Hi, I have the same car. In the pictures of the engine it looks like you have an oil leak on the valve cover as well. It is very common in THP engines. With the mileage it has, it would be convenient to replace it since the PCV valve is located in it.
What is the black cover you are removing at 3:48? I don't have one on my 2007 207cc Sport (non turbo) Should it be on my car? I would like one if anyone knows the part number
Same car, same problem, before tune the THP u always should spend a lot of money on better pistons, turbo etc. The cost to rebuild the whole engine with better components and tune it is around 5000€, worth only if u think to keep this car with u so many years. Without a solid base i wont recommend any tune neither a stage 1. Also, i know sounds good, but dont use a cone filter, the air is too much and h should improve the fuel pump too, a panel filter like BMC sounds less but is way better to keep the engine safe, especially a fragile one like the THP and in my opinion u should remove the popoff valve, cuz is just a nice whistle but that with a longer intercooler manifolds increase the turbo lag. I know sounds nice with cone filter and popoff, but trust me safety and performace are better than sound! :)
Oof that doesn't sound good. Too bad the car having problems, you are one of the few one peug 207 guys i watch, your editing skills and showcases of mods and led lights are impeccable. I wish you had the hdi engine, which is diesel but way more reliable.
I think you should do Stage 1 but don't do 0-100kmh (0-62mph) runs because in 1st gear the turbo can fail. 2nd, 3rd and higher gears I think its not a problem but up to you
Driving a 200thp 308 gti, recently had a revision it costed 10k... insane i have a completly new engine, everything was just done completely, only the crankshaft was the part they could use for the new engine...
Nice car when new, I had one for almost 3 years, and it was fun, but garbage reliability and parts are expensive it's not worth it for me. Golf might be a better option.
i have a 207 gti aswell, and i always change the coils every year because i find they like to go, had the timing done 8 years ago was a fault with mine at 30 k miles on the clock , but the engine is still going strong with 72 k miles it has now.
I actually did, I bought Toyota Corolla TS (1.8 193hp Naturally aspirated) in 2013 so I had a lot of fun with a naturally aspirated hot hatch & wanted to enter the turbo world. Like I said in the video I still love and enjoy the car so much (Peugeot 207 GTI) :)

Im happy youre fixing this beauty!
I love my 1600 16v and im already looking for qn engine replacement, im gonna ride it till the wheels fall off
What oil do you use on your 207 GTI? Here we use 5W40 on THP.

Exelent now we can have more video on peugeot 207 good news
very nice video!! bravo
For the reliability, did you change the chain tensioner ? ;)
Mechanic checked the condition of the chain tensioner and said it still looks good but I will in near future replace, to be safe
車をとても大事にされてますね
私もこの車をゲームでよく使ったことがあるので治ってよかったです
@Vuckohd got exactly the same turbo from neobros it still goes well but I don't know, I'd like to go and do a stage 1 as well but iam concerned

Hi, where are you from bro?
Hi, Serbia
I like your videos so much about Peugeot 207. I am from Brazil and it helps me to improve my English. Don't give bro
Give up*
U were lucky bro !
Those THP aren't this much reliable unfortunately :/
Would you now recommend a stage 1 on a 207 GTI ? :)
THPUMMMM , check the engine rings and the orings of the valve cover gasket.
Nice car when new, I had one for almost 3 years, and it was fun, but garbage reliability and parts are expensive it's not worth it for me. Golf might be a better option.
Uff not bad, could be worse then that :) Long live to ours 207 hahah

Where are you located? I have the same car I need coils and clutch master
I'm in Scotland, I get alot in ebay for parts cheaper than going to the car store to get them if your doing it yourself
@@invasionsg1 Someone else with a coil problem! Mine have gone twice in 4 years of owning. simple fix but bloody nightmare having to re-MOT
try to get turbo from maxspeeding
rotos
Thanks for suggestion but now my turbo is working great after the rebuild, they also gave me a 1 year warranty for the turbo 💪
jah bless great car i love it classic
Why dont u make any video on serbian
Stick with Japanese naturally aspirated petrols my man :D

that sucked, atleast its fixed now
Good for you it's not the bent valves or engine internals!
Yeah thats what I thought, hence why I used endoscope camera to check
@@VuckoHDyou may wanna change your coolants acidic levels... looks like rustwater to me
Next time skip the Stage 1.
