Rise!Donnie, 12!Raph, 03!Mikey, MM!Leo. Just- just imagine with me for a moment. 3 absolute crackheads, who either could give less of a shit about listening to instructions or go out of their way to disregard them in the most violent fashion humanly(mutantly?) possible. Then pair those guys with a Leonardo that has barely any experience, in leadership or otherwise, that already seems to have at least 5 separate anxiety disorders to his name, trying desperately to hold them together to no avail. In terms of comedic potential alone this grouping is elite, but i think they would also be the most affective at needlessly blowing up an entire city block.
There's one thing that shredder's revenge has over turtles in time. Shredder's revenge doesn't push you to play the hard mode to get the whole ending

TMNT Smash Up on the Wii is an awesome game. It's a lot like smash bros, but it has it's own unique mechanics and gimmicks. I highly recommend checking that one out. Also, the TMNT game from 2007(that's based on the movie) is pretty decent too.

Id love to know what you think about the 2007 TMNT Movie and Game. The film has been my favorite for a long time and I remember the game being a very simple game. One button combos, timed levels, and simple super moves with some heart.
I always liked it better than most 3d turtle games but it’s probably false memories. Id genuinely love to know what you think of them…. Or just the movies in general

TMNT looked fun from let's play I watched when I was little, and the movie is great, I love it so much and I've had the DVD for like 7 or 8 years now. Only problem was that they slept on Mikey and especially Donatello, who's my favorite as he is the best turtle and the one I relate to the most.
Imagine a game where you play as Leo and it has the guardians of the galaxy type gameplay

as someone who isnt into TMNT I would love to see a video maybe talking about random stuff that the average joe wouldnt even know about, maybe just explaining more obscure or less main stream characters would be really cool and might hook some people into wanting to learn more and getting into the franchise
I’d like to mention that the fellas at Tribute Games also worked on a GBA games based off the 2007 TMNT movie.
With how TMNT is going to turn 40 years old in 2024. I think a good sequel to Shredder’s Revenge would be to revisit the Turtles Forever idea.
Maybe you could start out with one Turtle from each TV show like say, Rise!Leonardo, 2003!Donatello, 2012!Michelangelo, and 1987!Raphael

Great video as always... on the topic of more TMNT videos you could do.
Here are some potential ideas = TMNT (rarely anyone talks about that movie or how it's TECHNICALLY a sequel to the live action trilogy), Next Mutation (the only person to talk about that "show" or even it's Power Rangers crossover is Phelous), maybe a comic retrospective with Diego on the IDW run or Last Ronin, or a mini retrospective on the movie trilogy.

5: 40 was 80s level trippy (flashing lights warning)
I still prefer turtles in time, shredder's revenge is great though, why they couldn't give Michaelangelo his two nunchucks instead of just giving him one is odd to me.
Turtles in Time also had more drastic different stats between the Turtles.
Michaelangelo has the most health and the best base attack damage and the slowest attack animations.
Raphael had the least amount of health but his shoulder bash was more powerful than the other Turtles, he technically also does the most damage because of this, you can spam shoulder bashes.
Donatello has range and an extremely good dive kick but hes the second weakest turtle in terms of a health pool.
Leo doesn't excel at anything but doesn't have any huge negatives either.

I just hope the success of this game makes it clearer to publishers that putting out a good product is all that matters to have a succesful licensed game. Guess that's a pipe dream but really, all it takes is for the game to be fun lol
About Tokka and Rahzar. I may be wrong, but I actually remember seeing them in an episode of the 80/90s cartoon. It was probably about two to three years after the second film premiered. I have the entire series on DVD, so I can go back and check on it.
Glad to see the new game lived up to the hype. If you ever need more ideas for Turtles videos, I'd suggest reading the comics. The sheer variety in them alone would be enough for a while.

Xavier's Dream TMNT Game
Yeah, Shredder's Revenge is a lot better than Turtles in Time. It may just be me, but I've always felt that the Konami beat 'em ups had some questionable game feel to it. Like, hitting an enemy in an old Konami beat 'em up like Turtles in Time and X-Men arcade doesn't feel as good as it does in a Capcom or SEGA beat 'em up, like Final Fight or Streets of Rage 2. I'm glad Shredder's Revenge doesn't have that problem. Despite some of my issues with Shredder's Revenge (like how you can't jump while dashing), this might be my favorite beat 'em up, or at least tied for second with Streets of Rage 4 (which was funny enough was also worked on by Dotemu).
A TMNT retrospective going through all the shows and movies would be nice.
