This time lapse coupled with the OST is great. It makes me want to actually start learning how to do this myself since I have a drawing tablet now.
This made me.think that we could have some more "especial armor" like the silver/wolf pelt one that gives buffs to freezing temperatures. Like if this root armor gave something in the swamps. Would make a interesting differentiation to armor types. Like we could have a really beefy one that doesn't give any extra buffs and, yes, could be used anywhere. And then some lesser stronger armor on re raw side that is highly benefited in certain regions :)
This armor does give you resistance to poison in the swamp.
Root armor is best in game as of now. Full set = pierce and poison res.. note, weak to 🔥. No more squito insta death. This set rocks and is not hard to get.

@@OCDyno at moment that character has the full set, a lox cape. showing -4 at moment. however movement is ok as i balance foods pretty good. put it this way, the advantages outway everything. i got this set in a few hours "played hard" the swamp i was in is loaded with Aboms, be careful lol you can easily get annihilated stepping into anothers aoe. at one point i has 3 of them chasing me.. anyhow, because i got this set and was in a mixed biome i scored the lox goods, ran into the mountains to get the rest " had to have frost res of course".. wolf became meat fast and i was lucky to find "without a wishbone" Silver veins - is actually easy to do if you know what you are looking for. if i had another set like troll armor which i actually love i would have been dead meat several times over reaching the point my character is at as of now. honestly this set may be too good.. so maybe expect some debuff later on... i have not fought bonemass with this set yet, so that will be the tell tail sign.. I play 99.9% solo, so this set is a really must have as i hate death "Hard Core"

Amazing work, I can't wait to put up this armour on my viking naiad in Valheim.
How about an enchantment system for armour and arms to give them special properties? Lots of design space still left there. Some already have such things (silver weapons) but I think it could be made into a property that could be imbued to any weapon. Runes or something like that, that one could add to their arms and armour. Also giving each armour set their own bonus would incentivise using even the low tier sets for certain purposes. Rags could for example give a bonus to gathering, on the other hand if a rune system would be implemented, the lower tier armour could have more rune slots to enhance them but less inherent defensive power.

i really hope valheim will have something similar as minecraft where we can choose versions of the game to play.. i'd really hate seeing my first world created in valheim crash because the game got updated past a point it cant load my map anymore. love what you guys doing, to me it doesnt matter if the game gets slow updates i know valheim is your baby and you want to care for it thats all i need to know
It’s an old comment but the game actually does work like Minecraft in a different way, areas of the map you’ve explored stay the same while new places generate as you discover them so as long as you don’t discover the entire map you’ll get to see all the new stuff and even the old

the devs dropped the ball on this game. i would be ashamed if i was them.
Please hire at least a FEW new more people to push out content a litte faster. This is the main problem of this game. Everything else is just Amzing and Epic and should serve as a rolemodel for the gaming industry as a whole.
They've explained why they don't want to hire people, it's their game and they want to work on it themselves
Hiring more people does not make content come out faster.
