Hot Boudin". Only I want the cheerleaders to keep the whole cheer French, not "c'mon Tigers, poosh, poosh, poosh!", but "ALLON tigers, poosh, poosh, poosh!" All the best to Coach O I believed in you back at USC an, I believe in you now so, God bless Coach you are the best💜💙❤️🌹
What a WONDERFUL video! I'm a UGA fan, but I enjoyed this so much. I came here after watching LSU beat BAMA yesterday...go TIGERS! I have even more respect for Coach Orgeron after hearing his story and hearing that he loves God, his family and LSU. That is awesome! By the way, I love his Cajun accent! Cajuns Creole Louisiana proud people and I love how they talk. Coach O I would send my grandsons to play for guy. Very humble and unassuming but don't get it twisted. Competitive beyond comprehension and Tigers beating bama
Congrats Coach O!!! I’m one of the SC grads that wanted you as our head coach. Life is interesting... it’s in the hard times we grow the most. LSU is fortunate to have you, and you are home!

I'm a die hard Florida gator and I hate LSU with a passion. But I have the utmost respect for Coach O for his grit and hustle. From one Ba Ba to another...Much Love to Coach O. I was in Death Valley for the Ole Miss game when you first brought them to Tiger Stadium as their Head Coach. I live in Thailand now but, I am a Texan! Coached Texas football! Believe in and support all college teams from Texas when they play outsiders! lol I watched the UT/LSU game this year and thought LSU had the better team but not by much. As the year progressed I would watch the highlights of LSU when they played ranked teams and was amazed at how they seem to improve. When they beat Alabama I was sold. I did not know much about Ed Orgeron but thanks to you and this post, I do now! A great season, a great story, and a great person leading the LSU Tigers! I now can call my Cajon neighbors at LSU one of my favorite teams. Go Tigers!
One of the best leaders in the game! Happy for the Tigers and how much Coach O has grown. He's never given up on his faith in the Lord. Win it all this year boys!

Coach O is always Coach O and that what makes him great. He is a fighter, a hard-working man, a great motivator, a great coach, and he is always consistently the same, i.e., a great individual.
I honestly don’t understand how you can not love this man. He is a genuine guy, with the purest of hearts, who loves his state, the people and his heritage. I can’t express how happy I am for him and for my favorite school to have him and as Joe said in his Heisman speech, I sure hope they give him a lifetime contract too. He is the only man on this planet that I would want to be the head coach of my LSU Tigers and we’re blessed to have him. God bless him, LSU and the state of Louisiana and Geaux Tigers💜💛🐯🐯
I'm from Lockport, LA, about 15 miles North of BeBe's hometown. Lafourche Parish has had it's share of great College and Pro football, baseball, and basketball players. From Joe Labruzzo, Bobby Hebert, Tommy Hodson, Ben Bordelon, BeBe, Ronnie Estay, Larry Wilson, Nicky Savoie, Art Cantrelle, Curtis Martin, Oliver Marcel, among others. There is not ONE man better suited to coach LSU. I think it is every young man in Lafourche Parish dream to be good enough to play at LSU, in whatever sport they play. And to play for a coach like BeBe, it would be a dream come true. All of the above guys are some of the nicest people you would want to meet. No bragging about what they accomplished. Just down to earth guys. But, when they were on the field, they would just as soon tear your arm off and beat you in the head with it. LSU has the right coach, right now. No 18 years of mediocre Charlie Mac.
Alabama fan here. I Love this Man. I heard a lot of people talk smack about em when he was hired. this man here loves his school loves his state. when you lswho fans get ready to run em out of town. he has a Home here in Bama if he wants one. #RMFT

Lifelong OM Rebel fan here. I loved the guy as head coach, and I was really let down with OM fans and the University when he was fired (say what you might, fellow Reb fans...I stand with O). I am so happy to see him lead a team to excellence, win or lose. I'll pull for Coach O any day of the week, but especially on November 9th!
Amazing coach. Amazing quarterback. The QB and COACH have to be in tune to make a team all come together and just like my SAINTS u can feel love and emotion for one another. It makes me so proud of where I come from. You can't fake that shit. It's in our blood and we all feel the pleasures and pains. And I am just so happy to say I was born and raised in da bayou.
I was raised a Gator loyalist. I will always be for the Orange and Blue, but I gotta tell ya I love Coach O. I'm excited for the next chapter of the Rivalry with our two great coaches. I always felt like the SEC is at its best when the Gators and the Tigers are on top. Go Gators!
I am a big Bama fan but I really like and admire Coach O. It seems like Bama fans have a lot of respect for the LSU program. I am looking forward to THE game in Tuscaloosa in 12 days! May the best team win. Roll Tide!!

Go Tigers!
Born and raised in Cut Off, Louisiana
Raised on the Sabine River in Merryville, La
One of the best leaders in the game! Happy for the Tigers and how much Coach O has grown. He's never given up on his faith in the Lord. Win it all this year boys!

USC miss on good coaches so often. They really have a serious bad decision making.
I think they’re already rueing the day 😂
Love his Cajun accent! War eagle and good luck to you, Coach O
So many chills. I love this man!
I'm sure as a gator my fellow gators fans will hang me for this but I have no problem with LSU and I love Ed Orgeron, that being said Go Gators!

We are lucky to have Coach O @ LSU,GEAUX TIGERS!
Great interview. Love you coach
#RMFT
LA people good hard working honest fun loving people, had the best time in my teenage life visiting with a friend in college who was from Layfette, probly spell wrong, all most moved there sort of wished I had,so layed back, roll tide.
I'm from new iberia which is 18 miles south of lafayette.. beautiful women in Lafayette too huh? Stay cool my friend..
I have new found love for Coach O, after this interview
The kids play hard for him I live in Arkansas but Love LSU win or loose I'll love the purple and gold Geaux Tigers
Even as a Gator fan, you gotta love Orgeron.
Good luck Coach O!
Well..... after beating yu know who, they will make him Governor. Couldn’t happen to a better person though! Congrats Coach O
I was raised a Gator loyalist. I will always be for the Orange and Blue, but I gotta tell ya I love Coach O. I'm excited for the next chapter of the Rivalry with our two great coaches. I always felt like the SEC is at its best when the Gators and the Tigers are on top. Go Gators!
Geaux Coach O, Geaux Tigers and STAND UP AND ROAAAR!!!!
