Oh My Girl is currently more of a senior group (for kpop). They are very popular in South Korea. Internationally, they are not popular as much as their contempories. OMGs music and discography are more musically diverse than others, and everything they have takes you on an emotional musical journey.

Since you react to boy group, maybe you want to try ONF's songs, latest one is "Bye My Monster" but all their songs are great! They are younger "brothers" of Oh My Girl in the same company. You can also try their elder brother's group B1A4..lastest song is "Rewind". Oh My Girl was 7 members during this album "DearOhMyGirl"...6 renewed contract so it's 6 members now. Oh My Girl hinted a comeback in autumn....yr sis can always email directly to WM for a meetup with them? Btw, all 3 groups have amazing discography. Their songs are really quality ones, promised!!
Btw, WM artists are all well-known for their quality from MV, music, styling....etc....B1A4, Oh My Girl and ONF. They are not a rich company but they take pride in their profession in giving good performances and showmanship.
I can tell you are brother n sister! How great to do this together!!! Im not a fan of the girl kpop groups with the mincing dance steps. They sing the song well, but not crazy about the visual. I can see the musical gift runs in the family!!!❤

Personally I believe one the difference between Western music and Kpop is how they frame themselves. Tae was quick to correct James Gordon that he is a performer, not a singer. If you are performer, you think about your entire performance which goes beyond the singing into the full aspect of an audiences experience. Kpop acts are doing shows, like Broadway shows, rather than doing Western artists stand and sing concerts. Kpop took MJ concepts and ran with it. We have a few Western artists that have (Pink for example) but most do not, they stand and sing.
