I'm in love with the fact that folk music means the same tune is goin to turn up in songs from Ireland AND France.
We also have a song with the same melody in German
@rafael Perez Urbina "Hejo, spann den Wagen an" :)
Same Gaelic culture.
Belle Perkins the tune is probably breton, which is a celtic region (close to wales amd cornwall ect)
We have the same tune here in Italy, it is called "Vento sottile"
I don’t know why but when I listen to songs with Celtic tunes, I feel this sad longing for something. Am I the only one? I’m not even of Celtic descent (i’m a full blooded asian actually)
You'd be surprised what your DNA and soul is connected to! Don't trivialize it! You have a strong connection, you'll find what connects you sooner or later. 💖
@@Makkaru112 merciii
English translation:
fresh wind morning wind
wind blowing at the peaks of the tall pines
joy of the wind blowing go in the wind
I might be wrong, but shouldn't it be
"Allons dans le grand vent" --> "let's go into the wind" ?
Since "allons" by itself means it's _imperarif_
@@JosephM You're right I think
@@JosephM yeah, it’s more accurate
German: Hejo, spann den Wagen an
Denn der Wind treibt Regen übers Land
Hol die gold'nen Garben, hol die gold'nen Garben
Thx
Ok, I am brazilian so I don't know how to write in french BUT I really wanted to tell you something; Maybe you'll never see this but... I really like the way your songs are made, it's so medival, angelical... I'm in love with your voice, it's so pretty!
xoxo, hugs from Brazil! ♥♥♥
(I'm sorry if you saw any mistake with the write or the grammar...)
BR!!!!!
BR AEEE PO**A

The melody in the beginning is sooo similar to "The Star of the County Down"
Love the song:)
Phew! its not just me lol I thought the same thing!!! :)
I thought I was losing my mind
OOOOOOH MY GOD
I love that song! It also sounds like a song by Santiano
I didn't remember where I have already listen this ^^ Thanks
First time hearing this song in français, I’m italian and these are our lyrics:
Vento fino,
vento del mattino
Vento che scuoti
la cima del mio pino
Vento che canti, che danzi,
La gioia tu mi mandi
Vento fino
This song reminds me the best part of my childhood, thank you Cecile, your voice and your harp are always amazing and I love you. ♥️
To me this sounds like a mix of “The star of the County down” but then also “Rose Rose Rose Red” it’s such a random mix but ITS SO GOOD!!
I've been wondering for years why this song sounds so familiar, thank you so much!
more like soalin by peter, paul and mary - same melody like a rose rose rose red but faster pace like here.
there's a christmas carol "hey ho, nobody's home" that has the same melody
@@chanimarta that's soalin
@@10hawell If you say so. I just know it as hey ho, nobody home; the oldest written notation of it is found in Ravenscroft's Pammelia (1609).
This song has only one very big problem...
It ends.
(Chapeau for the mix with "The Star of the County Down"!)
not if you loop it it doesn't!
(it actually loops amazingly smoothly)
@@Arenuphis It's true! I would have learnt this feature later...
I like this animation very much,
A voice singing is healed very much❤︎"
IM GOINNA HAVE A STROKE DID I JUST STEP ON IRISH FOLK MUSIC WITH FRENCH LYRICS I-
This is French folk music too, and a german too and almost all eastern European countries too.
Our countries are close enough and for so much time that a lot of popular cultural things have an equal version of it in a lot of different countries.
And this for so much time that is nearly impossible to know where it comes from for example, if you ask a French person about this song, it's an original French folk music.
I found that fact pretty cool btw.
@@soolkeeper3483 am Romanian. Never heard anything like this.
@@soolkeeper3483 I'm not sure about eastern europe. Never heard anything similiar in slavic countries. Slavic music sounds much diffrend from gaelic or anglosaxon.
YES YOU DID!!! That's totally Cécile Corbel for you. :D
Merci beaucoup
Sound like a hymn of a cute warrior princess.
Irlandaise ??

My french teaher in middle school taught us this song, we would sing it as a class

Jolie! Mes compliments.
It's so mystical and wonderful too .
💕
My choir uses this melody as a warm up, but with different lyrics;
Hey ho
Nobody home
Meat nor drink nor money have I none
Still I will be very merry
(Repeat infinitely)
The violin part also sounds like The Parting Glass
We learned a Hebrew version of this in kindergarten. Very beautiful.
Un chant de mon enfance magnifiquement repris 💖
She has such an ethereal-sounding voice! 😍

:) L'illustration me fait bien voyager.
Vent frais,

Joie du vent qui souffle.
Allons dans le grand vent.
I remember this song!! My mother always sang it with us children. Such sweet memories :)
Wow! Amazing sound!😍 and beautiful melody❤️ by 🇯🇵japan
She used the star of the countydown's instrumental to sing a very famous french song that everybody has learnt during their childhood, everybody know this song here in France ;)

What an amazing song! Your voice is beautiful, it sounds so magical! 💘💘💘
Greetings from Uruguay.
French lullabys are the best. By far.
Very beautiful 😍 Greetings from Poland
Lots of love from Indonesia. 💖

Oh, my choir used to sing this tune as a warmup! Though we used the words, “Hey, ho, anybody home? Meat nor drink nor money have I none; still I will be very merry,” repeating until our teacher thought we were done.

*Whaou* !
