As for "Love Attack," I think you're onto something with your background knowledge about the perfume applications of ambergris. I didn't know this until just recently, but apparently there's a scent aspect to the Rescene lore-- which would explain why in Hangul their name is spelled with the "--scene" syllable sounding like "scent" instead of "scene"." I had been wondering why that's the case but never took the time to look into it.

I was sooo dissapointed in 143 Ent for using that much AI .... and my reaction was the same as yours. The song and the album is very good, but i couldn't bring myself to watch the OG MV one more time. Fortunately, 143 Ent did apologized and 2 weeks later put out a 'Natural' version without the AI which looks waaay better! ME:I was formed by produce 101 JP and let me tell you it was the BEST audition program ever. It felt very centered around the participants, their struggles but also how the trainers and staff supported them and helped them overcome it. Excellent original songs too. Serina and Nagomi, the 2 new members in Madein were actually on produce101JP as well!

The OMG Killing Voice was pretty amazing.......WM Entertainment prioritizes singing over all else (I mean their logo in addition to being the WM initials is a mic suspension frame in recording studios) and now 10 years in these girls are PROFESSIONAL singers who know EXACTLY what their voices can do. Dream Fairy concept is a dying genre which is so unfortunate. Although, I think we've been in a pretty long run of girl crush we could see a return to it with a focus on singing vs dancing but we shall see. In regard to Weeekly, I also have no clue. IST Entertainment must not have a lot of cash on hand and I'd guess they're structured where each group is responsible for their own success (in regards to revenue). Ven Para REALLY derailed their path and once you don't get any revenue from one comeback for these mid size companies it just leads to not enough money to promote for the next one and then it just snowballs

'Classified' is from Oh My Girl's latest mini-album Dreamy Resonance. It's definitely my favorite release from them in a while. Their Killing Voice is great too. I'm overall quite disappointed in the MADEIN release, especially after liking what Limelight did as a trio. If I ever revisit it, I'll listen to the performance version instead. QWER might be a grower for me too. I'm here for the car crash visuals and the weirdness. We'll see. ME:I is going on the list, too. I love color pop sounds like this. Still waiting for WOOAH's 'Purple'. 😂😂 That might be a lost cause at this point, lol.
MADEIN's MV taints it (we now have both the performance video and the Natural version of the MV to make 'em easier to watch), but musically, I'm not disappointed at all, and I think they carry on some of the feel of LimeLight without being quite the _same._ I really enjoyed the rest of the EP too; I think DM said we're getting a performance video for at least one of the other tracks.
44:36. Rebranding was the worst thing they could have done...why throw away all the hard work the trio did promoting the group? But in hindsight after this disaster of a redebut at least the Limelight era is untainted. I love Yeseo and Mashiro but this redebut was not worth pulling them out of Kep1er, as of now at least. I was against adding members in the first place, but I wish I could have been proven wrong. Song is good at least. MV is horribly edited (see the pan cuts and slide transitions)...its lazy and low budget. And the AI was the worst part, especially during an existing Deepfake scandal in Korea. Ugh I try not to be negative, but this was so disappointing.

'Classified' is from Oh My Girl's latest mini-album Dreamy Resonance. It's definitely my favorite release from them in a while. Their Killing Voice is great too.
I'm overall quite disappointed in the MADEIN release, especially after liking what Limelight did as a trio. If I ever revisit it, I'll listen to the performance version instead.
QWER might be a grower for me too. I'm here for the car crash visuals and the weirdness. We'll see.

MADEIN's MV taints it (we now have both the performance video and the Natural version of the MV to make 'em easier to watch), but musically, I'm not disappointed at all, and I think they carry on some of the feel of LimeLight without being quite the _same._ I really enjoyed the rest of the EP too; I think DM said we're getting a performance video for at least one of the other tracks.

44:36. Rebranding was the worst thing they could have done...why throw away all the hard work the trio did promoting the group? But in hindsight after this disaster of a redebut at least the Limelight era is untainted. I love Yeseo and Mashiro but this redebut was not worth pulling them out of Kep1er, as of now at least. I was against adding members in the first place, but I wish I could have been proven wrong. Song is good at least. MV is horribly edited (see the pan cuts and slide transitions)...its lazy and low budget. And the AI was the worst part, especially during an existing Deepfake scandal in Korea. Ugh I try not to be negative, but this was so disappointing.
