But bf 109 was able to fly upside down because the spraying system for oil invested by f. Porsche. Spitfire's engines very often use to switch off during manuveres.
As I understood it, Britain was at war with Germany - not just England......consequently it is a British Spitfire not just an English Spitfire - unless you know otherwise.

The 109E suffered from lack of range and turning radius. Another factor to consider is the Spit operated on home turf and this is always an advantage.
