I know this is years old but here’s a little info about the song.
It’s something a bit more simple actually. Basically it’s a song about the singer (Gumi) remembering someone by the small memories they’ve had with that someone and their face, but can’t remember the persons name. This causes Gumi to beat herself up about it and in the end of the original songs lyrics (not the cover) the lyrics actually translate to, “Your name is-“. Gumi finally remembers the persons name, but the song cuts off right then and there. What you’ve come up with is actually really cool! I hope this helped!
